Mrs.Saito

I look to my back seeing Shizuku, the girl that I have me during my time at the airport.

"Ah! Hey, long time no see, Shizuku" I say.

"Yup. It's nice to meet you again, Hiroto!" She says, smiling back.

"How was the car ride home?"

"It was quite comfortable, went to sleep at 12:00 though."

"What?! I went to sleep around 1:00!"

"Ha!"

Me and Shizuku were just greeting eachother, forgetting that Phoenix, the new friend I made was next to my side.

I look to my side, "Ah! Yeah, this is my new friend, Phoenix"

"Phoenix this is Shizuku Haywood, I met her only a few hours ago at the airport I landed at."

"And, Uhmm, Shizuku, this is Phoenix Smith." I smile

"…"

Uhmm, awkward silence?

I turn my head to Phoenix, as she doesn't say anything.

"What's wrong?"

"Sai-saito. You're friends with Shizuku Haywood?!" She asks, visibly confused and surprised.

"Uhmm, yes? Do you know her or something?" I ask, now confused also.

She looks up in shock.

"You don't know? The Haywood family! The family that is known for producing high-leveled adventurers and owning the biggest adventuring guild in the world?!"

"Huh?!" I look back at Shizuku, and I can tell by her face, she was quite angry.

"Uhmm, I didn't know that?! Is it disrespectful for me to be so casual with her then?" I go to Phoenix's side, whispering to her ears.

"Duh!!!" Phoenix says, whispering back.

'I bet it must have looked quite shocking to the students for me to be so close with her!'

I look back to her immediately.

I bow my head, "I'm sorry! I shouldn't have been so clueless about your family!"

I can feel the students and Shizuku all looking at me.

"…"

"You don't have to bow… Hiroto."

I look up.

I was confused once more.

"B-but. Isn't it rude to-"

"I don't like it when people are so formal towards me. It makes me quite sick, being honest." She says, staring down at me with cold eyes.

…

"Most of the people I'm with get scared when I mention my family name, but you don't, so, we don't really need to be so formal with me." She says, looking to the side.

"A-are you sure?" I ask, looking up.

"Yeah…" She says, moving her head slightly, allowing me to see her face a little bit.

'Huh? Isn't her face a little red? Does she have a fever?'

I get up from my bow, quite embarrassed.

"Uhmm. Well, alright. I'm sorry for being, well… being sorry?" I say akwardly.

Suddenly, I see a person bowing, it was Phoenix.

"..?"

"I-I'm. Im also sorry!" Phoenix says, embarrassed.

Shizuku turns around to look at her.

"It's alright." She mumbles.

"Ah! It's alright, so you can raise your head too, Phoenix."

I say, lifting her up.

As we get out from a tense atmosphere, we hear another announcement.

"Hello, Students! It is currently 7:15am! Please get Ready To go To the Assigned floor From Your Schedule. The Elevators and Staircases are to the back of the cafeteria!."

We wait for the next 15 minutes to go to our first class at this school.

….

*Ding:Dong:Ding*! "All students should be here at their present classroom which was written on their Schedule sheets." the speaker said.

Me, Shizuku and Phoenix were in the same class, as we sat at the back of this big classroom.

But it wasn't really a classroom, more the thing you would see in a college with a big stage in the front and rows of seats going up.

There were about 30 kids inside this room and 1 single teacher over at the big stage, getting papers ready.

We waited around another 10 minutes for the person in the front to finish whatever he was doing.

He looked around in the room and did a fake cough.

"Ahem! Hello students, or 1st years of this semester, I was appointed to be your Homeroom teacher for this year, plus, your math professor in general studies."

He says, taking a small bow.

"Today, we will not be doing general studies, but I will be here talking about this school and other important factors you must know and follow."

He starts putting up some weird, tiny box, the size of a lighter.

"There is a live message from the principle to the newly appointed first years"

He looks up, "Please watch it respectfully and listen to the end, after all, she has the most power here than anyone."

He grins, snapping his fingers, the box pulls up a screen.

It was black for some time as we heard muffled voices. One of the voices sounded familiar.

Phoenix leaned over, "What's happening?"

"Who knows, maybe something went wrong?" Shizuku leaned over too, answering the question.

The voices from the video got clearer.

"Miss! Please be patient! We are setting it up right now!"

"You better! I have to go back home as soon as possible, my son is still in New York being taken care of by a Babysitter! How can I trust that woman?"

'Huh? This voice…'

"We have high-end guards protecting the house, we insure nothing will go wrong!" One of the ladies said quite loudly.

"Alright! Get out of the way! The camera is already rolling, the kids are seeing this live!"

"Huh? Can Hiroto see this right now? Alright, then turn off the black screen and start!"

Shizuku and Phoenix look up at me.

The other students look around confused, "who's Hiroto?"

The screen turned from black to featuring the principal.

"Hello everyone, I am your principal, Mrs. Saito!"
