Chapter 25; Are you going to fight again?

"No, that's not possible!" Mu Yang thumped forcefully on the floor while he yelled out.

"Not possible? What do you mean by not possible? I wouldn't be in this situation if it wasn't for your stupid son, why did she have to get entangled in this family of all the families... " Zhang Tao couldn't control his anger, he finally let out the fury that was bottled in.

They stood up facing each, glaring at each other and their hands were already tightened into fists.

" Are you going to fight again? You need to settle your differences unless you want us to walk our separate ways and take our own paths.." Zhan Ping was annoyed and didn't have time for this nonsense, they were adults and not some kindergarten kids who needed to solve their differences with punches.

"Yes, we can take our separate paths, we won't be doing any negotiations... " Mu Yang stomped out of the wardroom and got into the corridor, his wife chased after him and tagged behind him while Mu Rong chased after him too.

"Father, can't we just talk amicably?" Mu Rong furrowed his eyebrows worriedly.

"Amicably? What do you know? I want to settle your future with those shares, now you want to exchange them for this stupid scandal.." he was fuming mad, he accelerated his pace and boarded the elevator going down.

Mu Rong and his mother boarded too, Mu Rong didn't know how to convince his father. He was fuming mad and irrational.

"You better get that divorce soon, I don't want to be dragged into another mess." He chastised him before leaning against the mirrored wall and closing his eyes to calm down.

"Okay." He nodded his head, this was his number one priority, if he was clean and not tangled with anything it won't affect Zhan Shan.

"I hope that you aren't thinking of that promiscuous girl, you better not be entangled with her." He strongly cautioned him and he now realized things weren't as simple as they seemed to be.

Zhan Ping roughly punched the wall, not only was there a strong animosity between the two families but now the two sides went to a standstill.

He got his mobile phone from his pocket and dialed Mu Shen's number, after two rings it was picked up.

"Hello.." Mu Shen who was going through the laptop received the phone call after seeing it was a private number.

"It's Zhan Ping, can I request your help on our part because Mu Yang's family isn't ready? " He sat down on the couch massaging the space in between his eyebrows.

His knuckles had swollen and were bleeding.

"All right.. what do you have we can negotiate with?" his fingers halted midway and stopped tapping on the keyboard.

"Southern District project, I know this is worth it a lot, we can sit down and see how it can be beneficial for both parties.." He was certain he will take this up.

"All right then, I will be back in a few days, we will discuss then, have a lovely morning Zhan Ping." His voice was flat and courteously ended the phone call.

"It's time for part 2, release the news of Mu Rong's marriage. " He ordered Mu Zhu who in turn lifted his head and gawked at him surprised, what kind of a game was this? What was he trying to achieve?

"Now?" He instinctively inquired as he felt like he didn't hear him clearly.

"Yes now, you need to divert all the attention from Zhan Shan to Mu Rong, and also get some rest... you can't function well without resting." he could see the black circles around his eyes. His forehead veins were bulging out.

"Ookay... I will." He began to work on that new assignment before he can go and rest.

In the hospital, Zhan Ping exhaled loudly calming down, he knew Mu Shen was a man who kept his word, " he already promised to fix the issue. "

" But son, that project would have benefited our company greatly! " Zhan Tao was worried about the company and the family's reputation.

" We will lose a lot but it's better to clear these troubles and stabilize our shares, I'm going back home. " He stood up and exited the wardroom.

Zhan Tao hurriedly tagged behind him as they walked into the elevator.

Mu Rong, his mother, and Mu Yang arrived at the ground floor and exited the hospital door, and went down to the parking lot but they were suddenly surrounded by reporters and many paparazzi who must have been around eying for any gossip.

"Mr. Mu Yang, how come Mu Rong is married and he is still dating other girls?" One of them who was a teenage girl posed that question which surprised them all.

Mu Rong frowned and hadn't expected that his marriage will leak out like that. Who could have leaked it out if it couldn't be Zhou Meili herself? She was the only outsider who knew about the marriage.

"What are you talking about? My son is not married.. if he was married you would have attended the wedding or at least an engagement party." Mu Yang completely refuted those claims.
