The First Summon

There was a land that was full of life, it served its purpose as an oasis to every living being that lived there, there were a variety of living beings that took home from there with their children and grandchildren.

It was a peaceful land with plants and animals that coexist with one another, soon humans joined the picture as they added themselves to the environment, making houses, families, and a community.

Everything was going well until they were found out by other species that live in the same world, everyone hates each other and they would rather eat grass than live with another species not their own.

The place where all green and luster roamed, only death and blood became the nurturing ingredient that shredded the land's beautiful scenery.

Later in time, abandoned, and forgotten. Volcanoes, lava, magma, and random fires began to erupt on the ground, and soon animals that were affected by the exploding mana soon evolved. The land was turned to sand as they were affected by the heat that enveloped the land.

The land soon became a myth of the past. It was a story that would talk for the ages, everything was forgotten it was considered a hoax, nothing more than a fairy tale.

The Red Dominion shall once more show its face into the world.

Arthas bought everything that he can with his money it was an investment that he hoped would become worth it. Although it is always a mistake for spending everything at once, he didn't mind as long as he would be alive by the end of the day it still counts as a win.

'So now that I have everything that I need. I would probably need to see how an Oviraptor works'

Arthas quickly opened the screen for summoning a summoned an Oviraptor, once again he was shocked by what he saw the Oviraptor was as tall as an Ostrich. Arthas went to the zoo with his friends and was mesmerized by the animals that were there.

One particular animal the Ostrich stood out, due to its long legs and neck it ran around at high speeds and seemingly looked funny as it sprinted across the field.

The Oviraptor was the same except it looked much taller and more dinosaur-related features. The Oviraptor was looking around with its head, it had slender limbs, grasping hands, and a bizarre, distinctive skull.

Arthas looked at the Oviraptor once more and thought about what name he should give the dinosaur. He thought in his mind that a name would be necessary considering that he would have a multitude of dinosaurs at his command.

"For now I think it is better to call you something motherlike considering your nature with eggs and parental care. So I will call you Maria"

Arthas then pressed yes and the Oviraptor was named Maria in the summon bar, subsequently, he gained another 10000 points for the first time naming an Oviraptor.

His points were up to 15200, and with just 5000 more he would be able to purchase another egg, it seems the multiple egg strategy would work in the future.

The Oviraptor, Maria was frantically running around jumping with joy as she received a name from her owner. She rammed her head to Arthas pushing him down to the ground and snuggled with him as an act of appreciation.

"Hey calm down girl, thank you for showing that you like the name but you will crack my ribs if you keep doing that" Arthas mused at Maria.

Maria happily replied with a happy purr as Arthas slowly went up as Maria continued to snuggle with him.

'They purr huh? I mean we don't have evidence on how they communicate or speak so I guess I am just gonna take it as what it is.'

"Alright Maria, I am gonna summon an egg and please do handle them with care as they could be very fragile"

"Rrawrr" Maria replied in a soft tone that indicated no harm.

Arthas quickly summoned two eggs which showed themselves in a bright light as they manifested on the ground. They both had the same appearance of white and brown spots that were present on the shell.

"So how do I exactly do this? I don't think there was anything in the manual regarding this, do I go for the FAQ again?"

'Damn, I forgot where it was. FAQ is like those things that you see only when you don't need them but difficult to find when you need them.'

Arthas forgot where the FAQ was placed but it was not an issue as Maria gave a little squeal from Arthas's question and nudged her head near the egg. The egg quickly evaporated and soon the other egg as well.

"Woah, Maria what did you do?"

"Rawrrrrrrr"

Arthas asked Maria about what happened in which case he was genuinely confused about what and how it happened. Then a screen popped up from thin air showing Arthas what he wanted to see.

"Ohhhh, that's interesting. Thank you, Maria, so if I unsummon you do you still bring the parental buff that you have on the eggs?"

"Nuunuuu" Maria shakes her head as if saying that it wasn't possible.

Arthas thought about how this dinosaur knew about the system functions and how it would be able to produce such an effect but that is the essence of Video Games and Systems, you don't question it unless it will tilt you, or the game gets glitchy.

From the conversation between Arthas and Maria, he learned that Maria can only give parental guidance only when she is present in the material world. The eggs would be reduced back to their original timer.

Arthas tried to limit test what he can about the egg and found out that the timer of the egg if it isn't summoned would be paused and would not incubate. He also found out that temperature and other requirements are not needed when it was under the probation of an Oviraptor.

'That's hella OP, I ain't gonna lie, it may seem small but the dinosaur that I got from that one gacha wish was very nice, I hope I didn't wish all my luck into one pull.'

Arthas after inspecting everything unsummoned both the egg and Maria thinking that it was dangerous if left in the open.

'First, I need to find a place where I can take shelter, food, and water, all the necessary things that would be natural for surviving in this new world. The food and water that were given to me by Tax Collectors served their purpose.'

When Arthas opened the mail, he received a couple of rations and one single pull from the Tax Collector's Guidance. Although it was just small, it was enough for him to survive another 2 days or so. But it won't last long he needed to get out of this place fast.

Arthas was thinking about a strategy on how it would look from here on out when suddenly a large scorpion came out from the brush. Arthas heart pounded hard and was panicking inside.

The scorpion saw Arthas and quickly ran with its feet across the sandy area. It was fast and big, it was at least the size of a bus. It was about to get Arthas when it got squished by a giant foot.

"Well, at least I was right about the monsters, and the idea of buying a Juvenile Rex."

Arthas looked up and saw a menacing Rex that was at least two medium houses big and has powerful eyes with spikes that elongate across its back, it wasn't the normal rex that you would see on Earth.

It was a Krypten in this world, and naturally, it would be different. The Rex roared with the animosity that was targeted at everything including Arthas.
