Summoned to be a Weapon

A family arrived at the local airport as they had come to go on the family vacation the five of them had been planning to go on for weeks now. It was not often that they traveled together as a family like this. Normally it was mostly the parents who were doing the traveling while their twin daughters were the ones that stayed at home for the most part. The two of them did not really get out much either as they mainly just went to school and then came home afterwards. They did not venture out of the house most times during their free time as they really did not have that many places to go

It was not that the area was lacking in places to see or things to do at all. They were in a neighborhood where if one wanted to go somewhere then there were more than enough sites to see and places to go. All one had to do was give the time and make the effort towards doing so. That was just the area they lived in where such things were possible however neither sister was that interested in those various sights and thus only went out when they needed something otherwise they mostly just hung out around their home when not in school or having something else to do via their parents, family, and/or friends inviting them out or telling them to come out for various reasons.

The twin sisters were riding in the back of their parent's vehicle as though it was their local airport. It was a decent drive away from where they lived overall as local could also be viewed as the closest airport to where they lived actually. Both of them had different reactions to the length of the ride to the airport which was seemingly longer than usual because of reasons no one in the family was aware of at the moment.

Although they were twin sisters who both had the same red eyes and had the same short hairstyle. However, it was easy to tell them apart from one another because Kate had white hair and her sister Lina had black hair.

Kate looked over to where Lina had dozed off and was sleeping soundly as there was not much to look at out the window. The whole idea of looking at the window if you are bored does not work that well if you have seen the same scenery over and over again. You know what there thus why would looking at it be interesting or a means to deal with boredom unless something interesting happens? If something interesting does happen that not always a good thing as that means something should not be happening is. Like an accident or someone getting hurt in some way, shape, or form.

"Get up we are almost at the airport," Kate told her sister

"Then wake me up when we actually get there," Lina told her

"NO! Get up now as we are going to need to get to the moment we arrive thus do not have time to wait for you to fully wake like normal" her sister said sighing.

Lina could take a while to get her barrings straight after falling asleep at time thus getting her up beforehand was normally how this was dealt with.

After arriving at the airport...

"Now who is slowing us down" Lina said

"Is not this mostly just your stuff that I carrying" Kate complained to her

"We never know what we might need. So why not carry that much stuff as things can happen that we do not expect after all" Lina countered

"You could get into shape more as you always fell behind your sister in that aspect," their father told her

"I am at the top of our class..." Kate said before Lina interrupted her

"...whenever it comes to the short distance stuff but you are nearly dead last in the medium to long distance. Your stamina is horrible as I wonder where you get that from" Lina said

"No picking on your sister as just needs to learn to pace herself better and make the most of what stamina she does have after all" their mother said deciding to help her with the luggage.

"And you, young lady, *plucking Lina's forehead* Could learn to pack less as we are not staying that long after all. You do not need this much stuff unless.....you were not planning on selling some of this while we are there. Are you, young lady" their mother asked narrowing her eyes at Lina.

"Of course not! What made you think that I would ever have such a thought" Lina said averting her mother's eyes making look as if something in the distance had caught her attention.
