CHAPTER 29: BABY PROSPECT

Rodney was still laughing as he removes his coat.

“Lola is so funny. She really got mad at me??”

I joined him in laughing and shook my head.

Rodney was referring to an earlier incident when we came in from our date. Lola was in the living room and she thought Rodney brought another woman home.

“She thought I was cheating. Hahaha! How epic was her reaction when she realized it was you!”

His tears are almost flowing due to laughter so I hit his arm.

“I’ll tell Lola on you. You laugh at her mistake.”

He tried to contain his laughter and focused on removing his clothes.

I watched him pull up his undershirt until his six-pack abs got exposed to my eyes.

I bit my lip. Hello there, babies.

I’m getting hungry.

“Huh? You’re hungry?” he asked me with a frown.

Oh shit, was I speaking my mind?

“N-No…!” I frantically turned to the paper bag I brought home. From there, I pulled out the book I bought from a bookstore earlier.
