"How long has this been going on?" Steve asked his parents.
Three of them broke away from the hug, "for about a month now," Steve's mom replied.
"What changed your mind? Are you two sure this is what you really want?" Steve asked, he had a skeptical feeling about his parents coming back together.
"Ayo, what is the problem? Why are you asking all these questions? The most important thing is that they are back together," Lilian said as she sat down on her father's lap, and wrapped her arms around his neck, "thank you for coming back together," she said.
Steve knew his sister was happy, he didn't want to be a wet blanket but he needed to be sure that his parents were doing this for real.
"I just want to know if they are really going to pull through with this, or they are going to mess with our feelings like they did the last time," he turned to look at his mother, "you swore you were never going to have anything to do with him, what changed?"
