Thereupon Eisha blinked. She found herself standing in the middle of ten people.

They stood around her creating the perfect form of a circle. There was no space for her to run, the people opened their mouths at the same time revealing three pairs of fangs each.

Eisha stumbled back, there were five female vampires and five male vampires around her. All looking fierce and scary.

"Who did you say turned you?" one of the females asked her disbelief written all over her face.

"Nonek Starvenger," Eisha replied feeling trapped. The odds were against her all of them, they seemed strong and scary but she wasn't one to be turned down easily.

She scanned them all and returned to the girl that spoke. "I can take you," she threatened to get into formation to attack.

"You are bold. Overestimating yourself will get you killed child," one of the males spoke.

"Underestimating me is the reason I am going to kill you," Eisha fired back unfazed by his warming. "Now, who wants to die first?" She raised a question.

One of the men stepped into the circle and took Eisha's hand. He cut her palm with his claw and let her blood drop to the ground. Eisha glared at her.

She wanted to fight him when she witnessed all the others doing the same. They all cut their palms and let their blood fall to the floor.

Eisha stared at her wound, stunned by the fact that was showing no signs of healing. So was the wound of all the other vampires around her in the circle.

"Let's see if you are telling the truth," the man who cut her palm spoke out.

Eisha frowned. She was many things but a liar wasn't one of them, at least not at that moment. Every other time, lying came naturally to her.

"How do you expect to prove that?" She asked them.

No one replies to her. Then, she dropped her eyes to the ground and saw the craziest thing. All the blood of the vampires around her we're merging on the floor creating a tree.

A tree that was all so familiar to her. All vampires knew that tree, it was the tree of life, from where the first vampire was created.

Her eyes widen. As the realization hit her, she was standing amidst the Legacies. The children were sired by the first vampire.

Eisha felt the hairs on her skin standing straight. She had shivers run down her spine, her heart was beating so loud warning her of the situation she was in.

'Oh shit,' she cursed.

It occurred to her that she had threatened the most difficult vampires to kill. One of them probably sired Nonek who turned her, with one flip of the hand of the vampire that turned her maker. She would be dead.

"I think that we have gotten off on the wrong foot," she stated. She heard a scoff from the group. "Maybe we should sit and calmly talk about everything," she suggested.

"That depends on whether you were telling the truth or not," the vampire that cut her palm spoke meeting her gaze. Eisha gulped.

"Impossible," one of the females uttered in shock.

Eisha turned around and faced her. She followed the female's line of sight to the floor, to her surprise, her blood was starting to move towards the incomplete tree that had formed, forming the roots of the tree.

All of her blood gathered on the tree, and just then her wound healed, the same as the wounds of all the other vampires.

Elisha had no clue what that meant, she crossed her fingers that it wasn't them making their judgment on her. She was yet to plead for herself and it would be wrong if they decided she was guilty without hearing her out.

"I have someone," she uttered. "A man that I love and he loves me. He would be devastated if I never return home," she went on to say.

All the vampires looked at her with furrowed eyebrows. Surprised by her sudden outburst, they had no idea where her confession was coming from and waited to hear the point of her telling them about her love life.

"My name is Eisha Sallow," she introduced herself to them. They all went wide with shock. "I know that I've done some terrible things in the past but I swear in the name of my beloved that I have changed," she spoke up crisscrossing her fingers behind her back.

"What did you say your name was," the female who spoke earlier asked her.

"Do you have a hearing problem? You keep asking me to repeat things are you d..." Eisha controlled her tongue when she realized who she was talking to.

Her life was still in danger and she had one chance to try to convince herself that she was a good person. A person deserving of a second chance and shouldn't be killed off. And insulting one of the legacies was hardly earning her points on getting that.

"Sorry, I try to be a good person but sometimes my tongue doesn't cooperate with me," she claimed to the girl. "Please don't kill me," she pleaded.

The vampire that scoffed earlier broke into laughter. He clapped his hands and walked over to Eisha.

"I have to admit, you are the most interesting vampire I have ever met, little sister," he said.

"Well thank y..." Eisha blinked, her mind processing what the man said. The male called her younger sister which caught her by surprise that she wasn't sure how to react.

"Looks like Nonek wasn't mad after all, he did have an eleventh child," one of the females said. "The eleventh legacy is real," she added.

Eisha was dumbstruck. Confused and lost at what was happening. They all lost her at the eleventh legacy. There was no way, that she was a legacy.

That Nonek, the crazy vampire than turned her was the first vampire to be created. That seemed crazy and insane.

She closed her eyes and massaged her temples. 'What is happening?' Her mind screamed internally.
