Mutant Midi-chlorian, A New Era Is About To Begin

It has been 5 days now since Ken regained consciousness inside this unaging body. He has spent his time reading any documents and logs he could get his hands on about Darth Magus before his arrival. He also commanded all the droids to leave him alone except for when he needs his meals so that he can study in peace. It turns out that Darth Magus had collected 5 Holocrons over his time in the world and stored them here in his collection.

Not only did the Holocrons contain basic sith techniques and specific sith inheritances, but two of the Holocrons were Jedi Holocrons. Ken found that only certain grey area techniques came abnormally easy to him during his testing. Jedi and Sith-specific techniques were much more difficult to master. He could understand the difficulty of Jedi techniques, but he was dumbfounded that just trying to channel his anger through the force was difficult. He thought that this was ridiculous because he remembered in Star Wars lore the Sith were always the shortest and easiest path to power. Their techniques should be rough, easy to use, and powerful.

He decided to chalk this up to his weird mutant Midi-chlorian that the medical droids mentioned. It was not impossible to use Jedi and Sith unique techniques, but it would take him much longer to learn them than even the most untalented force sensitive. Perhaps it was more difficult because he is not assisted by the force. He had already felt a one-way connection to him. It felt a little disjointed and dizzying. The force had a minimal influence on him and at the same time, he was able to communicate with the force if only he was the initiate.

When he first discovered this, he felt a bit annoyed. He had such strange and unnatural Midi-chlorian and he could tell they would cause him all kinds of unpredictable circumstances. But he calmed down just as quickly as his anger came. It was only a matter of time till he mastered these things and he had all the time in the world, right? He learned that he had been placed in the era preceding the Galatic Empire and the glory days of the High Republic. It was currently 323 BBY and he was in a far-off location, outside of the known galaxy. With this known, he wasn't too worried about any big events happening just yet and he continued to learn about himself.

Ken realized just how good his new body's memory was. His thinking was also incredibly fast and he could finish reviewing work 50% faster than normal human motor neurons allowed. This was why he spent so little time and had already gone through the 5 stored Holocrons on the station while summing up his experiences in an organized manner. He had become a genius, all he needed was time to accumulate enough knowledge and wisdom to use his brain to its full potential.

'Of course, if Magus truly wanted to live forever he would need a perfect memory. That's why he made those brain modifications and added the bio-chip. But sadly the bio-chip was destroyed.'

Ken stood in front of a mirror in his room. He was 5'11, with braided brown hair, brown skin, a sharp nose, and a symmetrical face. To be honest, when he looked in the mirror and touched his face he felt a slight imposter syndrome. Like how patients would feel after plastic surgery, where they couldn't recognize themselves. He couldn't say he was the most handsome face, but he wasn't ugly. His face was symmetrical so it looked nice, but Ken still didn't think he looked that amazing. He thought it was probably a difference in aesthetics between his old world of earth and the humans of the Star Wars universe.

He wore long black sith robes from Darth Magus's wardrobes. They had a brown trim and two tassels hung along a slim black belt. The robe hood was left unused for now, folded over onto his back. He turned left and right, admiring his sith robes with glee. He was still taking it all in. He was here! He was in the Star Wars world! He was a force sensitive with amazing potential and talent!

He took the small lightsaber blade from the counter. It was just barely big enough to fit his hand, it had a metallic silver and orange lined coating with a black leather substance at the center. It was a metal grip, with ridges to keep it from slipping. This used to be Darth Magus's lightsaber. Ken flicked the switch of the handle in expectation.

Ken saw that the lightsaber didn't react when he clicked the switch multiple times and he frowned. He knew that some lightsabers refused any but the owner to activate them with their unique force signature. Perhaps that was the reason why it wasn't working. But then a thought arose in his mind about the issue with his mutant Midi-chlorian causing issues to learn techniques. Would they cause an issue with all lightsabers and lightsaber crystals?

Ken's frown deepened further when he thought about having to find and create a lightsaber of his own. Would he have to result to disgusting synthetic crystals matched with his mutant Midi-chlorian to have a working lightsaber?

He threw the lightsaber back onto the counter and left the room. He walked down the corridors of the station until he reached the lab room, which recorded all the experiments that Darth Magus had planned and implemented during his lifetime. Ken was planning to read through all of his experiment logs and attempt to reproduce them. He needed to at least test the limits and effects of his strange Midi-chlorian. It was not a planned result of the Alchemical Body experiment that Magus performed.

"This is where the fun begins," Ken laughed as he sank into a chair at the research terminal and began his study process.

...

In the dark caves of Dathomir, a Sith was meditating with a set of ceremonial robes. It looked like he was caught in the middle of some important sith ritual. He paused and looked up at the top of the cave.

"There's been a disturbance in the force. Disruption and rippling. Not a normal thing. Could it be as Darth Bane once foretold?" The Twilek sith said with a gravelly voice.

...

On Courasount, Jedi Temple.

"A great disturbance in the force has occurred. It seems frightened; anxious. I've never felt such feelings from it before." A human woman frowned as she discussed with her fellow Jedi.

"Indeed, something drastic must have happened. And the visions, they are so clear. Depicting a man's form so directly. " A Kel'Dor man responded.

"I should reference the archives." A Togruta man agreed.

The Jedi masters in the area swiftly left to regroup, and discuss the recent visions after a short time.

So far the plan is to make the protagonist fit the Sith'ari prophecy. Just as the Jedi have a chosen one, the Sith have the Sith'ari. The ruler above the force, the perfect being.

It does not mean he is the Sith'ari, just that others will think he is just like the Jedi thought Anakin was the Chosen One.
