———

In the city of Mustafu, Japan, inside of a one-bedroom luxury condominium, a young man who has been living there was in his bed. He had recently moved to the said city by himself with the help of his parents due to the fact he is attending UA and is taking the Entrance Exams. The alarm went off as the young man slammed his hand to turn off the alarm blare.

The boy soon got up and stretched his toned and built body as well as rubbing his onyx eyes. He was 15 years old with fair-ish skin and black hair. It was a parted 7/3 from left to right with faded sides and got up to take a shower.

After he showered, he got dressed in some black shorts, a t-shirt with a zipped up windbreaker on top. He wore glasses and looked at his phone as it said, "UA Entrance Exams start at 9:00 AM." He looked at the top left corner of his phone and saw it was 7:50 AM. He had time to eat some leftover fried rice he made and he did so before grabbing his backpack.

Sakeada Hajin was in front of his apartment building as he was walking to a bus stop. It didn't take long for the bus to come and take him to UA High. The bus-ride wasn't that long as he soon arrived at UA, he looked up at the building in amazement. He couldn't help but whistle, "Now that's a campus if I have ever seen one."

...

Hajin walked into the campus and saw the amount of students from junior high school and was astonished at the sheer number of them. Surely more than half of these applicants have to be declined, right? He simply shrugged as he walked forward, but was stopped as he accidentally bumped into someone. The said person fell down and Hajin saw whom he bumped into. He bumped into a teenage boy who had green hair and eyes to match. He wore a black middle school uniform and had red shoes.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention," Hajin said as he held out a hand.

The broccoli haired boy took the hand and was surprised by the incredible strength as he was instantly pulled up.

"It's okay..." the green-haired boy said as he wiped his uniform off any dust that was caught.

"So you're applying for UA's Hero Course?" Hajin asked.

"Uh yeah," the green-haired boy said, "though I am kind of nervous."

"It's okay," Hajin said, "just as long as you're confident in your abilities, you'll be fine."

"Thanks," the green-haired boy said. Hajin could tell that what he said helped the broccoli-head with his confidence.

"No problem," Hajin said, he soon started to walk off, "I'll see you around."

"Yeah," the broccoli said as he saw Hajin walk off.

———

Hajin walked into the auditorium and found an open seat and saw that not a lot of people were around. He must've been early so he decided to look around the room. He was impressed as he saw how nice the auditorium was. He figured that if the campus was nice, then the interior was going to be the same. After a few minutes, lights began to turn on as a lone figure was seen in front of the room. This person turned out to be a man who was tall and slender with long, spiky blonde hair and a small mustache. He wears a pair of headphones with the word "HAGE" written on the headband and a pair of sunglasses. His outfit consists of a black jacket with an upturned collar complete with studs. He sports a tan, studded shoulder pads, black pants with a red studded belt, black boots, and black fingerless gloves. His neck is completely covered by a large speaker.

'Who knew Present Mic would be here?' Hajin thought, 'is he going to be a teacher?'

"What's up, UA candidates?! Thanks for tuning into me, your school DJ," The speaker then opened Present Mic's arms with a big smile. "Come on, everyone! Let me hear you say yay!" He then cupped his ear, ready for someone to say something.

[SILENCE]

'Tough crowd...' Hajin thought.

"Keeping it mellow, huh? That's fine, I'll skip straight to the main show. Let's talk about how this practical exam works, okay?" He then pointed his fingers at everyone, "Are you ready?!"

[STILL SILENCE]

And yet again, no one said anything.

"Just as the application requires, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this," Present Mic said as the large television screen started showing seven groups, each representing a letter from A to G, "After the presentation, you'll head to the specified battle center, okay?"

Hajin looked at his card, the test location was Battle Center B. He later looked at the television screen as it showed 3-D models of several buildings.

"Alright, let's check out your targets," Present Mic got everyone's attention once more. On each corner of the screen, four robot-like shadows appeared with one having 1P, another having 2P and the third having 3P. "There are three types of faux villains in every battle center. You'll earn points based on their level of difficulty, so better choose wisely. Your goal in this trial is to use your Quirk to raise your score by shredding these faux villains like a mid-song guitar solo." Present Mic then pointed at the crowd. "But make sure you keep things heroic. Attacking other examinees is a UA will not be tolerated."

Hajin nodded and looked around and soon saw a hand raised.

"May I ask a question," a male voice asked.

"Okay!"

"You've listed four types of villains, not three. With all due respect, if this is an error on official UA materials, it is shameful. We are exemplary students. We expect the best from Japan's most notable school. A mistake such as this won't do," the candidate explained with a professional tone. Hajin looked at the candidate who made an outburst and saw that he had navy blue hair and glasses and a blazer from what looked like the Somei Private Academy.

The candidate kept talking, "In addition, you over there with the curly hair—" Hajin looked to who the candidate was pointing to and saw a green haired boy pointed to himself, as if asking if he was the problem. Hajin looked back and saw it was the broccoli head from earlier, "—You've been muttering this whole time. It's distracting! If you're here on a pleasure trip, then you should leave immediately!"

The room was filled with giggles, but Hajin thought otherwise.

'That was just unnecessary...' Hajin thought.

Present Mic replied, "Okay, okay, Examinee Number 7111. Thanks for the great message." He shot a thumbs up.

Continuing his presentation, Present Mic said, "The fourth type of villain is worth zero points. That guy's an obstacle, so to speak. There's one in every battle center: An obstacle that will go crazy in narrow spaces. It's not impossible to defeat, but there's no reason to defeat it, either."

On the screen, there was another 8-bit Present Mic, but instead of taking on the 0-point villain, he ran away from it.

"I recommend that you listeners try to avoid it."

The test candidate bowed, apologized for interrupting, and finally sat down.

Back to the Present Mic. "That's all from me! Finally, I'll give you listeners a present, our school motto! The hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said: 'A true hero is someone who overcomes life's misfortunes.' Go beyond. Plus Ultra! Now, everyone, good luck suffering!"

'Well that's a weird way of wishing us well,' Hajin thought.

———

Hajin was in front of Battle Center B, he still had his windbreaker on as it didn't make him any warmer. The looks he received were from the fact that he was quite handsome due to his Korean facial features being very prominent. He looked like he could belong to a k-pop group. But it was all outside noise being blocked with him listening to some music from his bluetooth earbuds. Soon, a hand tapped on his shoulder and he looked back.

The person who tapped on his shoulder was a teenage girl with fair skin and extremely long dark brown hair which was damn near black, it was somewhat curly and was tied into a bun. Based on her appearances, she was Asian mixed with European descent. Her height was a little around his chest-level and also had beautiful dark brown eyes. She wore a white track jacket that was zipped open to show her wearing a black sports bra and her nice figure and thin waist with black leggings that went close to her ankles.

"Sorry, but I was wondering how you're able to wear that windbreaker when it's hot outside?" she said.

"Unlike some windbreakers," Hajin said, "this one doesn't really add much other than to just stop the wind from making me cold and to keep me dry from the rain. I'm uh assuming that you're here for the Hero Course."

"Yes I am," she said, "I'm Choi Miyoung, I hope to be an international student here."

As soon as he heard the name, he figured she was Korean, but she was speaking in Japanese he wasn't sure about so he decided to try this...

"I'm Sakaeda Hajin-ieyo," Hajin said formally in Korean.

"You're Korean?!" Miyoung asked.

Hajin nodded, "My Mother is from Gangnam."

"I'm from Jung," she said, "I moved to Japan to attend UA."

"Well if you don't pass, do you have backup schools?" Hajin asked, "Because it wouldn't make sense to move out here for one school in Japan."

"Shiketsu is my failsafe incase I don't get accepted here," Miyoung said.

"Well... at least you have a backup," Hajin nodded, "Where do you live if you don't mind me asking?"

"Ichiban Heights," Miyoung transitioned to Japanese.

"That's where I live," Hajin said with surprise, "so that makes us neighbors."

"I guess so," Miyoung said, "maybe after the exams, we could walk home together."

"Sure," Hajin nodded.

He soon looked past Miyoung's shoulder and saw a familiar green-haired boy that was put on blast earlier so he went to him. The Korean girl looked to where Hajin was looking and asked, "Do you know him?"

"I accidentally bumped into him," Hajin said. He started to walk to the broccoli head with Miyoung following him.

Hajin managed to get behind the green-haired boy and gently tapped his shoulder as he said, "Excuse me—"

The green-haired boy was startled as he saw the towering man. But relieved as it was the said man.

"Oh it's you," the green-haired boy said.

"Sorry," Hajin said, "didn't mean to scare you, I just wanted to see if you were okay after what that person did during Present Mic's presentation."

"O-Oh that," the green-haired boy said, "don't worry about that. It's nothing I can't handle."

"If you say so," Hajin said. He looked to his right as he heard footsteps and saw Miyoung walking up to him, "I didn't introduce myself earlier, but I'm Sakaeda Hajin."

"I'm Choi Miyoung," the girl said.

The broccoli head was surprised as there was a Korean coming to Japan to attend UA.

"Midoriya Izuku. It's nice to meet you guys," Midoriya said, "it's nice to meet you guys. If you don't mind me asking, how do you two know each other?"

"We actually don't REALLY know each other," Hajin said, "we just met each other."

"Oh I see..." Midoriya said, "So do you guys live near here?"

"We actually found out we live at Ichiban Heights," Miyoung said, "but not in the same room."

Midoriya's eyes widened with shock. Ichiban Heights was the most expensive condominium building in all of Japan for its luxury living space and state of the art gymnasium, not to mention the distance it is from UA, "Isn't that the most expensive Penthouse in this area?!"

"Yeah, but my parents are able to afford a one bedroom apartment for me," Hajin said.

"Same here," Miyoung said, "since I'm going to go to school in Japan, my family bought me a room before I moved out from Korea."

Midoriya nodded to the information he was receiving, but the two teens saw that he was still nervous.

"Still nervous?" Miyoung asked.

Midoriya timidly nodded as he couldn't help but tell the truth, but soon Miyoung patted his shoulder, "No need to worry," Miyoung said, "Just stay calm and do your best!"

"Thanks," Midoriya said, "I wish I had your optimism."

Midoriya later looked around, but soon gasped as he saw someone. The duo looked to where Midoriya was looking and someone with brown-hair.

"You know them?" Hajin asked.

"Yeah," Midoriya said, "she actually saved me from tripping and falling over with her Quirk."

"Did you get the chance to thank her?" Hajin said, "Surely she would appreciate your gratuity."

"That's a good idea!" Midoriya said, but he was nervous as he had never talked to a girl before and Hajin seemed to notice that.

"Would you like us to come with you, for support," Miyoung asked.

"No it's okay," Midoriya said, "I'll do it myself."

He started to walk and just as he was about to talk to the brown-haired girl, someone stopped him. Hajin remembered that it was the Somei kid who made the outburst earlier and decided that he needed to stop whatever was going on. Miyoung soon started to follow as well, not wanting to be left behind.

"That girl looks like she's trying to focus on the test ahead," the Somei boy said, "What are you going to do? Distract her and ruin her chances to succeed?"

"No, no, no. Of course not! I—"

"If you had talked to her, she wouldn't be able to focus on the trial, would she?" the Somei boy sternly asked. Hajin managed to hear everything as he was approaching them.

"What's going on here?" the tall teenager asked."He was going to ruin a person's chance to succeed," the Somei boy said.

"Okay hold on," Hajin said, "first off, he wasn't trying to do anything bad. All he wanted to do was thank her for something she helped him with. Don't just assume something, that just makes you look completely ignorant."

The Somei boy started to glare at Hajin who had an expression on his face as if he was not going to back down. Hajin was taller, but the Somei boy still stood his ground, but Miyoung got in between them and gently pushed Hajin back gently.

"Hold on," Miyoung said, "now isn't the time for conflict, we have to get ready for the test."

The Somei boy huffed out in annoyance and started to walk away.

"Okay, START!"

[SILENCE]

"What's wrong? There are no countdowns in real fights! Run, run! The die has been cast, you know!"

Everyone ran for the door, but Hajin stood behind as he did a few hops to get the blood flowing and after he felt like he warmed up enough he smirked in excitement as he sprinted and did a massive leap over the other contestants. He smirked as he held his wrists out and used his middle and ring finger and pressed them along his palms to pin a web on each hand. As two web-lines stuck to a wall he pulled himself forward.

Everyone saw Hajin soaring over the air past them and stopped in shock at how fast, high, and far he was jumping.

The first robot he saw was a three point robot, did a web-strike towards the robot and tore the robot apart and used his strength to make them into two baton sticks. Later used them as weapons as he managed to destroy the robots with his faux-escrima sticks.

"Alright... let's raise some hell," Hajin said to himself as he went off to destroy robots.

The other candidates' jaws dropped at how fast he was plowing the field.

"Check that guy out."

"Hey's wrecking them like they're nothing."

Hajin did a few wall jumps as he was racking up the points. He did a spin dive to the ground from the wall and was sticking on it to see where everyone was. From a bird's eye view, he looked around and saw Miyoung destroying robots and some of the debris were flying towards him. He dodge the shrapnel and looked at her with narrowed eyes.

"Can you guys be careful where you make a mess," Hajin said. As soon as he got onto the ground, he and Miyoung started to work together to rack up points. Other test takers were amazed at the teamwork they were displaying.

"Wow..."

"They really know how to work together..."

"Do I think it's a coincidence that they are close friends that know how to work together?"

The duo ignored the comments as they kept working together to rack up points altogether.

...

After Hajin threw a robot towards Miyoung who destroyed it, the man dusted his hands after destroying the robot.

"I think we're good," Miyoung said."I think so too—"

[HEAD RING]

Hajin started to feel his spider-sense go off. He wasn't aware that he stopped talking and Miyoung spoke up.

"Sakaeda, what's going on?" Miyoung asked.

"Sorry," Hajin said, "but my spider-sense is kicking in."

[GROUND SHAKE]

Hajin felt the ground shake and he started to hear something come out of the ground. He looked behind him to see a massive robot towering him and the other test candidates. He looked around to see other students running away. The 0 point robot was rolling down and the test candidates kept running.

"We need to go," Hajin said, "there's no way we can destroy this robot without exposing ourselves."

"I think they went a little too hard with the 0 point robot," Miyoung asked.

The two were about to run, but Hajin stopped as he heard someone calling out for something. He looked back and saw a girl with brown hair that Midoriya was trying to approach earlier and Midoriya running towards the robot. He later looked at her with a new plan.

"New plan," Hajin said, "make sure no one is left behind. I'm going to save the girl and Midoriya-kun."

She nodded and ran off while Hajin ran towards Midoriya and the brown haired girl. He managed to get to the brown-haired girl first.

"Are you okay?" Hajin asked.

Hajin soon lifted the rubble up and threw it away and started to carry her. As soon as he was at a safe distance, he put her down gently.

"Stay here," Hajin said.

Hajin jumped high and started to web-swing towards Midoriya and the robot and landed on the rooftop of a building closest to Midoriya and the robot, but he stopped and perched on the wall as he saw Midoriya high in the air with his fist pulled back.

"SMASH!" With that, Midoriya landed a devastating punch to the robot's head, causing it to fall back while exploding from the inside. Every single examinee looked at Midoriya in pure shock and Hajin's eyes and mouth were wide open.

"Hoooly shit..." Hajin said in shock.

He kept looking at Midoriya, but he had a face of fear as he saw Midoriya falling down with his right arm and legs flapping along with the wind.

"NO!" Hajin screamed as he jumped off the roof he was on and did a bullet dive. He shot out a web line from his right wrist as he kept mouthing, "Come on," repeatedly. Midoriya saw Hajin diving towards him with a web line approaching him so out of instinct he used his free and unbroken hand to reach the web line. When Hajin saw Midoriya grabbing the web line, he pulled Midoriya and managed to bear hug the green-haired boy. Hajin soon shifted his body so his back could face the ground and impact him instead of Midoriya.

[BOOM]

Hajin fell with Midoriya in his arms, back first and created a mini crater. He started to get up, but his back was starting to hurt. He got out of the crater with Midoriya on his shoulder and put him on the ground gently.

"Ow..." Hajin said, "that hurt."

"Sakaeda-kun?" Midoriya looked at Hajin who nodded with a smile, but he soon heard an elderly voice and looked towards the direction where the voice originated from. He saw an elderly woman who wore a nurse uniform and knew who the hero was. Recovery Girl was approaching them and Hajin wanted to reassure Midoriya that everything will be fine.

"You'll be fine," Hajin said, "Recovery Girl is coming."

He stood up and nodded at Recovery Girl before walking away towards the exit. The entrance exams were over and people were walking over to the locker rooms so he grabbed his bag.

———

Days have passed since the test and he's been waiting for a letter from UA. At this point, he didn't care whether or not he passed, he just wanted a letter from them saying something. He managed to cook some tonkotsu ramen and was eating the said dish, but soon heard a buzz that was a notification that mail for him had arrived. After he finished his food, he went down stairs to the reception office where the mailboxes were located and saw his suite number mailbox. He used a key to unlock the letterbox and saw an envelope that contained a UA wax seal. He looked behind him and saw Miyoung walking towards the mailbox next to him.

"Hey..." he said.

"Hey," she said back.

Hajin wanted to say something, but all he could say was, "Good luck."

"Thank you, you too," she said back.

She smiled as the two went into their apartment rooms and opened their letters. Hajin was in his bedroom as he opened the envelope to show a small device and he was kind of dumbfounded with this. He sighed as he placed it on the desk.

'So much for a letter...' he thought.

He started to walk off as he was about to take a shower—

"I am here as a projection!" a masculine voice bellowed.

Hajin stopped and turned around to see All Might as a projection.

'What's this?' Hajin thought.

"This is a letter to inform you that you have passed!" All Might said, "Not only that, you have broken the record for the most points accumulated in the entrance exams with a big score of 109 points!"

The projector showed the scoreboard and Hajin was indeed first and under him was his new friend, Choi Miyoung with 101 points. But there was someone under him that Hajin wasn't familiar with whose name was Katuski Bakugou who had 77 points.

The screen transitioned to All Might as he said, "Congratulations, Sakaeda-shounen. This is... your Hero Academia!"

'Well as if flying in front of a bunch of other people didn't draw a lot of attention,' he thought, but he soon reverted his thought as he kind of attracted attention with him performing the way he did during the Entrance Exams.

Soon the message turned off and the device started to fry itself up with sparks flying out, a small self-destruction. Throughout all this time, Hajin had a face of happiness as he heard a knock on his door. He got up and ran to open it to see Miyoung.

"I GOT IN!" Miyoung said.

She soon tacked Hajin into a hug and spun her around and then put her down with the most giddy smile on his face.

"Come in," Hajin said, "this calls for a celebration."

Miyoung got inside as they made an unplanned celebration with some hot pot and some Kobe beef that Hajin gets from his parents. They ate a heaping amount of kobe beef with udon and kurobuta chashu pork belly. They all were laughing about jokes and drinking soda, not before saying this.

"Geonbae!"

———

The next day arrived with Hajin getting up and getting dressed in the UA uniform. He ate a quick plate of wok-fried udon in a homemade szechuan oil sauce and leftover kurobuta pork belly. Soon after, he left the condo and waited for Miyoung, who came out in her UA uniform.

Hajin smiled at his friend as he said, "Are we ready to go?"

She nodded as they disappeared to the bus stop and took the bus to UA. They later got off the bus and entered the campus. They all had the same class which was Class 1-A. They kept walking down the hall and saw the person the two saw had a familiar set of green hair. Midoriya was staring at the door with amazement. The green-haired boy turned to the left to see the duo walking towards him.

"Hey, buddy," Hajin said, "it seems like you made it, congratulations."

"Thank you," Midoriya said, "and thank you for saving me. I never got the chance to thank you because I was in pain and when Recovery Girl healed me, I was tired."

"Don't worry," Hajin said, "if we're going to be classmates, I would at least like to be respectful and considerate to others."

Midoriya nodded as they opened the door, but shortly after his face turned white. Hajin and Miyoung's eyes were wide as they all saw the Somei boy confronting a blonde-haired boy with red eyes.

"Take your feet off those desks!" the Somei boy said.

"Huh?" The blonde had an evil smirk on his face as he was challenging the Somei boy.

"Don't you think that's rude to the UA upperclassmen..." As the Somei boy was talking to the blonde, Hajin had a face of confusion.

'What the hell is happening?' he thought.

He later snapped out of his thoughts as he saw a bunch of heads turning towards Midoriya and the friend group. Midoriya started to get flustered while Miyoung waved a hand and Hajin did a simple nod.

"Good morning!" the Somei boy said, "I am from Somei Private Academy. My name is—"

"We heard!" Midoriya said.

"I'm Midoriya," Midoriya said, "Nice to meet you, Iida-kun."

"Midoriya-kun, you realized there was something more to that practical exam, didn't you?" Iida asked.

'What are you on about?' the teenage duo thought as they and Midoriya looked at Iida with confusion.

"I had no idea..." Iida said, "I misjudged you! I hate to admit it, but you're better than me."

The teens by the door looked back to see the brown-haired girl from the Entrance Exams.

They all went to the seats based on their peers' last names. Hajin ended up sitting in front of a boy who went by a tall boy Koda Koji and behind another tall boy named Sato Rikido and to his right sat a boy with a hawk-like face named Todoroki. Miyoung sat in front of a boy named Sero and behind a girl named Jirou. To her right is the explosive blond by the name of Bakugou and on her left was a boy with a redhead boy who went by Kirishima.

Soon a man with black long hair and pale skin who looked like he wanted to sleep stood up.

'Isn't that...' Hajin thought as he looked at the older man.

"I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shouta," the older man said, "Nice to meet you."

He dug into what seemed like a sleeping bag and took out a blue and white uniform that had red accents on it.

"It's kind of sudden," Aizawa said, "but put his one and go out onto the field."

———

"A Quirk assessment test?!" The class said together.

"What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?" Uraraka asked.

"If you're going to become a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events." The class was very clearly a bit distraught by this, but Aizawa continued. "UA's selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That's also how the teachers run their classes."

Aizawa went on.

"You kids have been doing these since junior high too, right? Physical fitness tests where you weren't allowed to use your Quirks." He pulled up a phone-looking device showing an array of different physical fitness tests, like ball throwing and standing long jumps. "The country still uses averages taken from results from students not using their Quirks. It's not rational. Well, the Ministry of Education is procrastinating."

He scanned the crowd and finally settled his eyes on Hajin.

"Sakaeda, you finished at the top of the entrance exam, right?"

All eyes were on Hajin as he ended up stepping forward and was now in front of the class.

"Yes sir."

"In junior high, what was your best result for the softball throw?"

"70 meters," Hajin said.

"Alright then kid," Aizawa said, "try doing it again, but with your Quirk this time."

He nodded and stepped up to the field, ball in hand, and let Aizawa continue explaining.

"You can do whatever you want as long as you stay in the circle," Aizawa said, "Hurry up. Give it all you've got."

"Alright," Hajin said as he took a deep breath. He did a quick toss with the ball and went for a baseball pitcher throw. He threw the ball with all his might and it ended up flying at a high speed, but not enough to break the sound barrier.

While the ball was sailing through the sky, Aizawa said, "Know your own maximum first. That is the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero," He turned to the rest of the class and pulled out a measuring device reading "928 meters."

"What's this? It looks fun!"

"We can use our Quirks as much as we want! As expected from the hero course!"

Aizawa was not in agreement with the class's overall mood. "'It looks fun,' huh..." The class stopped chirping and looked at him. "You have three years to become a hero. Will you have an attitude like that the whole time?" He smiled evilly. "All right. Whoever comes in last place in all eight tests will be judged to have no potential... and will be punished with expulsion."

The class was outraged, and for good reason. To expel someone this early in the year, when they haven't even begun hero training, seemed incredibly unfair to them.

Aizawa started again. "We're free to do what we want about the circumstances of our students." He pushed his long hair upwards, revealing a rugged, worn out face. "Welcome to UA's hero course!"

...

"Last place will be expelled?! But it's the first day of school! No, even if it wasn't the first day of school, this is too unfair!" Uraraka shouted, in protest.

Aizawa was ready to refute the argument, "Natural disasters, big accidents, and selfish villains. Calamities whose time or place can't be predicted."

The whole class listened as Aizawa continued, "Japan is covered with unfairness. Heroes are the ones who reverse those situations. If you wanted to go talk with your friends at Mickey D's after school, too bad. For the next three years. UA will do all it can to give you one hardship after another. Go beyond. Plus Ultra."

"Well if you were justifying an expulsion, you've already done so," Miyoung said.

"Tell me about it," Hajin said.

"Overcome it with all you've got," Aizawa said. "All right, demonstrations are over. The real thing starts now."

...

Next up was Miyoung and Ashido Mina. Ashido's Quirk is Acid, it allows her to produce a corrosive liquid from her body. She can control the solubility and viscosity of this corrosive liquid. There is a limit to how long she can produce the corrosive liquid until her skin gradually loses its natural resistance to it. The two got into a running position and when the signal went off, the two ran off. Miyoung managed to clear the dash in 2.89 seconds.

Bakugou and Midoriya were next. Of course, Bakugou handily won this race. He propelled himself forwards using explosions, getting a time of 4.13. For reasons unknown to the rest of the class, Midoriya did not use his Quirk to complete the 50 meter dash. He just ran normally, and got a time of 7.02.

'Why isn't he using his Quirk? Or could it be...' Hajin thought as to why Midoriya didn't use his quirk and realized that it could potentially break his bones.

Aizawa called him up to run next. Running alongside him was the guy who sat in front of him, Rikido Satou.

Hajin got into a runner's position. As the robot signaled for them to start, Hajin and Sato. Sato finished with 5.12 seconds with Hajin finishing at a time of 2.54 seconds.

The next test was pretty self-explanatory. It was to use a dynamometer to test grip strength. Of course, Quirks were permitted, so you could use your Quirk to help get a better score. Hajin overheard some talk about his classmate with six arms getting a score of 540 kilograms. He saw that Miyoung got a score of 432 kilograms. When he was called for the strength test, he squeezed the dynamometer and got a score of 512 kilograms. Next test was the standing long jump. After seeing a myriad of other students using their Quirks to completely clear the sandbox, Hajin and Miyoung did the same. Next was repeated side to side steps and the two managed to clear the test.

After that came the ball throw, except Hajin who was exempt from throwing the ball as he already threw the ball. One notable score was when Uraraka got. Upon seeing the score, the entire class said "Infinity?!" in unison.

"That's crazy! She got 'infinity'!" said Kaminari.

"I know right?!" Miyoung said.

Hajin and Miyoung looked at the ball sailing away in the air with eyes wide and mouths open.

"That was pretty amazing..." Hajin said.

When it came Midoriya's turn to throw the ball, he just kind of stood there for a bit. It looked like he was deep in thought, even though there isn't much to think about when you throw a ball.

"It doesn't look good for Midoriya if he continues like this," Iida said with crossed arms.

Bakugou, annoyed by the notion that Midoriya could wield any power, countered, "Huh?! Of course not. He's a Quirkless small fry, you know."

"Quirkless?! Are you not aware of what he did in the entrance exam?" Iida asked in disbelief.

"Huh?" It seemed like Bakugou had no idea what had happened.

"Yeah, we saw," Hajin said. Miyoung nodded in agreement to validate both Iida's and Hajin's statement.

After a bit more standing around and doing nothing, Midoriya finally decided that he was going to throw the ball. He wound up for the throw, then finally chucked the ball... although, it was a measly 46 meters. He looked at his hands in disbelief, as if something unbelievable had happened.

"I erased your Quirk." Aizawa said. The rags that were previously wrapped loosely around his neck were now floating around him mysteriously, as well as his black hair. His eyes glowed red as he spoke. "That entrance exam was definitely not rational enough. Even a kid like you was accepted."

Midoriya was shaken. "You erased my Quirk?" He gasped, noticing something about Aizawa. "Those goggles... I see! You can erase other people's Quirks with your Quirk just by looking at them. The Erasure Hero, Eraser Head!"

The class mumbled amongst themselves. Most didn't recognize the name "Eraser Head," but some kids did their research and did in fact recognize the name. Among these kids was Asui from earlier.

Hajin started to look around and soon noticed All Might, who for some reason seemed to be lurking by a corner. He disappeared almost immediately, and Hajin went back to looking at the class.

"From what I can tell, you can't control your Quirk, can you?" Aizawa, with his hands in his pockets, glared into Midoriya. "Do you intend to become incapacitated again and have someone save you?"

Midoriya was defensive. "Th-That's not my intent—"Before Midoriya could completely finish, Aizawa used his rag looking things to grab Midoriya, pulling the kid closer to him. He looked into Midoriya's eyes angrily.

The two seemed to be talking about something, probably regarding Midoriya's Quirk. It was nearly impossible to make out what they were saying from where Hajin and the others stood. All they could gather was that it was something Aizawa didn't want the whole class to hear.

Aizawa finally released Midoriya, "I've returned your Quirk. You have two turns for the ball throw. Hurry up and get it over with."

Midoriya looked very down. He stood in the circle, yet again, preparing to throw the ball. Much like last time, he stood around doing a whole lot of nothing while the rest of the class talked between each other.

Still in the circle, Midoriya was mumbling to himself. After a bit of stalling, he finally decided to make a move. He leaned forward and reeled his arm back, charging up for a powerful throw.

Hajin noticed that All Might had returned to the same corner as before, and was watching Midoriya with great interest.

Miyoung looked to where Hajin was looking, noted this, and began to think.

Nothing could immediately come to mind, so Hajin was the first to put the thought aside and focused on Midoriya with his friend following suit.

Midoriya, contrary to what I had believed, had explosive power in his throw. At the very last instance of his throw, he launched the ball with the tip of his index finger fast enough to generate ripples in the air.

Aizawa looked at the device. Midoriya called out to him.

He bit his bottom lip, probably from the excruciating pain of having a busted finger. "Sensei... I can still... move!" He made a fist with his messed up finger as he rested his uninjured hand on his forearm.

The class was shocked at Midoriya's record. Many of them seemed to be incredibly impressed at his record, which broke 700 meters. It was like they forgot everybody else who had higher scores.

"Finally, a hero-like record!" said the brown haired girl, hands in the air.

Hajin and Miyoung were just looking at Midoriya's finger with genuine concern.

Iida stroked his chin, "His finger's swollen! There was the entrance exam, too. He has a strange Quirk."

"It's not very stylish," Aoyama remarked.

While the rest of the class seemed more or less impressed, yet calm, Bakugou was absolutely shitting himself. He couldn't believe it. His eyes were wide open, and his jaw had pretty much hit the ground. Hajin saw that and knew something was going on between those two.

Bakugou's shock didn't last for long."What's the meaning of this?!" Bakugou demanded as he made a beeline for Midoriya. "HEY! TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON, DEKU, YOU BASTARD!"

Upon hearing "Deku", for a split second, Hajin looked at Midoriya who clearly had no intention to fight back and just stood there, frightened.

"Don't you dare, kisama..."

As Bakugou was approaching Midoriya, he felt something on his back and was all of a sudden pulled back as he was in an uncomfortable position in which he felt his arms being pulled. Everyone looked at Hajin who shot a web line and pulled Bakugou into a position as he felt his arms being pulled and a foot pressing against his back.

"I would rather not hurt people," Hajin said.

His grip on Bakugou's wrists were now starting to get tighter as if he was going to crush his bones.

"But if someone is going to go at someone as if they're going to murder them, then maybe I will," Hajin said in a dark tone.

Hajin soon pressed his foot against Bakugou's back as if he was going to rip them off.

"Let... me... go..." Bakugou said as he felt his arms starting to stretch it was to the point where it could now be ripped off.

"Hard pass," Hajin said. His eyes narrowed as Bakugou started to grit his teeth in pain at the fact he knew his arms were going to now be ripped off. Miyoung saw Hajin's not willing to let go so she approached him.

"Let him go," Miyoung said, "he's not worth it."

Hajin let go and walked away, before Bakugou could approach Midoriya, Aizawa stepped in.

"You should stop before HE comes back to do something worse," Aizawa said, referring to Hajin.

Bakugou clicked his tongue as Midoriya ran to his friends. He looked at Midoriya with a quiet rage as he thought of someone he could squash. But it didn't last long as they all moved on to the physical tests such as the sit-ups, toe touch, and the long distance run.

After they did all the tests, they all surrounded Aizawa.

"Alright, I'll quickly tell you the results," Aizawa said, "the total is simply the marks you got from each test. It's a waste of time to explain verbally so I'll show you the results all at once."

He took out a device and pressed a button to show the test results:

Hajin and his friend saw that they were all in the top two and were noted to be tied. Good, they will not be expelled, but Midoriya... was a different story. Hajin felt bad, but it is what it is and he was wishing Midoriya well.

"By the way, I was lying about the expulsion," Aizawa said.

Almost everyone gave the teacher a blank stare as he explained himself.

"It was a rational deception to draw out the upper limits of your Quirks," Aizawa explained.

They all exclaimed with shock as a young girl started to chime in.

"Of course it was a lie," she said, "it should have been obvious if you just thought it through."

"I beg to differ," Hajin said, "I think he decided to not expel anyone at the last minute. I did some research, and he expelled a group of students last school year."

The girl got caught up and just nodded in understanding.

"With that, we're done here," Aizawa said, "there are handouts with the curriculum and such in the classroom so when you get back, look over them."

Hajin was sitting outside in the patio of his apartment and looked out to the view of Mustafu and saw the tower of UA High.

He later looked at his hands and simply sighed.

'When will they confront me about my powers?' he thought.

"You seemed to be lost in thought," a female voice said.

Hajin knew the voice due to her speaking in Korean and looked to his left. He saw Miyoung standing outside on her patio next door. The two made eye contact and she was the first to smile.

"You seem preoccupied," Miyoung said, "what's going on?"

"I uhh," Hajin was kind of lost, "don't know... I've wanted to go to UA as a dream and I've accomplished that and now I just feel..."

He was motioning his hands as if he was trying to find the correct word to describe his feeling.

"Unsatisfied?"

Hajin nodded, "Yeah, unsatisfied."

"Well if it's any consolation, I've been feeling the same way," Miyoung said, "perhaps a new goal for you could be the best hero you could be."

"The best hero I can be..." Hajin nodded to the notion, "maybe I can work with that, thanks for that."

"That's what friends are for," Miyoung said, "well I have to get to bed, tomorrow is apparently going to be a big day."

"Good night," Hajin said.

She said good night back as he went into his condo and went to bed, now with a new goal, to be the best hero he can be. He chuckled as he closed his eyes and went to sleep.
