This is my first fan-fiction attempt, have mercy on me. - A/N
New York City, the Big Apple, Broadway, one of many cities currently in the States' which you're able to get lost in the maze of buildings in a matter of seconds, you've most definitely seen and or heard of it many times.
The most impressive of such being the villains, thugs, and most importantly the homeless people, New York City! The place to be alive! In other words, ever since the quirk awakening of the 22nd century, shortly after the conclusion of the Third World War things have turned to shit within the United States.
Meanwhile, Japan has been seen as the main "police" force throughout the world with their hero schools being famous or infamous depending on who you ask. America has little to no heroes at all; the main hero they do have is "Stars and Stripes" and she mainly occupies in the west coast the safer part of the States.

Suddenly, a shockwave erupts the streets of New York City, a common occurrence sure but not usually around this time so it scares one or two people. Paper flies throughout the air as a truck comes crashing down and tips over in a screeching halt. People look up from their phones, and quickly glance before continuing walking about their daily lives.
A masked man wearing a mix of yellow and red, with circular metal objects around his forearm with a brown jacket punches his fists together as a circular shockwave comes out in front of him and he quickly exclaims "Think you make enough an hour to take another hit of that?" he pauses thinking about what to say to the two people laying on the ground in front of him and he then continues "Put it in the bag, and make it quick".
The guard's eyes widen as he quickly exclaims in a state of panic "P-please don't hurt me I don't have a wife and family, please just take what you want". The man in the jumpsuit snorts a little at the first part, before continuing "No, I want you to crawl over and hand it to me". Wind blows between the two for a brief second as the guard looks like he'll genuinely shit himself.
Out of nowhere an unknown individual appears and exclaims while perched upon the top of a lamp post and says "Wow! That's kinky!" and then webs Shcoker's shoulders as he launches himself forward and gives the villain a sucker punch in the face knocking him down in a singular hit. The unknown individual glances down at the gadgets on the villains forearm and exclaims in astonishment, "Wow, what's your villain name? We gotta talk about science some time!" The villain than responds with a muffled voice "Shocker, jackass" The hero than quips "Wow I'm Shocked, I thought it would be 'Sonic' or something along those lines"
The hero than webs the now dubbed 'Shocker' to the street and proceeds to asks the guards for a pen or paper than suddenly the panicked guard from earlier responds, "J-just take what you want!" The hero then squints as his mask follows his expression and then jumps in the air and his two middle fingers press the middle of his hands as a strange fluid shoots out and hits a nearby window. The man then exclaims "Just tell the cops, Spider-Man stopped this! And also that won't sit well with my conscience!" The masked hero then swings off in the air as everything fades to black.

Quirks, ever since their discovery in the 22nd century, the population of "Super-people" had grown exponentially to around 80% of the world's current population with a large majority residing within the United States.
For most, it didn't matter whether you had a "quirk" or the more appropriate term in the states' being either "Mutant" or "X-gene" it had just mattered whether you had a heart of a hero or not. "Hero Licenses" were created to combat the ever growing crime wave which had washed over the world shortly after the collapse of society.
As such, the concept of "Pro-Heroes" were created along with this concept, instead of being handpicked, like the first superhero team the "Fantastic Four", you were able to be educated and learn how to use precautionary measures to save people. These are called "Hero Schools" and we're created to be able to build a strong future generation.
Just like Yin and Yang foretold, there will always be darkness to balance out the light. However, in most cases it's commonplace for it to be a blur. Vigilantes are this blur, and they operate without using a "hero license", and are mostly hunted down by pros or other authority figures present.
For others, the thought of being able to artificially create a "quirk" was seen as a gold mine. The American government under the "Colson Administration", had passed the "Super-Soldier Act" which would essentially allow government supported businesses to be able to study and potentially recreate the "magic of quirks".
This is where the second biggest company known as "Oscorp" would come in being initially founded in the 22nd century and not seeing minimal progress up until this act. Oscorp has surprisingly started to become a competition to the larger conglomerate of "Stark Tech" a company far older than Oscorp being founded in the late 1930s by Howard A. Stark. Oscorp today is renowned for its rejuvenation of the phone and other electrical devices as that market hadn't been in the best place.

Deep in an unspecified building, multiple scientists perform their daily tasks, and two men are in a room where one person can be seen with a spider on his glove which he's wearing, a smirk can be seen as he asks the man a question. "Are you a fan of Greek mythology Carter?" The man quickly looks at the other scientists in confusion before responding "No, sir I couldn't tell you any of their names".
Another brief pause happens, as ominous music plays in the background the man then continues "Ever heard of Arachne?" Carter takes a moment to think, trying to recall any potential memories, before responding with, "Can't say I have Mr.Osborn".
The Scientist now known as Osborn, stares at the spider grasping in all of its intricacies, before eventually continuing with "The story goes, that Athena, seems she heard of this woman on Earth a normal mortal just like you and me Carter – who happened to be a better spinstress than she was." Carter then comments in confusion with a concerned look on his face staring at the spider he probably disliked arachnids "Spinstress?"
Osborn then continues, "Athena hadn't been too happy to find out someone was better than her, she came down and then proceeded to destroy the woman's creations", Carter then responds staring at the spider still, "Sounds like a woman". Norman then continues with a smirk, "When this mortal girl had seen what had happened to her creations, she thought she had insulted the gods – she hanged herself."
Norman would then gently rub the spider's head with his index finger while continuing his tale "Athena would take pity on this poor girl, and would after some locating of her touch her on the forehead with a magic liquid of sorts and said", he takes a pause while rubbing the spiders head gently, and then continues, "You shall not die Arachne instead you shall be transformed and weave your web forever".
His eyes scrunch a little and continues "At Athena's word's Arachne shrank and blackened and slowly but surely she had transformed leaving what was left of her body to spin for all eternity" Osborn finishes his nighttime story, suddenly distant sounds of walking can be heard as the duo are interrupted by a female voice informing Osborn, "Mr.Osborn, your lawyer is on the cell phone, says it's important."
Osborn looks annoyed before grabbing the phone and exclaiming to the caller "I told you I don't want to be bothered while I'm in my lab. Inform him that there's no space for negotiation, What? Tell him I said no" Osborn then pauses listening to the speaker before exclaiming, "NO! Now since you disturbed me, let me disturb you." Norman then gives Carter the spider that was previously on top of his glove.
Norman continues to rant on and on, and Carter is left horrified at the precious spider on his hands. Norman then leaves while holding the phone to his ear continuing to rant as Carter looks down wide eyed and sweat pouring down his face.
Carter then hurriedly chucks it in some sort of container with a panicked expression on his face, as Norman talks about with a raised finger that if he could get away with human subjects at this stage, he would. Carter then looks even more scared than before, as the container begins to clank and moves slightly. Not wanting to see what happens, Carter hurriedly catches up with Osborn who is still on the phone. The container is shown and is apparently empty with no spider in sight.

"Welcome" a woman's voice can be heard while the Oscorp headquarters is shown with a sign that reads 'Since 2120', the woman then continues "Since the earlier 22nd century, Oscorp Industries has been fully dedicated to providing innovative materials manufacturing, construction, automotive, chemical, processing, and many other global industries. We are a leading global manufacturer Oscorp operates around 110 separate manufacturing and research facilities world wide" The blond haired woman says with a tinge of pride, while a boy with brown hair, and glasses walking with his class looks down in amazement.
This boy is Peter B. Parker, Midtown Central's One and Only Nerd. He had been excited for around a month now, ever since his school had announced the trip, he had fantasized about the prospects which could potentially come out of the trip. Peter hears the instructor voice echo in the background as he stares at the spectacle view, or at least spectacle for him.
Peter continues to walk with a smile plastered across his face, before he briefly feels something on his hand before, "AGGGGGHHH" he got bit by something! It's a spider by the looks of it with two yellow circles on it, Peter screams again and flings the spider of his bare hand.
A woman can be heard in the background as she screams "Oh my god! Oh my god!" This is because the spider had landed on her before falling off and being crushed by someone's foot who Peter knows as "Khoung".
Peter falls on the ground as someone comments about him being a spaz, as he barely holds himself up before throwing up. Peter's vision becomes blurry as blackness begins to cloud his vision as three people surround him with someone exclaiming "Alright class, let's get into a single file line!" before his vision turns to dark.
