Timeline •----: [Chapter 3]

As Monster kid join other children both monsters and humans for some NICE CREAM from the Nice cream guy until Asriel paused at staring at Sans. Awkwardly approaching his hotdog stall as he whispered "What are you doing here? Plus , ummm…you sort of knew how I got revived right?"

Sans, casually munching on a hotdog, responded with his trademark grin, "Eh, just thought I'd spice things up a bit. And yeah, I caught the rerun of the whole revival show. Kid, you've got more lives than a cat. Impressive stuff."

Asriel, still feeling a bit uneasy, asked, "So, you're not bothered by it? I mean, the whole soul-sharing thing?"

Sans chuckled, "Nah, seen weirder stuff. Besides, the more the merrier, right? Just hope you didn't bring back any weird company with you."

Asriel smirked, "Well, you know how it goes. One day you're a flower, the next you're the talk of the town."

Sans shrugged, "Town's gotta talk about something. Anyway, enough about me. You gonna stand there, or are you gonna grab a hotdog? It's on the house."

Asriel chuckled, the tension easing, "Alright, Sans. I'll take you up on that offer." The two continued their casual conversation, amidst the laughter and chatter of the monster and human kids enjoying their Nice Cream and hotdogs.

Then Sans teleport by the corner of Asriel's eye casually munching a hotdog as he commented "Say kid , wanna take a seat? I don't like standin'round for my Lazy bones…"

Asriel chuckled at Sans's invitation, realizing that, despite everything, some things never change. "Sure, why not? Might as well enjoy the hotdog with some good company." They found a nearby bench, and as they sat, Sans continued to nonchalantly snack on his hotdog, adding, "So, how's it feel to be the big shot ambassador now, huh?"

Asriel smirked, "Well, it's different, that's for sure. But I'm getting used to it. Mom and Dad seem proud, and the monsters are adjusting to the surface faster than I expected."

Sans grinned, "Heh, not bad for a goat prince. I guess your dream of breaking the barrier worked out, huh?"

Asriel nodded, "Yeah, it did. But, Sans, seriously, why are you here? I thought you'd stick to the shortcuts and napping."

Sans winked, "Well, sometimes even a skeleton needs a change of scenery. Plus, free hotdogs ain't too shabby."

They both laughed, the camaraderie between them as comfortable as ever, a testament to the enduring friendships that transcended timelines.

As they eat , Sans got a bit serious judging by his tone and whispers while munching the hotdog with black eye sockets empty of his skull "Still…didn't EXPECT the talking FLOWER my younger brother befriended ended up this much..the only child and Royal heir of the Royal monster family slowly revived..yet incomplete ahem…I am aware of your schemes..more like the kid's (Frisk)…Ya know…Their human body…and despite that first fallen human (Chara) I assume is your Best friend.."

Asriel gulped for he munched his own hotdog. While Sans burped a bit finishing his hotdog to continue with a reassuring smile and the white light of his eye sockets returned as he said "Point is…the other human body is merely a skeleton mix with I assume is the human's version of dust… while the one by the kid Frisk I assume…is still healthy….Alphys and I secretly work our BACK-bones off ti even manage to transfer them to a modified set of modules to be sealed and managed until we figure out the SOLUTION as you seem not great with communicating with humans.."

Asriel, nodding thoughtfully, replied, "You've been busy, huh? I appreciate you and Alphys working on this. It's strange, though, having my body pieced together like this. Feels like I'm part machine."

Sans grinned, "Yeah, well, it's a bit Frankenstein-ish, but we're working with what we've got. Besides, better to be part machine than a bunch of scattered flower petals, right?"

Asriel chuckled, "True enough. But what about the other human, Chara? You said their body is a mix with... dust?"

Sans scratched his skull, "Yeah, a bit of an experiment. We're trying to stabilize it. Chara's always been a bit of a wildcard, huh?"

Asriel sighed, "That's an understatement. But thanks, Sans. For looking out for us. I guess being the ambassador and part-time scientist isn't all that bad."

Sans winked, "Well, someone's gotta keep an eye on you, kid. Now, let's finish these hotdogs before they get cold. Gotta keep up my energy, you know?"

They continued to enjoy their hotdogs, the conversation shifting to lighter topics, a blend of the familiar and the new, as the sun set on the surface world.

Asriel giggled as Monster kid afar eating ice cream thanks to some other friends as he sighs "So you FORGIVE me Sans? About me used to be the soulless flower Flowey…now me being an Ambassador and resurrected prince as once before I pondered….maybe sooner or later I can understand why Frisk and all the other humans fallen underground.."

Sans, leaning back on the bench, looked at Asriel with a half-smile. "Forgive? Kid, we all got our pasts. Besides, you're not the first one to do something regrettable. We're all trying to find our way, right?"

Asriel nodded, "Yeah, I guess. It's just weird, you know? Flowey feels like a different lifetime, yet it's a part of me."

Sans added, "We all got our darker sides. The important thing is what you do with 'em. You're making amends, trying to build a future. That's what matters."

Asriel smiled, "Thanks, Sans. It means a lot coming from you."

Sans chuckled, "Heh, don't get too sappy on me, kid. We got a surface to explore, hotdogs to eat, and who knows what else awaits."

Asriel laughed, the weight of past mistakes lightening, and they continued to enjoy their hotdogs, savoring the present moment in the ever-shifting landscape of timelines.

As they finished , they almost jump when they heard rattling bones and a voice saying "Nyehehhe look who we have here!!!!"

Sans, with his typical lazy grin, greeted Papyrus, who was approaching with his usual energy. "Hey, bro. Just enjoying some hotdogs with the big shot ambassador here."

Papyrus beamed, "AH, THE AMBASSADOR! HOW DELIGHTFUL! I KNEW TODAY WOULD BE A DAY OF GREAT IMPORTANCE! AND SANS, YOU DIDN'T SHARE THE NEWS SOONER?!"

Sans shrugged, "Eh, thought I'd let the kid have his moment. So, what's the special occasion, Papyrus?"

Papyrus dramatically pointed to Asriel, "TODAY IS THE DAY OUR PRINCE RETURNED, AND WE SHOULD CELEBRATE! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, HAVE EVEN PREPARED SPAGHETTI IN HONOR OF THIS GLORIOUS EVENT!"

Asriel chuckled, "Spaghetti sounds great. Thanks, Papyrus."

Papyrus struck a pose, "IT IS MY DUTY AS A MASTER CHEF TO PROVIDE DELICIOUS FOOD FOR SUCH MOMENTS! LET'S HEAD BACK TO THE HOUSE FOR A GRAND CELEBRATION!"

Sans, Asriel, and Papyrus made their way back, ready to share the news with Toriel, Undyne, and the rest of the gang, marking another chapter in the ever-evolving tale of SOULSHIFT.

Monster kid finished his nice cream and followed "Hey Papyrus Dude!!!! So cool!!! Can I come!!! I am the friend of our ambassador here.."

Papyrus, thrilled by the idea of expanding the celebration, declared, "OF COURSE! ALL FRIENDS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THE GRAND FEAST IN HONOR OF OUR PRINCE'S RETURN! THE MORE, THE MERRIER!"

Monster Kid cheered, "Awesome! Lead the way, Great Papyrus!"

Then as they walk together , Papyrus let the kids go in ahead of the shared skeleton brothers' household nearby they had in the surface (although some items are still not unboxed) as he turn to Sans with a smile "Say Sans…something did got me thinking , you think 'Frisk' can return to us while the prince the underground once treasured return?"

Sans, hands in his pockets, looked at Papyrus thoughtfully. "You mean, Frisk and Chara coming back? Well, technically, the kid's soul is part of Asriel now. It's a bit complicated. As for Chara, they're... well, still figuring things out. Souls are funny that way, bro."

Papyrus tilted his head, "OH, I SEE. THE INTRICACIES OF SOULS AND TIME TRAVEL ARE QUITE THE PUZZLE. BUT I HAVE FAITH THAT OUR AMBASSADOR CAN BRING EVERYONE TOGETHER, NYEH HEH HEH!"

Sans grinned, "You've always had a knack for seeing the big picture, Papyrus. Let's leave the complicated stuff for now and enjoy the feast. After all, it's not every day we get a celebration like this."

Papyrus nodded, "EXACTLY! TODAY IS A DAY OF JOY AND TOGETHERNESS! NOW, LET'S JOIN THE CELEBRATION!"

The two skeletons followed the laughter and chatter, ready to embrace the warmth of shared moments in this new chapter of SOULSHIFT.

Sans nudges him "PURR-tty perfect bro..Let's see if your comedy is still as good as mine or surpass it.." casually use comb to play pretend he comb his non existent hair of his skull

Papyrus, catching onto the playful gesture, joined in with his usual flair. "NYEH HEH HEH! THE GREAT PAPYRUS IS ALWAYS READY TO ENTERTAIN! BEHOLD, AS I UNLEASH MY INCREDIBLE COMEDIC SKILLS!"

As they approached the gathering, Papyrus launched into a series of skeleton-themed jokes, each pun accompanied by his trademark enthusiasm. Sans, not one to be outdone, chimed in with his own dry humor and clever wordplay.

Their impromptu comedy routine drew laughter from the assembled friends, creating an atmosphere of joy and lightheartedness. The celebration continued, with Papyrus and Sans showcasing that even in the midst of shifting timelines, their comedic chemistry remained a constant source of entertainment in SOULSHIFT.

Asriel and Monster Kid chuckles as Undyne was just there happily taking the first taste of the spaghetti while Alphys spoke "Woah Papyrus…you did incredibly well with making this your latest culinary work…very edible no…TA-tasty.."

Papyrus, beaming with pride, responded to Alphys, "OF COURSE! THE GREAT PAPYRUS NEVER DISAPPOINTS IN THE KITCHEN! ENJOY TO YOUR HEART'S CONTENT, MY FRIENDS!"

Undyne, with a mouthful of spaghetti, gave a thumbs-up. "Papyrus, this is amazing! The taste is as explosive as your enthusiasm!"

Sans, taking a bite, added, "Yeah, bro, you really nailed it. This is some top-tier stuff."

Papyrus, taking a bow, declared, "I THANK YOU ALL FOR APPRECIATING MY CULINARY MASTERPIECE! LET THE FEAST CONTINUE, FOR TODAY MARKS A MOMENTOUS OCCASION!"

The celebration unfolded, filled with laughter, delicious food, and the warmth of friendship.

Before he got a softer voice and sighs as he turn to Asriel "Say Prince..Asriel…how does it feel returning after a prolong ahem (can't be rude and mention he used to be dead) absence and your parents faring-monsters' supposed rulers?" [ take note Asgore and Toriel not present in this house of the skeleton brothers. Yet Papyrus was asking this query to Asriel]

Asriel, reflecting on the question, smiled warmly. "It's... a bit overwhelming, Papyrus. Being back here, seeing everyone, it's like a dream come true. And my parents..." He paused, a hint of nostalgia in his eyes. "They're adjusting, I think. It's a lot to take in, but they're glad to have me back. We're all still figuring things out, but it feels good to be home, you know?"

Papyrus nodded understandingly, "YES, I CAN IMAGINE IT'S QUITE A CHANGE. BUT FEAR NOT, AS THE GREAT PAPYRUS, I AM HERE TO MAKE EVERY TRANSITION SMOOTH AND FULL OF FUN! YOU'VE RETURNED TO A WORLD OF FRIENDSHIP AND SPAGHETTI, AFTER ALL!"

Asriel chuckled, "Thanks, Papyrus. Your positivity is infectious. I'm grateful to have friends like you."

Undyne then beams "Say is it true…if you don't mind your former highness Prince I mean-Ambassador…" scratch head with a sharklike teeth grin "was it true in your time of the past…the first fallen human isn't evil and was your best friend?"

Asriel, touched by the curiosity, nodded with a sincere smile. "Yeah, Undyne. The first fallen human, Chara, wasn't evil. They were my best friend. We shared a lot of memories together. It's a bit complicated, but they played a big role in helping me remember who I am."

Undyne's expression softened, and she gave a hearty laugh. "Well, well! That's a twist! The legendary Frisk and Chara, best buddies with the prince here. Guess legends can be full of surprises!"

Sans, with his characteristic grin, casually remarked, "Well, kid, even in this world, your story's got its share of twists and turns. Keeps things interesting, ya know?"

Asriel nodded , then Monster kid jumps with joy of the spaghetti meal "I want seconds please!!!"

Papyrus, thrilled by Monster Kid's enthusiasm, declared, "MORE SPAGHETTI FOR MY ENTHUSIASTIC FRIEND! YOUR WISH IS THE GREAT PAPYRUS'S COMMAND!" With a flair, he started serving seconds, ensuring that the joyful atmosphere continued.

Next , as time progressed. Sans was busy making slight flirty talk jokes with Toriel on the Cellphone to reassure Asriel is fine and request permission to have a sleepover to the skeleton brothers' house for a few days. While letting Undyne or the dremurr couple be substitute ambassadors for him as he is a child

Sans, with his trademark laid-back tone, spoke into the phone, "Hey Tori, just checkin' in to let you know the kiddo's doing great. Asriel's adjusting like a champ, and speaking of champs, how 'bout a sleepover at our place for a few days? Kid needs a break from all the royal responsibilities, ya know? Plus, Papyrus is cookin' up some killer spaghetti. What do you say?"

On the other end, Toriel's voice sounded both amused and affectionate. "Sans, you and your spaghetti offers. Well, if Asriel wants a break and Papyrus promises not to overdo it with his 'culinary expertise,' then a short sleepover sounds fine. But make sure they don't stay up too late!"

Sans chuckled, "You got it, Tori. We'll keep it low-key. See ya soon."

Papyrus and Asriel peek at Sans as it's afternoon , Undyne and Monster kid already left except Alphys still busy on her laptop at the corner and awaiting time to chat with Sans. Asriel ask "So Sans..what did Mom say?"

Sans, flashing his signature grin, replied to Asriel's inquiry, "Well, kiddo, looks like you're in for a sleepover treat. Tori's cool with it. Just gotta make sure Papyrus doesn't turn the kitchen into a spaghetti battlefield, and we're all set."

Papyrus, overhearing, protested, "I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, CAN CONTROL MY CULINARY CREATIVITY, SANS!"

Sans chuckled, "Sure thing, bro. As long as 'culinary creativity' doesn't involve spaghetti on the ceiling."

They chuckle as Papyrus said "Nyehhehe!!! I shall present the prince himself which sleepover he prefer no…maybe my room shared with him is best than yours Sans…"

Sans chuckled, "Sure thing, bro. Prince, what's your preference? The Great Papyrus's royal suite or my cozy corner? Either way, we've got the best accommodations in town."

Asriel, amused by the good-natured banter, replied, "Well, Papyrus, your room sounds intriguing. Let's give it a try."

Papyrus beamed with pride, exclaiming, "EXCELLENT CHOICE! THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL MAKE SURE YOU FEEL RIGHT AT HOME IN MY ROYAL SUITE!"

Sans winks "You feel like a kid again in his bedroom welcome.."

As Asriel entered Papyrus's room with Sans's playful comment, he couldn't help but smile. The room was adorned with Papyrus's signature flair—colorful decorations, a neatly made bed, and a sense of warmth that made it clear this was a place of genuine hospitality.

Sans, leaning against the doorway, added with a grin, "And if you need anything, just give us a shout. Papyrus is THE expert in making guests feel comfy."

The night in the royal suite of the skeleton brothers' house promised a mix of fun, laughter, and perhaps a touch of the unexpected in this chapter of SOULSHIFT.

Asriel chuckle "Okay..say Papyrus why did your bed look like a race car?"

Papyrus, with a gleam in his eye, proudly explained, "AH, YOU'VE NOTICED! MY BED IS NO ORDINARY BED. IT'S THE GRAND PAPYRUS RACER 3000! SLEEPING IN IT IS LIKE ZOOMING THROUGH DREAMLAND AT MAXIMUM SPEED!"

Asriel laughed, appreciating the creativity. "That's awesome! I've never had a bed like this."

Sans, chiming in, remarked, "Buckle up, prince. Dreams here are a wild ride."

Before Sans stretch a yawn "anyways you two can hangout a bit I shall have a short chat with the Royal scientist…"

As Sans left the room with a casual wave, Asriel turned to Papyrus. "So, Papyrus, what do you usually do for fun around here?"

Papyrus, excitedly, listed off a series of activities ranging from spaghetti cooking competitions to elaborate puzzles. "AND, OF COURSE, WE CAN'T FORGET MY FAVORITE—THE GREAT PAPYRUS MOVIE NIGHT! PERHAPS YOU CAN JOIN ME IN PICKING OUT THE NEXT FILM FOR OUR GRAND CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE!"

As Asriel settled into the dynamic energy of the skeleton brothers' home, he realized that this night held the promise of newfound friendships and shared adventures.

Asriel blushed a bit as he uttered "movie …wait what sort of movies? Not something from the trash underground right?"

Papyrus laughed heartily. "NO, NO! OUR MOVIE SELECTION IS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY! CLASSICS, ADVENTURES, AND, OF COURSE, THE OCCASIONAL COMEDY. NOTHING BUT THE BEST FOR THE GRAND PAPYRUS MOVIE NIGHT!"

As Papyrus continued enthusiastically listing movie genres, Asriel felt a sense of warmth and acceptance in this unconventional, yet endearing, household 1

Meanwhile , Sans teleport casually to a gasping Alphys before she sighs. Sans uttered curiously "So..figure out how human bodies differ from monsters? Despite the lack of magic..their soul and traits are quite powerful.."

Alphys nodded, adjusting her glasses nervously. "Y-yes, Sans. I've been analyzing the data, and it's fascinating. The resilience of human souls is incredible, and their traits seem to hold a unique energy. Frisk and Chara's presence, combined with those six other human souls, create a synergy that I'm still trying to comprehend."

Sans leaned against the wall, his trademark grin in place. "Well, good luck with that, Alph. Humans can be a real puzzle, huh?"

Alphys chuckled, "You have no idea." The two continued their conversation, delving into the mysteries of human physiology and the implications for the delicate balance they were trying to maintain.

Sans then got serious with a sigh "Say Alph…I use all the tools or things I can try to do to help yet…your hopeful that after all your past…you can revive Frisk and Chara base on their soulless human bodies as vessels?"

Alphys nodded earnestly. "I know it sounds ambitious, Sans, but if we could bring them back without resorting to amalgamates, it would be groundbreaking. Frisk and Chara deserve a chance at a normal life, and I'm determined to make it happen."

Sans gave her a thoughtful look. "Determination, huh? Well, keep at it, Alph. I've got a feeling you'll crack this puzzle sooner or later."

Alphys smiled appreciatively. "Thanks, Sans. Your support means a lot."

As they continued their conversation, Sans shared a few more puns, lightening the mood and providing Alphys with a bit of distraction from her complex scientific endeavors.

Alphys blushed slightly but grinned. "It's going swimmingly, Sans. Undyne's been a great support through all this research. We're taking it one step at a time."

Sans chuckled. "Good to hear, Alph. If you need a wingman—or rather, a skeleton man—just give me a ring, or in your case, a beep."

They both laughed, sharing a moment of camaraderie amidst the complexities of their work and personal lives.

Alphys sighs as she blush gazing at Sans "Say hmm…I wonder how you are very close to the Ex-Queen Toriel Dremurr or just Toriel now looking back….because well erm…tell me if I am wrong there is more than just 'befriending' her right?"

Sans smirked, his eye sockets gleaming. "Alph, you're reading too much into it. Tori and I go way back, and our friendship's stayed pretty... platonic. She's like family, ya know? Just pals."

Alphys raised an eyebrow, a skeptical look on her face. "Hmm, if you say so, Sans. It's just, um, your way of speaking, the inside jokes... It's, uh, interesting."

Sans chuckled. "Yeah, well, that's just how it is when you've known someone for a long time. Friends, Alph. Just friends."

Then he had a bluish blush "Besides.." as he hide his expression with his white hoodie part of his blue jacket "A lazy skeleton like me can't be part of an old lady that is recently just happy seeing her kid back again…despite still rocky with her ex-goat man…"

Alphys grinned, playfully nudging Sans. "Well, who knows, Sans? Maybe you're just waiting for the right moment to make a move. I mean, it's not like you're a stranger to those time-related shenanigans, right?"

Sans winked. "Alph, you really think I'm that... ambitious? Nah, I'm just enjoying the show – life's a joke, after all."

Alphys laughed. "You always find a way to lighten the mood, Sans."

Sans smirked. "That's what I'm here for, Alph. Now, back to the sciencey stuff. Any progress on the revival project?"

Alphys nodded, refocusing on her laptop. "Right, Sans. Let me fill you in on the details."

Sans gaze and waited her response as she fix her glasses before clearing her throat to reply

"Sans, it's not as easy as making a shortcut through a timeline," Alphys began. "Reviving Frisk and Chara is a complex task. The injection of determination into a vessel is the tricky part. Unlike monsters, human bodies reject determination, and creating a stable vessel is challenging. It's a work in progress."

Sans nodded. "Well, you know me, always curious about the science stuff. Just don't overdo it, Alph. We've seen enough trouble in our days."

Alphys smiled, appreciating the concern. "Don't worry, Sans. I'm being cautious. Now, if you have any more jokes or puns to share, feel free to lighten the mood again."

Sans grinned. "Sure thing, Alph. I've got a whole bag of jokes ready to go – like a pocket full of sunshine, you know?"

She giggles as she added "Like we agreed on…human souls had stronger souls than monster but weaker magic…so injecting determination shall be just the right amount..not an overdose to wait for an effect…so in the end , Asriel is proof is possible for a balance…as Human bodies have more physical value than monsters thats why despite their death their bodies doesn't decompose easily….."

"Balancing the determination injection sounds like a delicate dance," Sans remarked. "But if Asriel's doing fine, you're onto something. Just remember, it's not only about science; emotions play a part too. These kids mean a lot to us."

Alphys nodded. "Exactly, Sans. The emotional aspect is vital. Now, let's get back to work. I've got a few more adjustments to make."

Sans gave her a casual salute. "You got it, Alph. Don't hesitate to call if you need a shortcut to solving any problems."

With a wink, he teleported back to Asriel's place, ready for some movie night antics with the skeleton brothers and the resurrected prince.

Alphys sighed and Returned to her own home before almost jump feeling whispers of the amalgamate of memory head uttering things of wind dings language that can translate to - I am everywhere in pieces as I watch , take care and make sure not to give any cracks.

As Alphys heard the cryptic whispers, she couldn't shake off the feeling of Gaster's presence scattered across timelines. She muttered to herself, "Pieces of Gaster, still watching over... Wonder how to truly put everything back together."

She then focused on her work, determined to unravel the mysteries and bring back Frisk and Chara in their complete forms.

Meanwhile , Sans notice Papyrus and Asriel watching the movie called Peter Pan , a film sold by a near video store from humans as Papyrus says giddily "Ohh you SILLY bones looksie here!!! Isn't it amazing? Humans had their more less scary monsters that is from the stars.."

Sans chuckled, "Yeah, kid, that's a classic. Never gets old. It's like... the surface version of our underground adventures, but with less spaghetti and more flying boys in green tights."

Asriel, with wide-eyed fascination, nodded along, enchanted by the surface's take on fantastical stories.

Papyrus headtilt "Say Sans since you more of a bookie person than I the great papyrus was limited to the topics I prefer…why less spaghetti to this human made film?"

Sans grinned, "Well, Paps, humans have different tastes. While spaghetti is a masterpiece in the underground, up here, they have a variety of dishes. Spaghetti might not be the star of every story. Sometimes they go for pizza, burgers, or... in this case, flying without a care in the world."

Asriel chuckle and hug the brothers close to watch with him and uttered "Also pay attention to the story this isn't an MTT cooking show…it's a story made by humans…"

Sans chuckled, "Alright, kid, we'll try to keep up with your human movie wisdom. Flying without a care, huh? Sounds like something I'd enjoy." They settled in to enjoy the movie, creating a cozy scene in the living room.

Papyrus whispers to Sans "So how is that conversation with Dr.Alphys went?"

Sans replied nonchalantly, "Oh, you know, the usual. Chit-chat about science, a sprinkle of determination, and a dash of Toriel." He winked playfully, maintaining his casual demeanor.

Papyrus gasp "Wowie—" then hush by Asriel a bit as he bow to say sorry before nudging his older brother "Still..it's impressive finding my brother not so lazy and a smooth talker to Ms.Toriel?"

Sans chuckled, "Well, bro, you know me. Smooth talkin', smooth walkin', just all-around smooth. As for Toriel, let's just say we're old pals catching up on the surface scene." He gave a lazy grin, keeping the atmosphere light.

Then he blushed when Papyrus grins more as he uttered "What? Why you seem so happy than usual when I talk about just another monster pal? Usually you just brush it off? Like the guys I friended at Grillby's"

Papyrus beamed, "Because, Sans, it's wonderful to see you connecting with others, especially our royal pals. And if you ever need advice on relationships, you know who to ask! The Great Papyrus is an expert on the subject, nyehheh!"

Papyrus beamed, "Because, Sans, it's wonderful to see you connecting with others, especially our royal pals. And if you ever need advice on relationships, you know who to ask! The Great Papyrus is an expert on the subject, nyehheh!"

Papyrus puffed up with pride, "Well, I must say, it was a splendid guidebook. They were impressed with my spaghetti recipe, and I even got a high-five! Nyehheh, the power of Papyrus prevails!"

He chuckles as he glances back at Asriel "Still Pap…you trust me when hoping to understand the kid isn't actually gone…just somewhere like a soul for our prince okay?"

Papyrus nodded with a determined expression, "Of course, Sans! I believe in the power of friendship and determination. We'll find a way to bring them back, no doubt about it!"

Asriel yawns as he likes watching as he rambled "Look look!!! A paradise for human children to stay young forever—" as Papyrus frowns "Wait so all this time the cool skeleton head from a human flag means…they're pirates? Why are they so mean with the other humans like Peter Pan and Wendy?"

Sans smirks, "Well, Pap, sometimes even good guys have their bad days. But you see, that's the fun part – watching how they turn things around. Just like our prince here, they'll figure it out and make it right."

Asriel chuckles "what Sans meant in the movie not all humans are good—" as he felt he recalled that quote from Chara in the past

Sans nods, "Yep, kid's got it. It's a mix of good and not-so-good out there, just like in the underground. Speaking of, how about we get some grub, my dudes?"

Papyrus beams "Ohh YOU gonna take a turn to prepare dinner since suggesting it Sans?"

Sans grins, "Sure thing, bro. Let's whip up something that'll knock your bones off."

Asriel paused the movie halfway and sighs "Okay , hopefully it's not instant meals to show your lazy right?"

Sans chuckles, "Nah, we'll make something decent. Not my first time cooking for royalty, you know?"

He and Papyrus look at eachother as they skeptically comment "Really when?"

Sans grins mysteriously, "Well, let's just say I have some secrets in my cookbook. You'll be surprised."

Papyrus grins "Nyeheheh first time I seen my brother this motivated for awhile since were young…"

Sans winks, "Guess I'm pulling out all the stops for our prince here. Gotta keep things interesting, right?"

They nod , as they left Papyrus' room to downstairs and the kitchen as Asriel tease "Let me guess your going to use your telekinesis magic to move things you can't reach right?"

Sans chuckles, "You got it, kid. Efficiency at its finest. Now, let's whip up something that's not instant noodles. Time to impress."

As he is assisted by papyrus to still lend the utensils and ingredients as Sans uttered "Who like some homemade burgers and fries for dinner?"

Papyrus eagerly adds, "A fantastic idea, Sans! Human cuisine, as they say, is quite the experience."

Sans chuckles "thanks to my hotdog business besides being a sentry back underground..is a fine job..so Asriel what ya like in your burger?"

Asriel thinks for a moment before replying, "Well, how about a classic combo with cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes? And maybe a side of those famous skeleton fries?"

He chuckled as Papyrus rattle his bones as he in shock Sans use his telekinesis magic to reach out tools and ingredients and supporter steps for his height to start cooking "mmm…Sans ohh Gosh Wowie dear older brother…your acting much cooler!!!"

Sans grins, his eyesockets lighting up a bit. "Guess today's the day to show off my 'cool' side. Get ready for a taste of my top-tier cooking, bro." Asriel and Papyrus share a curious glance, eager to see Sans in action.
