Everyone was shocked because of what they just witnessed,
"Eva , nooo!!"
Lucia said as she ran towards the door .
"Fuck , everything has escalated, Garrett , " Igris said
"On it " Garrett said understanding what Igris said and chasing after lucia
On seeing the Igris team, everyone began shouting,
" Get down , get down ,the statue blasts only those who are above a certain height"
On hearing this Vidya and Igris looked at each other .
"Shit , Garrett " Igris muttered
Meanwhile prince Gareth caught up to Lucia, you can't compare a mage , to a swords man who has been training his body from childhood , tired or not.
"Lucia please calm down" Gareth said as he held down Lucia ,
"There is no point, she's dead ,let's look for a way out , so that her sacrifice would not be invain" Garrett said
On hearing this, Lucia stopped struggling, and broke down in tears while hugging Garrett .
After getting herself together, she cleaned her eyes , turning to Garrett, she said
" let's find a way out of here"
They heard shouting behind them at a distance, and as they turned , they saw Igris and the others on the ground signaling them and shouting get down, pointing at the statue.
"Shit , it's eyes are glowing, run !!" Gareth screamed as he held Lucia and stayed running towards Igris
"No you idiot don't run towards us , I said get down ,"Igris shouted
As soon as prince Gareth and Lucia heard get down ,the blast aimed straight at them .
"Ha, ha"
Prince Garrett and Lucia could be seen breathing heavily.
"We survived somehow " prince Gareth said ,
"Let's crawl slowly towards the others" prince Gareth said
"Can you move ?" Prince Garrett asked Lucia.
"I will try" Lucia said , as they slowly crawled towards the others
Meanwhile, while all these where happening Vidya was lost in thought, so much so that he didn't realize all that happened.
"I've figured it out !!" Vidya screamed in excitement
Everyone's attention turned towards Vidya .
"Ok, you know how the laws on the stone tablets reacted the moment we finished reading it" Vidya asked
"Yes ,you are stating the obvious" Igris said
"Ok ,what If we follow all that is written on that" Vidya asked, pointing at the stone tablet.
"You mean we should bow down to that?"
Igris asked with a confused look,
"yes, that's pretty much what I said" Vidya answered.
"We are out of time , we have to actively find a way out of here, we can't just be sitting ducks, well if this gets us out of here , it doesn't matter , afterall , The end justifies the means " Igris thought
"You two heard that right?" Igris turned to Garrett and Lucia who just arrived
"Yes " they answered together
"Everyone , let's get on our knees and bow to the statue , hopefully according to Vidya's theory, we will be saved " Igris said with a loud voice.
And at once everyone got on their knees and together they bowed to the statue .

"What's that?" A girl shouted, pointing to the statue
On hearing this, everyone raised thier head, looking towards the statue and thier expressions changed .
"What the actual f*uck is that " Vidya asked
"It's like it's looking at us with satisfaction " Lucia said .
"No, that isn't satisfaction that we bowed down to it , it's satisfaction that we are suffering, seeing our desperate attempts to find a way out of here .." Garrett said with a sad look
"After all we have been through, all we get is a smile? , a smile is all we get , we lost so many people, the tang siblings, and those who got caught up in the first escape attempt, I can't accept this " Igris said angrily.
"Look!!" Someone shouted
Everyone looked at the statue that was trying to stand up
"Vidya , what does the second law mean "
Garret said .
"Right, umm , praise the lord " Vidya said
"Yes, what does it mean?" Igris asked
"I'm thinking" Vidya shouted
Everyone started to stand up one after the other , as the statues approached, there was no way they could run towards the door , because of the guards , and the giant statue was gradually closing in on them .
