Slave Power

Insects, this is the word that terrified humanity the most because, with a stroke of bad luck, you could fall into their clutches, and your only fate was to be their incubator. However, that ended thanks to a union between all countries; this entire disaster was controlled and eradicated, wiping out that entire generation of insects. This successfully restored the world to its balance. That was until now, two hundred years later when a mutation, never seen before, naturally occurred, once again disrupting the entire food chain. Now, insects are practically demons, leading to the reactivation of Project CIP. Various groups scattered around the world will now seek the essential components for the total destruction of these mutant aberrations.

Job Done

"Here's the last one," Hinna spoke, gently placing the needle's tip on the neck of the final student, injecting the amnesic.

Hinna removed the needle, stood up, and looked around. Touching her lower lip with her finger, she said, "So it was bees... how sad. I wanted to have seen."

"Alright, now only the reconstruction is left..." She glanced at the needle in her hand, wearing a disappointed expression. She opened her school bag, stored it, and walked to the hole in the wall of the room, hearing a faint buzzing, making her smile. She said, "Have you fed well?"

Stuck to the wall was a slug that had eaten tiny pieces of the wall until it was completely immobilized.

"You did a great job, so now leave the rest to me." Hinna pulled the bag forward, opened it, and began searching for something until she said, "Here it is... now you can rest."

Hinna inserted, without a hint of hesitation, a needle that was thinner and larger than the normal ones she used. She started hearing the previous buzzing becoming more and more acute until suddenly the sound stopped, and a hoarse voice said, "You will pay for this."

"Shut up, and that's what you get for trying to kill me," Hinna spoke with a dead voice, her eyes and entire demeanor dark. It didn't matter the buzzing or the threat she received because all of it was something only she could hear, a product of her own mind.

Removing the needle from the slug, Hinna put the needle back in her bag, carrying it only by one strap. She jumped out of the room through the hole, starting to walk forward without looking back while the slug began to grow continuously until it reached a point where it exploded. Curiously, no blood came out; only cement.

"Restoration complete... job done." Hinna looked back at the hole in the wall, starting to close as if the wall itself was twisting in time until it became identical to how it always was.

"The rest of the problem is for the higher-ups to handle," Hinna spoke, yawning and slowly walking toward the abandoned park.

At the same time, a new girl arrived at the HQ, walking through the garden until she reached the room where Ytsu was, the pink-haired girl now deeply asleep while holding a tangerine slice.

"Ytsu, always sleeping when I arrive. Is that some kind of curse?" The girl spoke, removing her black shoes, approaching Ytsu, taking the tangerine from her hand, and making her lie on her back.

"Alright, time to visit our little demoness." The woman smiled, getting up. The sound of something crashing was heard, and instant despair appeared on her face, quickly reaching her waist and removing two blood vials from her belt, looking at them and sighing in relief.

"I only got a little. If I lose these, I'll have to do clean-up for a month." The disgust was visible on her face. Holding the vials, one in each hand, she walked to the room where Kanya was.

Entering the room, she swung the vials, smiling. "Look who came, bringing two vials filled with moth blood."

Kanya turned her chair, looking directly at the girl's hands. "Good job, Reny. Give the vials to the collector, and you can go back to your room."

"Oh, Kanya, you know that... Wait, what?" Reny spoke, placing the vials on the table that appeared next to her, quickly walking up to Kanya, saying, "Was it only two vials? Do you see what happened? Am I going to get expelled? Just when we're so close to..."

On the panel on the table in front of Kanya, the camera from the training room was showing Damian and Skylla talking.

"Ah... so that's why." A mischievous smile formed on Reny's face as she stepped back only to grab a chair and quickly return to watch those two conversing.
