There was just one problem that Aaron had to face before he could go searching for other monsters.
He had no idea where any of them lived.
"Uh, Seph?" Aaron asked, rewinding his steps back into the shop. "I'll actually need you to help me find these guys. I have absolutely no fucking clue where they are." Aaron admitted, causing Seph to just sigh in response. He was doing that a lot recently.
That's the Aaron Stone effect. It causes people to excessively sigh.
"Sure, I'll show you where they live. Honestly, for someone with this amount of power and influence, you really have no idea what you're doing." Seph commented, and Aaron just looked at him with a smile on his face. "I've never known what I'm doing, Seph. Everything's just been "see what happens and if I'll regret it", or at least something along those lines. You see? I make absolutely no sense over half the time, so you shouldn't really expect me to have any idea of what I'm doing." Aaron explained before finally walking out the door of the empty building.
Seph stayed inside, just taking a quick look around the decently sized room. He was imagining what kind of shop he wanted to run. An Armourer's Shop? Tools and Weapons? General Items? There were so many choices. He was imagining stuff like swords on one wall. Also, he was imagining armours and the like on the opposite wall. "I'd be happy with making a shop. What about you, None? After all, both of control this body." Seph asked None, who chuckled in response. "Honestly, I'm fine with whatever you want to do. You were extremely compatible as a host, and now we do everything at the same time. After all, that's the only reason we work so well." None explained in response.
"If we didn't work well together, I wouldn't have been able to appear. After all, I need a host, and Aaron is surprisingly incompatible with me despite me being his own skill. Maybe it's so I don't take control of him. However, if we were put on a compatibility scale, it'd be like Aron and me are 0% compatible, but you and I are 98-100%. You see where I'm going with this? I'm lucky to even be here right now, so I'm fine with what you want to do." None finished as Seph tried to respond.
"A bit long-winded, None, but you're welcome," Seph replied before beginning to walk out of the building. "Also, feel free to voice your own opinions more. Aaron might enjoy hearing what you bring to a conversation."
Aaron looked up into the sky, noticing that the moon was out, despite it being daytime. He began to sing a little song as he created an illusion to pass the time while Seph was inside the building.
"Fly me to the moon, so I can kick its fucking ass." He began to sing, slowly walking up and down as the illusory moon began to crack. "Let me show it what I learned in my moon jujitsu class." He finished, the illusion of the moon breaking, shattering into thousands of pieces in the sky. The illusion then faded away as the moon reappeared, only having affected Aaron. "I might go destroy the moon at some point. Could be a fun little Sunday activity." Aaron jokingly said to himself, trying to think of more things to do to pass the time, but nothing came to mind. That's when Seph and None walked out of the building, and Aaron was just glad that he didn't need to think of anything else to keep him occupied.
"So, are you ready to help me find these monsters? I want to get this city up and running." Aaron asked, and Seph just looked at him blankly. "You want to put monsters like orcs and werewolves in a city? It sounds incredibly idiotic, Aaron. Compared to your usual ideas, this is about ten times as stupid, at least to me. Who am I to judge, though? After all, your insane ideas have a tendency to succeed, so I want to see what happens." Seph responded, his skin slightly shiny due to the sun. It was also because his skin was now made of some material that None had yet to describe clearly. He had said that Aaron would find it scaly but comprised of tiny scales, making it almost impossible to see or feel.
"Hey, None? You know how you said that the Hero's body was now made of tiny scales that used an almost indestructible alloy of materials?" Aaron questioned None, as he looked at Aaron with confusion? "Yes? What about it?" None responded, his voice somewhat afraid. After all, he was fully aware of his creator's power.
"Oh, it's nothing. I was just checking to make sure that everything was correct. After all, I don't want you to go dying on me, do I?" Aaron responded, knowing full well that he had just scared the shit out of None. After all, you could have told his fear by his voice. "So, have you got everything you need? For helping me find the sentient monsters, I mean." Aaron asked, clarifying his statement as he spoke. "Honestly, I don't think I'll need any. Knowing you for this short period has taught me that you probably have a way to do anything you want, and I won't be gone from this city for more than a day." Seph responded as Aaron smiled deviously.
"You know me all too well, Seph. Yeah, I've devised a way to teleport to where these monsters are, and all I need to do is tap on your head like so." Aaron explained, teleporting behind Seph and tapping him on the very top of his skull. Without another word spoken, Aaron clicked his fingers, and the pair disappeared. Seph looked around him to find himself in a moving tunnel of light, and Aaron was just as confused as he was.
"Either this is how you teleport through people's minds, or something is going on here," Aaron commented, tensing up. He felt an immense mana pressure on his shoulders. It was unlike anything he'd ever felt before. Seph and None were face-first in the ground.
"Oh? You noticed that I took you out of your teleport? How convenient. Well then, it's nice to meet you both. You are Aaron, he is Seph, the skill is None, and me...well, my name is..." The male voice trailed off as a man in a suit walked out from the light.
"Sciatera Disolure, or as Aaron might remember me, Sciat."
Sorry the chapter is out late because I didn't have the time earlier lmao
