Skelengel; Tales Of The Boundless One [Not Updating]

When the universe creates a person, they are bestowed with certain traits that we, as mere humans, are aware of. Sportiness, the ability to work with computers, and creativity are all things we may obtain at creation. However, some of those talents extend far past the mortal realm of flesh and blood. They go all the way to your very soul, and these are the ones that we cannot see. These few are destined to become Boundless. And it just so happens that one was designated to die on the fateful day a new god took sight over the earth. This is the tale of Aaron Stone, the once businessman turned planetary traverser. Aided by himself and his potential, he plans to live out his life with peace of mind. However, the universe has it out for him, and it won't let him ever have true peace. However, someone from behind the shadows controls everything, and they have quite a distaste for Aaron Stone. They will try to make his life a living hell. Everything you read here is an account of something going on in the vast universe. Hell, who knows... It may even be YOU who takes his place in the future. Befriending

"Just a child?" The unnamed child yelled, angry at being called a child. "Wow. I didn't expect you to get so angry over being called something appropriate for your age." Aaron recoiled, worried about angering the kid. He did not feel like dealing with an angry kid less than an hour after entering this world. "It's not that 'child' remark! It's the fact that you called me 'just a child'!" They yelled before Aaron realised what was going on. "Do you have an ability or something?" Aaron asked, just trying to calm down the child before he had to deal with what could best be described as a small nuclear warhead.

"Yes, I do! It's my own little ability!" The child yelled as Aaron realised their tone had quickly changed. They weren't like this before. It seemed out of character. He then looked into their eyes and realised that their eyes had changed from a black to a strangely crimson colour. "Quiet down, split-personality child. Let me guess. You're insane, or you have split personalities." Aaron told the child, who looked at him as if he had revealed the worlds biggest secret. "What?! No?! I don't have split personalities!" The kid yelled, their eyes showcasing the truth. "Don't lie to me, child. I can already tell what's true and what's a lie, so there's no use. Bring out the other one, or else I will stop being pleasant towards you." Aaron threatened, his eyes glowing a violent red as a pink spear appeared in his hand. It began to spin with infinite speed, just showcasing what Aaron planned to do if they didn't follow his instructions. The child sighed and closed their eyes. Aaron waited for them to look up, and once their eyes opened, their eyes were black once again. "Sorry about that. They come out every once in a while." The child admitted, rubbing the back of their head.

"Don't worry about it, child. I stopped them before they did anything stupid. Tell me, what is your name, child. It is incredibly frustrating trying to call you a child without me sounding like I'm an asshole." Aaron admitted as the child looked up at him. "My name is Clair!" The child exclaimed. "I'm going to assume that you're a girl," Aaron stated, and the child's eyes lit up. "Yes, I am!" Clair yelled out, finally letting Aaron know what gender she was. "Nice. I'm able to tell what gender people are by their names. At least you weren't called something like Alex, which could be either male or female." Aaron sighed as he finally knew what to call the child. "So, Clair. Explain to me exactly what happened to lead you out here. After all, I know you were sent out as a sacrifice to the Demon King, but why? We don't know why you were chosen except for your mindset." Aaron asked, a smile on his face. He wanted to try to befriend this kid. She might prove herself in the future. She could show Aaron that she was not going to be dead weight.

Not in the way that Sans befriended your mother, though. You deserved that.

"Well, the villagers found me while I was all alone. My mother was dead, and my dad was nowhere to be found, so I was left alone. That's when they took me in. They gave me a job to do, but I was mocked for it. It was to take out any rubbish left behind and to discard it. They didn't treat outsiders well. That included the ones that had been there for most of their lives." Clair explained, telling her life story to the pair. Crystet wasn't too interested, but Aaron paid attention. He was curious as to why they'd throw a helpless child out into the wild for a demon to find. Why not throw out one of the old and villagers instead?

"They said they threw me out 'for the good of the village' and that I'm 'worthless to them'. I was apparently too dangerous to be around. If that was the case, why didn't the villagers throw me out long before?" Clair pondered out loud, wondering why everything was like this herself. She was just a child. He didn't expect this. She looked to be around nine, so how the hell was she thinking this deep? "Well, in my personal opinion, that's a shitty reason to throw someone out of a village. Imagine helping around the place for some lazy pricks, only to be offered up as a sacrifice." Aaron thought out loud, dragging Crystet's attention towards the conversation. "Really?! Thrown out for such a cause? Not even I, a Demon Lord, would do something so cruel to a child, human or not. If it came down to it, I'd try to use the child as a mediator between humans and demons, but this is only a last resort. First, I would try to return the child to the humans. After all, even if I'm a Demon Lord, I don't have to try to take over any place. I might even decide to live amongst humans." Crystet stated before Aaron gave him a look of confusion. "With your face? You wouldn't be allowed within a mile of a city, and definitely not within two miles of any children except this one currently." Aaron responded, shocking Crystet. He didn't expect that response. "Alright then, oh so charming one. Maybe they'll let you go around romancing the random women you find along the roads. Bring along ten thousand lovestruck women to war, and I'm telling you, you'll be unstoppable. Just tell them that if they don't die, you'll marry them, and suddenly they're all FUCKING invincible!" Crystet yelled out as Aaron took it back to him.

"Well, you've just given me a great idea. You go find random male adventurers and seduce them. I bet you can do it!" Aaron mocked him.

"Did you just call me gay?" Crystet asked him.

"Yes. I. Did."
