Louis was in his office, he had been busy since morning in a meeting with different business partners and managers of each department for their reports and data collection.

He could have gone get her himself or sent over his driver but he didn't want any complications. Already Ethan sent him a text that doctor Zhao called earlier than the arranged time.

So he had to tell Ethan to assist him in doing the needful since he was less busy at the moment and he still had some hours before his meeting begins.

He informed Ethan to bring her to the Lu corporation and when he is done he will come get her from his office.

But the job of the chairman wasn't so easy, so many important schedules that he couldn't miss kept coming up. He had no choice but to leave her in the hands of Ethan, for the moment at least.

She took a nice stroll towards the direction of the door, she gently pushed it open revealing a nice and comfortable room atmosphere. The outside view wasn't enough, she had to step in to take in this fresh sight in front her, and as so she followed her mind and proceeded In.

Her eyes wandered round while she kept walking. She was in awe of what she was seeing right now.

Yeah! she knew about CEOs having a room inside of their offices, even her dad had one too but he never fails to come back home.

What she was seeing here was entirely on a different level. This obviously looks like a mini house in one space!. Someone who Sees this will wonder if the owner actually has a real home or not.

She walked in further, admiring the nice and descent view of the entire surrounding. And he called this a room? her mind rummaged.

The 'room' was not in anyway in contrast to his office, it was approximately his style, full of minimal decorations, nice and fresh fragrance filled the air. The fragrance of the room smelt familiar. She sniffed it in more trying to get a recollection of where she had perceived such fragrance before.

Because it smelt unique and attractive, She closed her eyes while sinking herself into the cool and comfortable ambiance of the atmosphere.

After sniffing in a lung full of air, her eyes immediately popped open. She remembered! she knew why this fragrance was familiar. It was familiar because, he had it on him.

Thinking about this, the recollection of when they were in the car came coming back, and all the times they have been in close proximity.

Realizing what she was thinking about, she slowly bit her lower lip. A faint residue of red hue was present on both sides of her cheeks, she herself wasn't aware that she had just gotten her first blush.

She quickly shook her head, bringing herself out of her dream land and back to reality. With that, she proceeded straight into the room up until she came in contact with a smaller room on the left side of the wall which had no door connected to it. She took a turn inside so she could have a look.

After all she was given permission to go in so checking it out won't be a crime, would it?

She felt less guilty with her thoughts, she strode in only to see a huge king size bed in the center of the room. So many more things were kept, giving out the vibe of a workaholics den.

All in all the view was great and comfortable, what a customized office for a cold CEO. A little smile, not wide enough to be called a smile though, appeared on her lips without even her notice.

Before she could turn, a sound was heard approaching and she could tell where it was headed for. She needed no one to tell her who it was. Was he done with his meeting already? so fast?.

Not long after her thoughts she already heard him enter and she could feel his presence behind her, she slowly turned around and was met with that deadpan expression of his.

She couldn't tell if he was angry or not because his face didn't let anything out.

As usual she dropped her gaze to the ground, but this time he didn't just stand there.

She heard his footsteps coming closer. It came to a halt when he was already directly Infront of her. She suddenly felt like it was hard to breathe.

Maybe he might be mad, even if she was given permission it didn't give her right to move around in his personal space like that.

She thought of apologizing, but unfortunately she realized that her tablet wasn't in her possession at the moment. 'Oh God what will she do now?' She kept on fidgeting.

The was no absolute way to apologize to him without the use of her tablet. And her mind seemed to be on lockdown due to the closeness they shared.

She raised up her head only for her breath to get hitched because she realized that they were actually closer than she thought they were. She slowly started moving back a little only for him to reciprocate her movement by moving along with her.

'Oh God! he is really mad.' She wept internally. She continued until her back hit the end of the wall. Her eyes widen the moment she took her last step, she stared at him in anticipation of what he was going to do.

To her dismay he joined her in taking the last step, he placed his one hand on the wall while the other was in his trouser pocket. She was completely trapped within his huge build.

She thought of all the ways she could possibly apologize to him, Damn! she couldn't do anything about it.

After staring at her like forever, he raised his hands extending it forward to the direction of her face.

Kamlyn who saw this thought it was over for her, he was about to hit her. She should prepare to get her first hit ever. not even from her mom or dad but from someone she was supposed to call 'Brother?'
