SURPRISED
She was utterly surprised that he ordered a meal for, how was he aware that she was hungry? she remembered she hasn't even shown the sentence written in tablet to him yet so how did he...?
Well that was a question to ponder about later as of now she was really famished and needed to put in ASAP.
She glanced at him to find him busy with work. She look back to the maids who were already done serving her the dish and oh God! they were mouth watering.
She casted a gaze of appreciation to them which they reciprocated with a kind smile.
She thought to thank him later.
Before the maids were about to leave, "Young miss is the anything you will want us to do for you?" One of the maids asked, you could hear the respect laced in the tone.
Kamlyn quickly nodded a no. Her mind was nowhere else but the delicious dishes spread out beautifully in front of her.
The varieties of dishes laid out for her looked so good and enchanting, she couldn't wait to dig in which she did immediately the maids took their leave, not without giving a small bow to Ethan and Olivia.
She was in her own different world enjoying and savouring the taste. She has been hungry for quite some time now.
Her manners and etiquette were still intact as she dug in gracefully and elegantly. She didn't rush the food like she was expected to even in the feat of hunger.
Olivia was shock and surprised by what transpired some seconds ago. So he ordered a meal for her? She couldn't even understand what is going on between them both. they have gotten this close already? For God's sake what is their relationship?
Her mind kept on bringing up different speculations. She was actually driving herself mad, she just sat there lost in god knows where.
Kamlyn who was ignorant about the hatred and discomfort she had caused in the heart of someone else, calmly and quietly continued with her meal not wanting to cause anymore distraction to them.
Ethan continued from where he left off, it seems like he had forgotten about a certain person presence. He acted so nonchalant like he didn't have a guest to attend to which made Olivia inwardly fume with rage.
But what can she do? nothing, she hates his guts so much but that was also the same thing she loved in him. His indifference and optimism also his arrogant side, not when it is directed at her that is.
"Mmmm Ethan about..." She started but was interrupted by two consecutive knock before the door swung open.
Stepping in was Mr Fu.
"Good afternoon young master." He greeted respectfully.
"What's the matter?" Ethan asked still busy with signing the documents.
"The meeting scheduled for Mr Bo and his associates will begin in ten minutes." He laid out his information.
"Mmmm." That was Ethan Short reply.
After hearing his reply Mr Fu stood, it looks like he had Finnish yet.
Ethan raised his gaze towards him, his expression seems to ask anything else?
"They already arrived and are waiting in the meeting room." He continued.
"Alright I will be there." He replied, it seems like Mr Bo is desperate, he continued his work rounding up everything before the ten minutes he had elapses.
Olivia who just heard this, widen her eyes as she snapped back to reality. She remembered what she came for. "Mmmm Ethan." She called out but was interrupted.
"Miss Tang I have a meeting to attend." Ethan stated plainly.
"Won't you hear what I have to say." She persisted again.
He shot her a cold look which made her flinch back a little.
"But.....but what I want to say is important." She continued with masked fear.
"If what you wanted to say was important, you would have started it the minute I told you you had few minutes. I am a busy man Miss Tang." He cut her off coldly. He wasn't interested and if he is not wrong which he rarely was, he already had an idea of what she wanted to tell him about.
'Just you wait!' She inwardly grunted before picking up her back leaving the office angrily, not without giving a stare to Kamlyn.
Ethan didn't pay her any attention or what so ever, he wasn't even concern, he had more important things to do.
