DEPRESSION

Outside the hospital ward, Louis, Elina and Axel were waiting anxiously for the door to instantly open and for the doctor to come out.

With her eyes filled with tears, Elina could not stop more from coming out. Axel stood close, leaning on the wall with folded arms and one leg placed on the it. He had his eyes closed totally fade up of all these tragic happenings, yes! he heard the news about the loss of his very loved one. He hasn't been able to take that down yet, it's really difficult coupled with the fact that he hasn't seen them since they returned from the states.

His parents were a mourning mess right now, he wondered how Ethan will be doing, surely he will be in great pain now as he truly cherished them, they were really important to him but in life, not everything lasts forever.

A Hopeless kamlyn was lying in there while being examined by the physician. When she fainted earlier due to the unexpected shock she received, she was immediately rushed to the hospital. The innocent girl had suffered a lot, losing her parents at such a young age is a very painful thing to take in just like that.

They were all distracted from their thoughts when the door to the ward was finally opened, the doctor stepped out taking out his mask and putting his stethoscope back around his neck. They all rushed toward him, including Axel who seemed calm all this while.

"Doctor is she alright? is she in any sort of danger?." Louis asked immediately after the doctor stepped out. "Hmmm… she's doing fine physically, no minor or major injuries but…" The doctor said halting in the middle of his sentence impelling the Lu's hearts to go into a frenzy. "But what doctor?" Axel quickly raised the question silently praying in his heart for this to not be another unpleasant news, they have had enough already. "Well, it looks like she had received twice a shock in less than the span of 24 hours. This really hit her hard and it's pretty overwhelming for her. She couldn't take it anymore, which caused her a psychological issue." the doctor explained sending a wave of great shock to everyone present in the midst. "Wh…What ty…pe of issue?" Elina forced out between her tears.

"Depression, she has been traumatized resulting in severe depression."

The words echoed loud and clear sending another wave of shock. Elina staggered backward but was immediately caught by Axel who made sure she was okay before looking back at Louis to check if he was doing fine, which he was, still trying to analyze the situation. "Doctor, is the any solution designated like I mean any healing therapy?" Axel stammered out the question. "Yeah, one of you should be present in my office to get the prescriptions and some other things to be aware of." The doctor responded. "Can we go see her now?" Louis who had just calmed his emotions asked. "Yes you can, but please restrain from waking her as her emotions are not stable yet." The doctor instructed. "We understand," Axel replied before the doctor left.

Still holding on to Elina. "Mom, dad we can go in" Axel reminded them as it seems like they had forgotten. No reply was heard except the hard sob from Elina. "We are not supposed to wake her remember?" Axel wiped her tears. "hmmm I do" Elina replied breathing in and out to keep calm. "You guys go in first I will be there," Axel said to his parents while slowly opening the door. They both went in with steady steps following the doctor's instruction

When they were finally in, Axel released a heavy breath. He pulled out his phone and dialed a number. After the sixth ring, the call was immediately answered. "What's the problem?" A gloomy and cold voice could be heard from the other line. "We are at the hospital."

Inside the hospital ward, Elina and Louis stood a few meters away from the bed where a docile kamlyn lay unconscious. Completely unaware of her surrounding. "Dear, could you please recover fast, do it for uncle and aunt okay," Elina mumbled in a hushed tone. "Please dear, we assured your parents that you will be fine in our care, we promised to take care of you till they are back…but…but unfortunately." She covered her mouth as the pain hit her once more. Dropping the words she wanted saying knowing that it will just open up fresh wounds. "We didn't keep our promise…We are…so …so... sorry." She burst out, Louis immediately lead her out of the ward as her sobs were getting louder. With her palm still on her mouth she wept uncontrollably.

Once they were out, Axel rushed to them taking his mother is in his arms as he began to stroke her back in his comfortable embrace

"Everything will be alright." He stated hopefully when he knew that everything won't be that alright.
