DELUSIONAL

Ethan came downstairs with his business suit on. Normally he do not come down for breakfast and he is not always around for lunch and he usually skips dinner. But this few days it..... well it's a change.

He gently took strides to the breakfast table he didn't even look anyone in the face as he sat comfortably.

It was until he sat before he greeted. "Good morning Dad good morning mom."

"Good morning son." Elina was the first to reply with a smile.

"Morning son." Louis seconded.

"Ermmm Good morning Bro." Axel said while darting his eyes from one plate to another.

Ethan just gave him a glance and nodded before he started eating.

Though to others it was just a glance but to Axel it was like a death sentence to him. The worst part was that he had even requested a pay but didn't get the simple job done.

He just wish Ethan will not ask for a refund. Oh no! if he does what will happen to his investment. No this can't happen he will have to do something about this.

Axel was busy with his thoughts that he didn't even remember to eat, which was to Elina surprise.

"Axel! Axel!" Elina called out after noticing his weird expression.

"Huh Mom"

"why aren't you eating. Don't tell me you are thinking of your busy... business huh." Elina mocked.

"Mom don't start I just spaced out." Axel replied with a frown.

He quickly glanced at Ethan to see if he had any reaction. But oh well it's his elder brother who wasn't born with an expression.

Ethan knew fully well what Axel was thinking about but he acted like it wasn't his business. he just sat quietly and ate like he was the only one present at the dinner hall.

After some few minutes, light footsteps were heard descending the stairs.

Elina quickly stood when she saw Kamlyn walking down the stairs. She moved towards her and held her by hand as she led her to the table.

"ooh little sis is looking nice this morning. Going somewhere?" Axel said jokingly eliciting a glare from Elina.

Immediately Ethan heard his statement he knew who it was.

Elina walked kamlyn over. She gently nodded to everyone indicating a greeting.

"Good morning dear how are you doing?" Louis answered her greetings with a question of his.

Kamlyn nodded once more meaning she was alright.

"Okay come have breakfast." Elina took her to the seat which was beside her.

She served her food and gave her the cutleries.

Kamlyn started eating slowly but was distracted by the strong gaze she felt staring at her.

This is not the first time she felt someone staring at her in the Lu mansion when she was dinning with them, Then it was Axel.

But now it's totally different this one seems..... stronger and more intense.

She slowly lifted her head up and behold she was met with the strong gaze of those grey orbs that were staring at her.

She wasn't even sure of what to do. To look away or keep looking.

When she couldn't bear it anymore she looked back to her food. She just want to get out from here.

Only one question kept ramming in her head. 'What have she done to attract Ethan Lu's attention!' Should she be scared? or happy about this.

She inwardly shivered with her thoughts. She think she will go with the former. After all she don't think she's the first person to ever be scared of him.

If she is not mistaken Axel is also scared of him. No! she thinks terrified is the word, yes! terrified by him.

She looked up again to see if he still had his eyes on her. But thankfully she saw his concentration was fully on his meal making her rethink if she was delusional just seconds ago when she saw him looking intensely at her.

She continued with her meal forgetting about the incident.

Not long after Louis voice was heard. "Axel do you have plans to join the company."

Axel choked on his breakfast immediately he heard this question.

'What? no way!' He mentally screamed but he put up a smooth face after his episodes of cough.

"Ermm about that Dad I don't think so, I think I'm good. I will pass." He replied with a sheepish smile.

"Fine then I'm not gonna force you, though you are a pain in the neck sometimes, you are not doing any bad in business. But anytime you ready just speak to your brother."

"Sure Dad, thanks!" Axel said smiling widely.

"Kamy are you done? it's almost late." Louis asked.

Kamlyn just nodded as she stood up to join Louis who was already up and ready.

"Okay good bye guys, kamy! success in today's session alright!" Elina said cheerfully with a smile.

With that they made for the exit as Ethan followed behind.
