Kamlyn stood still after the glass made contact with the tiled floor, producing a harsh crashing sound. She also was startled by the unexpected fall. She didn't mean for it to distract them neither did she wanted to attract attention, she just wanted a glass water for Christ sake.

Olivia stared widely at her, she did not even bother to hide her mixed expression. Her gaze was already boring into kamlyn sending a chill down her spine making her cower backwards a little and bringing her head to stare at ground.

Seeing the girl's behavior, Olivia got back her senses, she reduced the intensity of her gaze and again put up her act. A smile immediately appeared on her face. "Oh isn't this Mmmm what's her name, Kamlyn yeah kamlyn yang." She voiced out cheerfully.

Slowly kamlyn raised up her head after she heard her name from the lady she did not know.

Olivia gently stood and walked over to Kamlyn. "Hi there, I am Olivia Tang." She said with a little wave and her smile still on.

Kamlyn reciprocated with a quiet nod.

Which made Olivia feel awkward because she felt like kamlyn was not interested in talking to her. She casted a look at Ethan then back to Kamlyn, she didn't know what to say next to keep her act moving forward when suddenly the sound of a moving chair was heard. She turned around and saw Ethan walking in their direction.

She wondered what he was coming for or what he wanted to do. At the time he arrived, he grabbed kamlyn by her hands while he stared at it from back to front, as if he was searching for something.

After checking a few more times and couldn't see anything, he took her back to the seat which she was on earlier and made her sit before he turned to face Olivia who's face was ashen by now.

All this happened right in front of her, she relaxed her facials when Ethan turned in her direction. "Mmm Ethan why is she not replying me?" She asked him with a forged voice.

Ethan just casted a lazy glance at her before turning away back to Kamlyn, that was when he caught sight of the tablet lying uselessly on the sofa, it's screen still on and radiating. He clearly saw the 'Sir, I feel hungry' Sentence written boldly in the chosen font of the tablet.

His reaction was a quick raise of his brow. reason not know or maybe because of the 'sir' word used to address him.

He made his way back to his office table and picked up his phone.

Olivia casted a quick glance at kamlyn before striding back to where she was seated previously.

She kept her eyes on Ethan who was busy with a call, she didn't know who it was that he was calling but she could hear the conversation was about bringing over a meal or something.

She couldn't look away from him, his beauty was too ethereal. She passionately wish she could own this man. Her mind wandered to the little view earlier. Men! she was dying inside, her anger knew no bounds at that moment, but she somehow managed to comport herself.

She told herself that kamlyn was just a child, why should she be worried in the first place, Ethan can't actually like someone way more younger than him can he? I mean seven whole years difference. No she don't think so.

With that thought of hers, her mind seemed to relax a little. But she had to find out what she was doing in the Lu corporation especially in Ethan's office. Her initial reason for coming was long forgotten.

Ethan was already done with his call by the time she snapped back to reality.

She cleared her throat like the was something stucked in it before she finally asked. "Mmmm Ethan." She called out but got no answer even a glance was not given to her.

She braved herself and continued. "Is she here to see your Dad or you?"

Her question wasn't at all answered. She convinced herself by thinking maybe it is not important that's why he didn't answer. So "It's okay if you don't want to tell me I don't understand." She said with a smile.

Ethan just casted a look at her before going back to his work.

Kamlyn on the side was famished, she just didn't know what to do anymore. Her hope for water was destroyed when she tarnished it herself, now she didn't know what to do. Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.

And surprisingly, Jennie walked in guiding the maids who were wheeling the dish in. Immediately, the aroma wafted into her nose. Men! she didn't know who it was meant for, but she really wanted a bite.

She thought it must have been for the guest. But she wasn't expecting it when Ethan gestured for the maids to take the food to her.
