ADOPTED YOU

Kamlyn quickly brought her head down when she saw Ethan looking at her. She don't know why but she just felt uncomfortable.

Immediately she finished taking a shower, she stepped out of the bathroom. She needed to get water as she was thirsty.

But on coming out, her water jug was empty and she couldn't call the maids to help her fill it up.

She decided to go into the kitchen herself so she could get some water to drink and also fill up her jug.

But immediately she flung her door open, she saw Ethan who seemed to have been standing there for a while now. Was he looking for something at her door? she asked herself in her mind.

She kept Staring at those eyes of his that were staring back at her, Maybe he wanted to find out something from her, she patiently waited as she also got lost in his.

She brought her eyes down when his gaze became unbearable for her to stand. He didn't move a muscle he just stood the way he was, staring at her like he wanted to see through her.

She decided to just walk pass him then, as it seems like he has nothing to say.

With her head bend low, she slowly moved intending to Walk pass him.

When she had successful passed. She heard his voice. "Where are you going?" He asked her.

She immediately halted by his question. After a while, She slowly turned around to face him.

She raised the jug which was in her right hand meaning she was going to get some water.

He diverted his gaze to the jug before looking at her face again.

His eyes trailed her hair down to the edge. "Your hair is not properly dried, Hurry up and go dry it or else you might catch a cold."

She stared at him inquisitively after she heard him speak.

"You are not alright yet, you just arrived from the hospital." He replied as he saw the question in her eyes, so not to give her the wrong message.

After that, he walked passed her going back to his room.

Kamlyn just stood still staring at his moving frame until he went into his room and shut the door.

After he left, she stood for a while staring at the closed door before she resumed her steps to the kitchen.

He released a huge sigh after he stepped into his room. Why was he looking at her like that.

He must admit he lost his composure for a minute there. Like....he didn't know what happened or what is happening to him.

He pushed his hair backward with his hand as the fell back down.

This is going to give him serious headaches if he continues to think about it. Which he needs to avoid as he is a very busy man, he don't have time for that.

He took strides into his bathroom to take a shower.

Kamlyn was seated in her room recalling the incident that happened few minutes ago. She was back from the kitchen after she filled her jug.

When she arrived at her door step she halted, because she was standing at the exact spot he stood just a moment ago. It seemed that something was going on in her mind as she just kept looking at that particular spot.

After a while she slowly entered her room. The way he looked at her, it was so... so! it's just undescribable. But something in her didn't want him to look away.

Though she couldn't withstand it as his gaze seemed to be getting intense.That was the reason she kept her head down, she could not handle it.

She diverted her attention back to her glass of water, when suddenly she heard a knock on the door. She kept silent expecting the person to come in.

Elina Walked in after receiving no response from kamlyn. She wanted to check if the girl was alright.

"Darling are you okay?" Elina asked in which kamlyn replied with a nod.

With her affirmative response, Elina continued

"You didn't have enough dinner earlier so I came to ask if you are hungry?"

Kamlyn shook her head sideways in a negative response.

"Okay dear, I understand." Elina concluded.

"Umm your dad and I have thought about it, you will start your therapy session tomorrow." Elina said in a careful voice while observing her expression.

Kamlyn immediately jerked. Did she just hear 'her Dad' Really?

Complete shock was registered on her face.

Elina knew exactly what was on her mind so she thought to clear the confusion.

"I don't mean Gabriel dear, you....you have been adopted by us."

That was all Kamlyn heard before her mind went on an overdrive.
