Passionate Performance

After a few more performances, The girls had to leave their seats and head backstage to prepare for their performance. They had to change their outfits and makeup. They were performing their hit song 'Burn It Up'. The outfits they were wearing were made in accordance to the song. They were all dressed in shades of red.

Sandara wore bright red pants with a black tank top. It was paired with a pair of black chunky boots. Her hair was pulled into a ponytail with various accessories and braids at the top of head.

Bom wore a maroon A-line skirt that reached just above her knees. She wore a black off-shoulder top and a pair of black heels to go with it. Her hair was curled and sectioned into two parts. The top part was pulled into a ponytail, with a few strands framing her face, while the bottom part was left loose.

CL wore a matte red, short-sleeved jumpsuit with a pair of black wedges. Her hair was curled and left loose.

Minzy wore a maroon top with black shorts. She wore black, knee-high socks and black sneakers. Her hair french braided with multiple red and black pins interlaced into the braid.

So-Young wore a black turtleneck shirt over which she wore a red coat. She wore a pair of ripped Skinny jeans and paired it up with black chunky boots. Her short hair was combed back, showing her forehead. The hair looked neat and went well with her look.

2ne1 was not only known for their music, but also for their fashion sense. They always came up with fresh and different styles. There were multiple articles about their outfits. This was to be expected as So-Young knew what was popular. She suggested some changes to their outfits to their wardrobe stylists. They were apprehensive at first, but after So-Young urging them so much, they decided to try it out. They were pleasantly surprised by the result. The girls looked amazing.

It was finally time for them to perform.

So-Young : "I know we are all nervous. But it is what we all dreamed of. We have worked really hard for this moment. Let's go out there and show them what we got!!!"

the girls huddled into a circle and put their arms out.

EVERYONE : "2ne1 FIGHTINGGGG!!"

they raised their arms to the sky clenched the hands into fists. They looked up at their hands as if they were clasping their dreams in their hands.

They did this without a previous discussion. It looked magical. In the future, they would always do this before a concert or performance as it served as a way to calm them down.

The five girls made their way to their positions.

Host : "And now we have 2ne1 up on stage performing their hit song 'Burn It Up'. "

There were four girls up on stage with nonchalant expressions. As the music started playing and building up, a sound of fast footsteps came abruptly. The audience saw So-Young jumping over the four girls, performing a back-flip and landing down the moment the drop of the song came on. She raised her head and sang the first words of her rapping verse the moment the music started.

They all made their way around the stage with synchronized dance steps. The song smoothly transferred from So-Young to Sandara. Sandara had a falsetto tone as compared to So-Young's alto tone. When they sang together and harmonized, it created an effect that captured the entire audience. It sounded angelic. When the 1st chorus came up, all of them danced together as they did in their M/V. CL took the center as she rapped her part and then Bom proceeded to sing in harmony with CL in the second verse. Then, the second chorus came up. Something unexpected happened. T

So-Young threw Sandara up in the air. So-Young caught her with ease. The two of them performed a few complex flips that left the audience at the edge of their seats. The rest of the girls were up in the air with stings attached to their backs. They were swirling around in the air. It looked like angels descending from heaven.

They were back on the ground for the bridge where Minzy sang. The bridge was the most crucial part of this song. It was much lighter and softer compared to the rest of the song. But if performed with a little less enthusiasm, it becomes boring. There was huge pressure on Minzy when she had to sing this part. But, with continuous practice she was able to execute it perfectly.

The last chorus was performed with them in the center of the stage. and with that the song ended. The girls were backstage and cheering together in celebration of a successful performance.
