Modelling

YG had accepted the proposal from the perfume company. It was a good deal and would benefit both parties. The perfume company would get new faces for their brand and 2ne1 would be gettingmare exposure. The date was set and the girls had to model for the first time in their lives.

They had 5 different scents to advertise. Each one of them gave a different feeling. They decided that each different member would model for a different scent.

Bom:

Oud - resin from a tree—it's very popular in the Middle East and very warm areas. To harvest the rubber-like ingredient, you go under the tree skin and dig into it until you get wood that's a bit wet, then you dry it under the sun for six months until the wood gets that special kind of smoky smell and from there you extract the oud.

Sandara:

Oriental - a mix of woodiness and spice.

CL:

Spicy - when it tickles your nose in some way. Whenever something is spicy, it means there is pepper in it or some kind of overtone note that is very deep, like cardamom or bergamot.

Minzy:

Gourmand - Anything that is sugary or sweet will be gourmand—usually vanilla, but orange blossom and apricot that have been dried and candied.

So-Young:

Wood - can be cedar, amber, anything from trees. It was a bit of a mysterious scent. Exactly like her current image.

They all had taken time for outfits, hair and make-up. Bom wore a long red gown with her hair straight down. Sandara wore a short dress with her hair in a braided updo. CL wore baggy jeans and a tank-top with her hair in a ponytail. Minzy looked like a cute girl-next door. Her hair was in pigtails and she wore a t-shirt with a mini-skirt. So-Young wore a tailored men's suit. It was not a three-piece suit but just a shirt and a waist coat.

They were all feeling shy initially. But the photographer made them comfortable and they were able to get some decent shots by the end of the shoot. It was an exhausting day for all five of them. But, next time they have a shoot, they would be more comfortable. Today they understood what kind of poses and expressions that are required for a photo shoot.

They all returned to their apartment exhausted. They all needed a good rest today. So-Young and Sandara made their way to the kitchen. Today was their turn to make dinner. The made some rice with some simple side dishes and called the rest of the girls to eat. They all sat down and started discussing the photoshoot. It was only nine o' clock but all of them went to bed.

Luckily tomorrow was a holiday. All of them were taking a break. So-Young was going back to her parents house. She was excited to meet them and her baby brother Taetae. He was almost a year old now. He started crawling and could speak a few words.
