She Became The Boss's Lady After Divorce

Tessa ran away from home to get married to the love of her life, David Winston. On David's birthday, and their three years marriage anniversary, Tessa caught David cheating on her with his childhood friend, Olivia George, a figure from a prestigious family.  She found out that the man she thought was her soulmate only married her because of his family inheritance, now that he had gotten it, she was no longer useful to him. It was time for she to go her own way, after three years of hardship and unfaithfulness.  Tessa picked the pen up and signed the divorce papers.  ‘These people, they have no idea who they are messing with’ David smirked.  “Tessa is from the countryside, I bet her family are local farmers... She can't do anything. Come to think of it, she never told me anything about her family. Perhaps they are beggars! In the countryside” Olivia George screamed.  “Tessa, you will pay for this, I will show you that I am from the George family!” Olivia's quivering tone was heard.  “David... I... I... thought you said she is from the countryside, her family are beggars! right? cos what in the devil's name is going on” Tessa's cheeks raised slowly.  “I forgot to introduce myself. I am Tessa Wood. From the number one mafia family in the country” “Tessa, you would be crowned the next heir to the Wood family, but you have to marry somebody from the military, that is your grandfather's last request”

CHAPTER 128

Klaus was standing at the top of a building, his hands were on his back and his eyes were firmly on the Wood family manor which was far away.

He could hear the sound of somebody approaching but he didn't bother to look at the person.

Liam went on his knees when he got closer to Klaus, before he could say anything, Klaus cut him off.

"Is she alright"

His eyes remained firmly on what he was looking at.

"Yes, she would be fine"

"Would she remember anything?"

Klaus asked straight away.

"It's hard to tell now. I tried to get into her head but for some reasons I can't even last more than a second"

Liam found it so complex, strange would be the right word.

How could he not get in the head of a normal person.

"I see"
