She Became The Boss's Lady After Divorce

Tessa ran away from home to get married to the love of her life, David Winston. On David's birthday, and their three years marriage anniversary, Tessa caught David cheating on her with his childhood friend, Olivia George, a figure from a prestigious family.  She found out that the man she thought was her soulmate only married her because of his family inheritance, now that he had gotten it, she was no longer useful to him. It was time for she to go her own way, after three years of hardship and unfaithfulness.  Tessa picked the pen up and signed the divorce papers.  ‘These people, they have no idea who they are messing with’ David smirked.  “Tessa is from the countryside, I bet her family are local farmers... She can't do anything. Come to think of it, she never told me anything about her family. Perhaps they are beggars! In the countryside” Olivia George screamed.  “Tessa, you will pay for this, I will show you that I am from the George family!” Olivia's quivering tone was heard.  “David... I... I... thought you said she is from the countryside, her family are beggars! right? cos what in the devil's name is going on” Tessa's cheeks raised slowly.  “I forgot to introduce myself. I am Tessa Wood. From the number one mafia family in the country” “Tessa, you would be crowned the next heir to the Wood family, but you have to marry somebody from the military, that is your grandfather's last request”

CHAPTER 125

Klaus gently opened the door, the creepy noise from the opening made Tessa's heartbeat increase tremendously. Klaus was truly here just as the man predicted.

"It took you quite long to get here, I was thinking you would know immediately I kidnapped her, who would thought your sense are not sharp enough to match the tracking pendant you gave her"

The diamond pendant was a rare one, he could only think of a few people having possessions of something like this, so he thought Klaus fell on those powerful people he could think of, but unfortunately, Klaus' senses weren't even sharp enough to trace his own tracking device.

Klaus closed the door before responding to Ronin's words.

"I thought you disabled the pendant with a spell, but it seemed my senses weren't sharp enough after all"

Klaus faced Ronin fully.

"My bad for keeping you waiting"

Seeing Klaus was truly here, Tessa immediately screamed out.
