Chapter sixty three 63: PARTY

In the morning Lee woke up began to get ready, Lisa had not left either but he wasn't worried at all he took his bath, dressed up, ate and made his way to his garden as he lite up a cigarette and stared at the swan's swimming in the pond quietly, this sight brought calmness to him.

when he finished his cigarette he went back inside and picked his car keys and drove to lei's hospital, arriving there he saw lei in his office "oh wow, look who came to see me after leaving me behind once we got out of the airport."

"Don't be childish lei, how are you doing?."

"I'm good, why are you here?."

"Don't I have the right to see you anymore?."

"Hmm someone is really into me." lei smiled.

Lee glared at him as he felt irritated by his comment.

"Your fingers are shaking today, why is that?." lei said as he observed Lee's shaking hands.

"Nothing."

"Lee."

"Hmm."

"Did you smoke again?."

Lee avoided his face "Why do you think I'm here."

"Why would you do that." immediately Lei stood up and picked up his injection and ordered a nurse to bring a medicine for him.

"I have been working too much lately and there's so much pressure on me."

"Mmmhm keep going." lei said as he pierced the medicine to the injection and took out a cotton that had spirit in it, he rubbed it on the surface of Lee's skin which he intends to inject.

"I don't get enough rest and ah..."

"Sorry." Lei said as he pulled out the injection and clean the blood that popped out he placed a plaster there and went back to his seat.

"and Lisa keeps disturbing me." Lee continued his explanation.

"Haven't you told her yet?."

"No."

"She has broken enough of your so called rules so she needs to leave, you know that, she tried to drug you not even tried, she did your lucky the drug was switched that drug was harmful Lee it had chlorine and your allergic to it, you would have been really sick or worse died."

"Yh I know."

"I don't even know how they got such drug who puts chlorine in a drug that is supposed to be taken huh?."

"She messed up I know actually she came by yesterday and-."

"And?."

"I let her stay for the night."

"What!? Lee."

"We didn't sleep together."

"Doesn't matter Lee she would have done worst. Don't tell me you have taking a liking into her Lee that girl is a no no."

"I know and I don't.....I don't like her." Lee said as he rest his head for a while and slept off.

Adria woke up feeling a bit sick but still got ready, took Akio to school and help prepare for the gathering at the company. She assisted the workers to arrange the chairs and when she was done she went to her office.The company decided to make the party a small one as they didn't want much people or the media.

After some time lot of the invited company began to come and the party began, Mr lu looked around and noticed Mr Lee wasn't here, at least he expected this as he didn't even have the right to invite the boy after all he had done they began the party, Adria helped serve drinks as she had nothing doing and Mr lu told her to.

Lee woke up to an empty office he looked at his watch and sighed "shit." he stood up went to the restroom and eased himself, he washed his hand and face and walked out of the room he spoke to lei and left the place he went to his company arranged with some people and headed to the Lu's party.

Arriving there he saw the place was bubbling, he was pretty late but didn't care he strolled to a seat and there he spotted that face again the lady from that night, her hair was brushed downward and was packed in a ponytail, she wore an office clothes and held a tray filled with glasses of drinks.

Lee stood up and began to approach her but was stopped by some people as they spoke for a while, they were few of his business partners which happened to be in the party when he was done Mr lu came and they spoke but there conversation was tense as Lee kept throwing threats in a subtle manner Mr lu excused himself and let Lee speak to his friend.

"You sure have a temper my boy."

"I don't mean to but I can't stand his presence."

"I understand, but you both are partners now so you have to learn to tolerate him."

"Hmm." he said as he stared at the drink the lady held.

the man followed his line of sight "You want a drink?."

"Hmm."

"Adria." the man called out to Adria, she rushed to him and when she arrived she saw the celebrant from that party they had attended she greeted and handed them a drink but avoided Lee.

"Thanks." the man said and when adria was done serving she walked away while Lee's eyes trailed behind her.

When the man saw Lee's interest in the lady he spoke "That's our new worker."

"So she is a new worker huh."

"Yes, she just passed her accreditions and we are looking for a company to place her in for further experience."

"Hmm why don't you bring her to mine."

"Thanks for your kind offer but we can't you aren't under the company contract but a solo contract."

"But here I am in the party as member Hmm that's strange."

"Your just like your father."

"So what do you say."

The man knew no one says no to lee so he said "I'll ask Mr lu and get back to you." he said as he went to Mr lu after speaking, Mr lu looked really happy and Lee already knew he agreed so he dropped the drink which he didn't even sip or drink and stood up as the man approached him "I'll be taking my leave now it's pretty late."

"Alright my boy, it was nice having you here."

"Hmm." Lee said as he strolled out.

Adria was a bit tired as she wasn't feeling too well, she waited for the party to be over before she went home lately she and Asachi barely spoke and he was sent to another branch to take care of some problems so they didn't see each other often.

Adria finished up in the company went back home and went straight to bed.
