Chapter sixty nine 69: MY RULES

When Adria got home she was frustrated she tightened the security around the house and Akio, but she still had to uphold her part of the deal so she would go to work and Lee will often tell her things to do and when she complained that it wasn't in the rule he'll say "My rules, I make the rules now do as your told."

Asachi wasn't happy with the whole thing when he heard about it, he told her to be very careful and to file a report or something but due to the fact that he wasn't around there was really not much he could do, lately he had been traveling place which was job related.

Lisa was in a very bad state as she felt really bad for the way Lee had treated her, when insecurities kicked in she took it to press that Lee had violated her, the news stared up big problem for Lee as her die hard fans react to the news in a violent manner.

Lee and Adria were in the same car as they had a business meeting to attend, when they arrived the whole place was peaceful and the meeting went well, when they were done, they came out to enter the car just to be attacked by a bunch of people who claimed to be Lisa's fan, they targeted Lee and threw things at him, his guards tried there best to push them away but the crowd was much, they pushed at them and the guard focused more on Lee, Adria tried to protect herself but felt aggravated by the way the people acted, they threw rubbish and stones at Lee. when they were closed to the car some goons which were sent by Lisa's father joined the movement and tried to get close to lee, everyone was unaware as there main focus was on the crowd, but when they got really close to lunch there attack Adria saw them and out of instinct she pushed Lee and shielded him with her body. "What is wrong with -." Lee was about to scold at this annoying woman when he saw she had protected him and got stoned a block in the process, she passed out in his arm, he got really angry as Adria passed out in his arm he held her tightly and ordered his guys to use force on the people and ensure they were arrested, he carried Adria to the car and drove home, he call lei to attend to her injuries.

Lei was surprised to see the lady in Lee's house as normal Lee would bring her to the hospital, he checked up on her "What happened."

"I got attacked and she took the hit."

"How come?."

"Few people who claimed to be Lisa's fan."

"Lee you've got to be careful though this isn't good."

"I know."

"You appear to be getting soft and that isn't good for me or you either, you'll end up putting yourself at risk, today you were lucky tomorrow you might."

"How's she?."

"She's gonna be fine I just need to stitch her head and give her few shots."

"Hmm." Lee stared as lei attended to the lady and when he was done they stepped out.

Later in the evening Adria woke up and felt pain in her head she looked around and saw nobody, she looked around and felt strange as she wasn't familiar with this place she tried to recall how she got there but felt much pain in her head, she held onto the place she felt pain as she stood up and tried to leave the room when Lee came in, then she recalled what has happened and she also realized she was in Lee's house.

"Stay there." Lee said as he approached her with water.

Adria stared at Lee who seemed really angry but calm "What happened to me." she said but her voice was a bit rusty.

"Here drink this." Lee ignored her question, Adria drank the water and tried to stand up again "What do you think your doing." Lee asked

"I need to go back home my little baby will be waiting for me."

"You can't leave you haven't fully recovered."

"What do you mean?." Adria said, but Lee ignored her as he was really pissed. "I think I have to go or I'll be really worried about him he hasn't been alone before."

"Where you thinking about him when you tried to be the hero of the day huh." Lee screamed at her.

Adria was shocked by his attitude "What do you even mean, your so ungrateful you know."

"I never asked for it, did I?."

Adria stared at him regretting and asking herself why she even took the fall for this idiot she should have let him get hit, after a while of thinking she spoke "You know what f*** you and your stupid document, I'm leaving." she stood up to leave but everywhere spined she stood still in other to gain her balance but ended up tripping, Lee caught her in displeasure as she was about to fall and placed her back on the bed.

"Your not fit to go home yet so do yourself a favor and don't complicate matters ok." Lee said and left the place.

When he arrived down stairs he asked the butler to go prepare something for adria and attend to any of her needs. Lee walked to his study room where two guys were waiting for him.

"Have you found out who was responsible for today's event." he asked as he took his seat.

"Yes boss it was Lisa's father."

Lee frowned "Such nerves huh ok I want you to strip them from all they own, all I've given and the one's they attained themselves."

"Yes boss."

"Immediately."

"Yes sir." they said and excused themselves.

Lee sat there as he thought of how that stupid lady had taken the hit for him what if it was a bullet, how could she be so stupid, did she think life was a movie or something. He contemplated as he hated people doing him favours.

That night Adria stayed over as she received treatments, she call Akio on the phone from time to time to check up on him, and didn't see Lee till she fell asleep, Lee walked in and saw the lady sleeping peacefully and the sound of her even breathing mixed with the beep from the monitor eased the pressure he felt.

The next day she didn't even wait for the break of dawn she went back home, Lee gave her some leave till she fully recovered.
