Chapter seventeen 017: FRUSTRATED

Today was nightmares trial it went as Berlina had planed.

He got out but got back to jail, Berlina and her mom flew to Japan she received the message that nightmare was back in jail and she smiled knowingly she switched off her phone as she lend her head on her mom's shoulder, madria pat her lovingly as they both stared out the window.

IN NIGERIA

Nightmare just received bail and he was really happy, he smirked as he thought of the way he would kill Berlina. He got to his gate, while spoke to the lawyer a new roll of military cars came over he looked around in amusement thinking it was his dad but they came and grabbed him putting him in the car saying "your under arrest what ever yo-."

"What's wrong with you guys I just got bail Yusuf what's going on." Nightmare said angrily.

"I don't know honestly sir but I'll come and see you please cooperate with them." Yusuf pleaded.

"I'll kill Berlina." he hissed

Yusuf hit him and turned to the officers saying "he's going through mental stress right now please bare with him."

They drove off, arriving at the prison they threw him in jail, nightmare's people began working on the cases and immediately they got a report that they had been sued by two other people, nightmare became frustrated "it took a lot of time to deal with the first case now there three more." He thought sadly.

"How is this even possible." nightmare roared

"I don't know boss but I think that Berlina woman is really something." He said with fear.

"Get me out of here get me lawyer Yusuf go." Nightmare screamed.

"Ye...yes sir." he said as he left the place hurriedly.

Nightmare held his head looking down "Is this what frustration feels like." he said to himself.

IN ASIA

Adria drove to the airport with haru while her secret bodyguard which was shown to her at her mom's place before she arrived to Japan trailed at their back.

Immediately they got there Adria jumped out her car and ran towards the receiving area she kept looking around, every time someone came she would lighten up but when she realize it wasn't them she would be sad.

Watching her haru and the other guy glanced at each other.

"She really love her family." the other guy said to haru, explaining the reason she acted the way she did.

"I can see." haru smiled "she's meek at heart." He said.

"Hmm." The other replied.

Adria caught sight of a lady with a cap and black mask her hair was packed to the back Adria was overwhelmed she would recognize that face any where, she ran towards her and hugged her tightly.

"Urrrgh let me go!." Berlina said feeling stressed out

"No." Adria said as she rested her head on her sister's shoulder

"I'm gonna hit you if you don't." Berlina threatened Adria.

"No you won't." Adria said. Her stubbornness was beyond bound.

"Wanna see." Berlina said as she raised her hand into a fist her face void of emotions, Adria was already used to her so she knew she didn't mean any of it.

"That's enough." Berlina madria said as she hugged Adria.

When haru and the other guy saw Berlina approaching the car they bent their head in respect "your welcome boss." They said.

"Mmm." she said simply as she entered the car with her family and gave the boys sign to ride together at the car behind

They drove for a while as the airport was a bit distant

When they got to Adria's home Yan Chen and akio welcomed them with food and drinks.

"Welcome ma'am I have really heard a lot about both of you, I'm happy to see you." Yan Chen said.

Berlina was not nice neither was she cold when she said "Your the lady that accused her of killing your abusive husband right." She said as she sat down on the sofa.

Yan Chen looked down and apologized "I'm so sorry."

"It's fine I got nothing against you so be free." Berlina said as she sat down and sipped from the drink Yan Chen offered.

Adria smirked and whispered to Yan "she's like that sometimes but she's actually a nice person."

"Hm." Yan replied.

Adria smiled at her mom and sister "do you guys like it here." She asked.

"Hm so far your here we have no choice but to." Berlina said looking at the house this place looks small tho she thought to herself she took out her phone and texted haru

Berlina; Get an agent and tell him to bring pictures of nice houses not flats.

Haru; Yes ma'am

"So how have you been Adria you look a lot thinner." madria said worriedly.

"Ahhh mom it's really nothing to worry about you know. I'm fine I feel ok." Adria grinned.

"I hope your job isn't stressful." Madria said as she touched Adria's head.

"Not at all mom." Adria smiled.

"That's good to hear I really missed you." Madria said as she kissed her hair.

"Me too mom." She said.

They discussed a lot that day and eventually slept late but they enjoyed each other's company, Yan Chen eventually got familiar with them cause they were really nice towards her.

In all there stay they made sure Adria ate healthy food and they made it easy for her to go to work, Berlina would drive her to work and stay with lu jinze till she was done and they would head back home.

ON THEIR WAY HOME

"You look happy." Berlina said giving her a quick glance

"Yes I am, we just finished the last document, so now we can concentrate on the coming event." Adria smiled sweetly.

"Oh about that lu jinze told me there might be a prosponed of the event tho." Berlina said as she scratched the tip of her nose.

"But why?." Adria frowned.

"Ion know,he mentioned something like he's waiting for a special guest to arrive in town or something like that." Berlina said nonchalantly.

"Wow he didn't tell us tho." Adria said.

"Well he will but he might not give the reason." Berlina said as she smirked.

"Oh ok." Adria replied.

"What do you think about moving into a new place?." Berlina asked.

"Umm ion know I actually like where I am now." Adria said.

"Hm I know, but it a bit crowded you know." Berlina stated.

"I know but I have no money." Adria said spouting.

Berlina laughed "you have enough money alright actually the reason I bought that entire estate is to ensure a source of revenue for you." She said poking Adria's head.

"But they don't pay me." Adria said sadly while rubbing her head.

Berlina bust into laughter "and you didn't ask haru why."

Adria looked at her with a questioning look.

"Well he's the one in charge of keeping the data of payments, his also with you card." Berlina explained.

"Oh I didn't know." Adria said.

"Yh sure you didn't dumbass, after I told you to ask him whatever it is you need." Berlina taunted.

"I didn't want to bug him." Adria said.

"Yh right." Berlina said.

"There's a house haru would show you tho, for now it's being furnitured. You would decide when you want to move over to that place." Berlina said.

"Ok." Adria said.

"Me and mom would be leaving next tomorrow tho." she said as she looked at Adria.

Adria was sad "do you people really have to go." She said as she frowned in displeasure.

"Yup." Berlina said as she turned back her focus to the road.

"Alright. What about nightmares troops?." Adria asked.

"They are probably stalking a lady they think is me." Berlina smirked.

"At times I ask how do you do all these." Adria said with admiration.

"Simple I think before I act, I converse with myself and I also lend favors." she smiled "as for the money you already know that." She smiled softly.

Adria smirked "nice move tho."

"You changed a lot Adria you seem.....weak at heart these days." Berlina smile and drove faster.

When they got home madria was coaxing Yan Chen who was crying.

Adria moved swiftly to Yan Chen "what's wrong Yan." She asked with concern.

"The case is going for his favor Adria I don't know what to do." Yan Chen said feeling pains in her chest as she grabbed on th her shirt.

"Why would it go on his favor he fucking abuse you." Adria said with disgust.

"Language Adria there's a child in the house." Berlina warned as she stepped into the house.

"What happened." Berlina asked.

Adria explained what happened to her

"That's not a big deal to you Adria. Handel it." Berlina said to Adria as she went upstairs.

Adria thought for a while was she really becoming to soft that she couldn't get things done the way she did hmm Ryan's death must have really affected her she thought for a while about the situation before she turned to Yan Chen "Call the lawyer we have a witness to these violations you faced." she said as she headed towards her room.

When the lawyer came by Adria ordered haru to call few residents that lived close to Yan Chen house, they refused to involve them self as they were scared of Yan Chen's husband seems he had threatened them but Adria didn't give a single f*ck. She threatened them with their entire life family included if they don't comply or screw up she wasn't in for playing nice she hated selfish people and she didn't spare assholes.

They eventually complied and on the day of the next reading she ensured everything went well Yan Chen got the justice she deserved and her husband things were share among them.

Yan Chen also got accepted in the airplane attendant position she applied for everything went smoothly as they both went to work and took turn to takecare of akio.

They became more like a family and they went places together even the park Adria had promised to take akio they went together.
