chapter ninety 90: Escape

*Love takes time and effort, there's a long trail to achieving it*

Asachi called and while on the call he checked the garage but didn't find adria so he told Lee, Lee was fuming he ended the call as he spoke to his guards "I have a bad feeling adria wouldn't just leave this way was she angry about last night or what this bastard told her, is she tired of me? no go and find her and bring her back here no matter what search the whole city if Lisa is responsible for this or kai don't hesitate to deal with them kill anyone who is a treat do you understand?."

"Yes sir."

"Now go!!!!." Lee said impatiently, They left. They searched the whole city trying to find where adria was but they haven't seen her or her bodyguard this was really bad Lee felt frustrated as he thought maybe he was a little hard on her, she shouldn't have pushed him this much sitting on his chair he held his hair as he was in deep thought.

"Where are you adria?." he said as he felt emptiness, he was already having a hard time after there fight and just few hours after he lost them on the road, he searched her house then went straight home he also asked his guards to find her, but now she is nowhere to be found.

Nightmare made arrangements for a flight back to Nigeria, he laid next adria waiting for her to wake up.

one of his guys came in "Boss."

"Hmm." he said as he kept staring at adria who was still asleep.

"The flight is ready, I think we should leave."

"finally." he said as he stood to his feet

"should I carry her?."

"no." nightmare disagreed immediately he didn't want anyone touching his love. "I'll do it myself." he picked adria up at ease as they made there way to the cars, getting to his Audi R8 he put her inside, he was an unwelcome person in this country and he had risk his life to come get her, so alot of precaution was to be taken if they want to successfully leave the country without being noticed.

Lee was tired of receiving negative reply so he ordered his guard to get Asachi it didn't take up to two hours they arrived with the young man who has one of his glasses broken he must have struggled, seeing Lee ash spoke "I don't know what else I've done to you I've decided to let you have adria since I'm not worthy why am I being treated like this."

"your good with tracking right?." Lee asked.

"Y..yeah."

"I have a feeling that adria is going back to Africa since she can't trust anyone here or probably hurt."

"but why would she do that?." asachi frowned as she looked like someone who was coming to find Lee and apologize.

"I want you to track her number."

"I don't have my phone with me so-."

"I also have her number and we texted yesterday night so get on with it." Lee said impatiently.

Ash began to connect his computer to his coding site while at that, Lee ordered his guard to make a call and ensure there's a hold in all flight schedule and inspection is done.

Nightmare and his boys set out to there journey to the airport, adria was sound at sleep by nightmares side, after some hours of peaceful driving, they where side lined by the police, nightmare gave his boys order to handle it while the boys were handling it adria woke up adjusting her eyes to the light she heard a voice

"How are you feeling my love."

She turned to nightmare who was staring at her and then the front of the car where there was a little commotion "What's happening?."

"Oh my boys are just dealing with the police my love."

Adria said nothing as she just watched the talk between the guy and the two cops took a lot of time and when the police began to approach the car his boys tried to stop them but it made the cops a bit suspicious, Adria who sat there thought of what to do, as the cop took another step towards the car adria screamed on impulse and it attracted the police attention as they refused to stop and began to move to the car, nightmare closed adria mouth forcefully as he gave her a shot of the injection, he placed her head careful even if he was angry he didn't want to pour it out on her after all they were going to both be married.

"See what you make me do." he said to the sleeping adria as he stepped out of the car to talk to the cop and gave his guards sign to kill them the sound of the gun shot echoed waking sleeping adria she stared at the scene, the next thought she had was to escape even if she was really weak, she skillfully opened the locked door and made her way towards the forest, she tried to escape before nightmare would know she must have made a good distance but after few minutes of struggling she heard nightmare's voice screaming "Find her!." she closed her eyes as she was feeling very weak but she wasn't going to give up she kept struggling to get out of the place.

After lots of running she got to a hill and then she heard nightmare's voice "Adria!." she turned to see nightmare who looked really pissed she turned to the hill and she heard him say "Don't even think about it you won't survive a fall like that so come peaceful am already losing my cool."

"Please let me go." she pleaded as she was scared and visibly tired, nightmare took a step closer and immediately Adria fell back she landed hardly on the hill as she began to roll down the hill with force, she collided with some rock and sustained a lot of injuries but when she finally stood up she looked up the hill to see nightmare who had a grim expression not waiting for anything she turned and ran towards the bushes suppressing the pain she felt with her hand after some time she came out in a free express way, she went to the middle of the road as she begged the drivers to help her but none answered her, she felt frustrated she knew she couldn't stay there for long as she knew nightmare will surely come to get her she ran to the other side of the road as she was about to go to the nearest building she luckily saw a familiar figure at a garage, it was lei who had just got out of the mall she quickly went to him "Lei."

"A-adria what are you doing here what happened to you." he said as he scanned the hurt lady who looked really scared.

"I promise to tell you everything but please let's leave this place please Lei I beg you." she begged to get a ride lei was confused but let her in he asked her about Lee as they started riding, but she spoke about people chasing her, lei was confused but he listened patiently as he speed up his car they got to a stop as there was a hold up adria kept looking back to ensure there wasn't any threat

"Have you called Lee?."

"No I'm not with my phone and I don't want to get him involved in this." she said as there car finally moved, it was a long drive back to the city, she felt very lucky as they enter there city, she closed her eyes as she drifted to sleep lei felt pity for her he bent to pick up his phone so he could inform Lee what he could understand from adria's explanation, immediately he bent over he heard a screech sound he looked up to see that he has been double crossed he secretly dialled Lee's number as he already knew these where the guys adria was talking about.

Lei tried waking adria up but nightmare was quick as he came to the door opened it forcefully and pulled out sleeping adria, he placed her on his shoulder and she woke up immediately she began to struggle and fell to the floor and tried to get away from nightmare.

"Grab her." nightmare said as she struggled he left her to his strongest bodyguard and strolled out "kill him." he ordered as he made his way to the car.

"Please don't! please." Adria said as she was tossed in the car, she pleaded with nightmare who was next to her but his reply was.

"This will be your lessons." nightmare said as he entered the same space as she to ensure she doesn't try to get away.

"Please I beg you, I'll go willingly please don't hurt him." adria said as she recalled how nightmare killed the lady at that ball back in Nigeria.

"You already are going willingly or not." nightmare said with visible anger.

"Please."

"Shot him " nightmare gave the order adria tried to struggle so she could save lei but nightmare held her down as there car speed up.

Nightmare's guys nodded to there bosses order as they pointed a gun at lei who pleaded but they shot lei's arm in a hurry as they tried to escape the police who's sirens could be heard from a distance, they hurried to there car and drove off in a hurry.
