The day was a stressful one so Lee went straight home later and went straight to bed hoping the next day will be better.

Adria spent the whole day resting and being taken care of after Asachi was done with work he dropped by her house and bought some stuff too.

"How are you feeling." He asked worriedly.

"Good enough to start work." she said feeling pissed at Yan Chen

Asachi who understood replied "You could start tomorrow if you want."

"Sure I will I've been treated like a child today and I don't want it to be repeated." Adria folded her arms.

Asachi chuckled at her childish, his phone rang and he stood up "I think I should Leave now and you need to rest if you want to come to work tomorrow."

"Alright thanks for coming I really appreciate."

"Naaah you don't have to." he said as he left and Yan Chen trailed behind him shutting the door behind her she whispered to Adria "Goodnight and get some rest."

"Thank you." Adria replied as she went straight to bed.

In the morning

Adria woke up due to the little weight she felt on her body, she opened her eyes and saw Akio smiling face she chuckled softly "Why are you here?."

"Mommy said your going to take me to school today." he said excitedly.

Adria laughed "Alright get off me let's get ready." she said as she lifted him off her body and went to have a shower.

When she was done she brushed her hair gently and packed it up to a ponytail she wore her clothes and grabbed her keys she went down stairs and saw Akio and his mom waiting at the garage for her.

"Hello family." she smiled sweetly.

"I'll be riding with you since my car has minor issues." Yan Chen said.

"Not a problem get in." Adria said as she turned on the car.

She turned on the Bluetooth to boost her spirit she played don toliver's no idea as she dropped Yan Chen at the airport and drove to Akio's school.

"Adeya."

"Yes love."

"What's Nieria like."

"Niera? Oh Nigeria." Adria smiled sweetly "you wanna know about Nigeria?."

"Yes."

"What do you want to know?."

"Everything."

"Well if you want to know everything it's gonna take more than a day cause your gonna watch some but Nigeria is really fun you know they got big rocks and beautiful forestry but most off they got a lot of candies and yummy stuffs."

"I wanna go there!."

Adria burst into laughter "No your mom won't let you sweetie probably when your older."

"Ok."

Adria stared at the sign ahead and it said divert road blocked "Ugh what the f-." she turned to Akio to make sure he didn't get what she was about to say.

She tried calling Asachi but his phone but it wasn't going through feeling frustrated she turned off the Bluetooth and smacked the steering.

"What's wrong aunt."

"I don't know any other road here to your school Akio and this road has been blocked. I'll have to take you to my office and ask Asachi to take you to school ok."

"Alright."he said.

"Good boy."

Lee's home

Lee woke up due to the alarm clock he placed his hand on his head as it was banging too hard he stood up and took off his office clothes he was really tired that he couldn't change or shower last night.

When he got up he went straight to the bathroom brushed his teeth and took his bath when he was done he got ready for work.

When he went down stairs he had breakfast in the dining with Lisa who seemed to be in a hurry too, so they didn't have much talk.

When he was done he got into his car and drove to work, on his way he received a call

"Hello."

"Lee something is wrong."

"What?." He asked feeling less concerned.

"Your niece has been kidnapped."

Lee remained calm and didn't say a word.

"The butler said they were driving her to school and got cornered by a black suv they were young men with mask and guns they shot at the driver and they bodyguard and took her away."

"What road is that?."

"Under the bridge at the-."

"Got it." Lee said as he was familiar with his nieces school road he called the chief of officer and ordered for every road within that area should be closed down and report any thing relating to his niece.

After a while he got a call from his guys that they trailed behind the kidnappers and it seems to be Min's guys.

"Min you sure are looking for your death." Lee said as he immediately drove to the address given.

Arriving there with few police officers he cocked his gun and headed inside the place.

Entering the building they saw the little girl sitting on a chair in the middle of an empty basement, Lee was about to rush in but was held back by an officer who offered to step in first, Lee let him and as soon as he entered there was a mass shot and the officer dropped to his kneels immediately.

The other officers bust into the place and began to shoot the attackers, there was a gun fight and everything was in a slow motion to Lee as his eyes drifted from the dead police man to his little niece who had a mask on her head.

N/B: At the slow motion of the shooting Billie eilish's xanny played in the background.

He rushed to his niece and with the help of his bodyguard who formed a wall around him he was able to carry her out of the place, when they got to the car he checked if she was hurt but she was fine but seemed to be shocked by the gunshots she had heard earlier he took her to the hospital immediately Lei checked up on her and when he was sure she was ok he told Lee to let her go to school as this was an important day in school.

Lee refused but his niece disagreed so he decided to take her to school himself, he was really scared and doubled the security that followed his niece.

When Adria got to the office she realized the place was really busy and Asachi was no where to be found so she dropped her things and placed Akio on her chair while she went to look for someone.

"Sit here ok let me go ask someone another direction to your school ok." She said as she pat his head.

Akio nodded and when she was sure he was comfortable she left and went to ask her colleagues for another route to his school, after she got the answer she wanted, she rushed to her office as Akio was already late she carried him up on her body and rushed to the company car park she placed him in the back seat and entered the front and drove quickly.

Arriving at his school she saw a lot of cars, securities and the press she was really worried.

"What the f happened here." she said to herself as she drove into the school but almost hit a young man who stood in the middle of the entrance of the school.

She stopped abruptly and the screeching noise attracted peoples attention.

Lee turned back to look and saw his guards checking a car at the entrance of the school so he turned back to listen to the owner of the schools assurance.

Adria stepped out of the car and was really pissed "Do you know I almost killed you are you insane huh."

"Sorry ma'am but we are on strict orders no vehicle is allowed from this point so if you don't mind you'll have to go on foot." He said bluntly.

"Really? Ok it's fine." Adria said as she head back to her car and carried Akio in her arms and walked into the school.

When she dropped him off she headed to the headmaster's office, when she arrived at the office she saw the place was filled with guards and she wondered what the problem was. 'Was there a rubbery or something.' She thought to herself as she made her way to the office.

When the headmaster saw her he welcomed her in "Ah miss Adria please come in."

"Good day sir." She greeted.

"Good day."

"Sorry sir but if you don't mind I'll love to know what's going on here, why are they lot of security guards everywhere with arms don't you think this is too much. This will frighten the children which are here don't you think."

"Ah! yes miss Adria I do and we are working on that, the thing is that an elites daughter who comes to this school encountered an ambush but luckily survived so there trying to ensure her safety."

"Where? in school here?."

"Oh no ma'am on her way here."

"Ha that must be really bad, I hope she's ok, did they hurt her?."

"No ma luckily they got to her on time."

"That's a relieve. Alright I'll take my leave now thanks for the heads up." Adria said as she stepped out of the office. she mistakenly bumped into a young man who was really tall but quickly moved and said "Sorry." without making eyes contact as her concentration was on the call she was making. She trying to reach out to Haru to send some guards to ensure Akio's safety and inform him what happened.

Lee walked into the headmasters room as he was done talking to the owner of the school, he bumped into a little miss outside but didn't even budge as he didn't care he went in and informed the headmaster he'll be leaving.

When Adria was done with her call she headed back to her car as she spoke to herself "Why would anyone target a child, this is really pathetic."

"Of course it is ma'am, the world is a nasty place." Lei who rested his back on his car leisurely replied to her word as he was bored and didn't have anyone to pick on.

Adria looked at the young man and gave a fake smile. "Good day sir." she greeted not waiting for his reply she entered her car immediately and drove off.

Lei grinned "What a scared lady with a cool car." immediately he heard Lee's voice from a distance "We head back." Lee said as he threw him the car key.

"Oh ok." he said as he caught the keys "Where tho?."

"My office of course."

"Oh ok."

They drove to Lee's company. Lei wasn't really busy today so he accompanied Lee.
