Jack's POV.

It was a new and a fine morning in Seattle. The place I could call home after a long period of staying away from here.

I was excited that I had returned to Seattle because if I was still in Africa, I wouldn't have gotten the chance to see Abby.

"Good morning sir. Your meal is ready sir" I turned to the door side and saw that it was my personal cook who was talking to me.

Finally, I got to the company and when I parked my car and climbed out of it, I saw Kate standing close to a black Range Rover which I was certain that it wasn't hers.

"Hey Jack" She came closer to me with her hands crossed in front of her tummy.

"Hi Kate! What are you doing here?" I asked, looking around.

"You look lost, Jack. I thought you were supposed to be heading over to the school and not a company" she mocked my personality because she felt I was just a professor.

"You are right Kate, this isn't the school, right?" I smiled, knowing that she was a fool.

She felt I was solely a mere professor in one of the most popular universities. Little did she know that I had more to that I was more than that.

"I am always right Jack and if you don't mind, I would love to introduce you to my husband" She announced as she went over to where a man In green suit was standing.

I watched her go closer to him and watched her bring him back to where I was standing and waiting for her stupidity to surface.

"So Jackson, meet my charming and handsome husband Felix" She placed her hand on his right shoulder as she leaned on his body.

"Felix, meet Jackson my old time friend" She said to her husband who was close to her.

"Felix Walker?" I asked looking amazed at the view of who was Kate's husband.

"Oh you know my husband, I guess you are not that dumb after all" She teased me.

"Stop it Kate, you wouldn't want me to lose this deal with them right?" Felix, her husband, whispered into her ear.

"What do you mean lose the deal? He doesn't know anyone in this company, so there is nothing to be afraid of" She spoke without minding her words.

"He owns the company, Kate. He is the CEO of the company" Her husband as she said explained to her and immediately, she turned looking at me like she had seen a ghost.

"I guess you are the one who had lost after all Kate. I will see you in the next twenty minutes Mr. Felix Walker" I shook his hand as I walked out of their sight.

"Her husband runs a small company that needs funds to survive? Kate … you won't stop being a fool would you" I murmured as I walked into the company.

"Welcome sir" My assistant immediately helped me take off my jacket when I stepped into the company.

I noticed that Kate and her husband were walking behind me and trust me, I had to act like the true boss just to show her that I wasn't supposed to be dumped by her.

I got into my office and had kept on laughing like I was insane when I suddenly saw my baby girl sitting on my executive chair behind my desk.
