11: A Fated Battle

Everyone including the civilians that where left behind could only be staring at a monster in human skin. "So your a demon huh? It seems as though your a threat not only to me but this whole kingdom", the silver knight was the first to talk after witnessing the battle.

"Nah not necessarily, just not fully human." But before anyone else could speak the silver knight drew his golden blade and stormed at Azuriah with astonishing speed. Even Az was a bit surprised at how fast he was moving, but he managed to drift past his blade just barely, but he still got slit on the cheek.

"So your the big bad huh, hey Rou, deal with the other guy. I won't be able to save you this time so you better not lose." That's when Rou's eyes flashed towards the last knight. "So can we go to another location or do I have to launch you there?" "No need. I won't be fighting today."

Rou's eyes could only flare up, "No way in hell would I miss captains fight." "Hm, so be it, hey Az he said he won't fight." But before Az could say something back he felt a punch land straight into his gut.

"Talking in the middle of a life or death situation is the first step to hades door." Then the silver knight kicked him straight into the jaw launching him miles in the other direction.

As Az landed in a building he said, "You felt that to Aries." *He should be around the level of Meliodas at the start of the series, meaning he will be an extremely tough opponent.* "Yeah he's strong as hell." But slowly getting back to his feet Az said, "But I hate losing." Then materializing his wings Az flew back at speeds faster than most would see.

Before finally landing down causing a massive crater, "I won't be holding back anymore just so you know." Az's eyes began to turn red before fire and light overpowered Az covering his whole body and wings making fiery armor with tints of light that even covered his bandaged face. It looked like a devastating firestorm had completely covered his body.

All those hour spent in the stadium really paid of. "This is Flame God Amaterasu, combining my mana together with my flame and light manipulation gave me a transformation able to enhance all of my physical stats."

With these stats I became stronger than the human icicle, though I can only use the transformation for 5 minutes before I really start feeling the heat.

But that should be more than enough.

So making a fiery blade I once again charged at the knight but this time with the help of multi step. So of course he couldn't track me, leaving himself wide open for a slash straight to the abdomen.

As soon as he felt the intensity of the blade he screamed out. "What... what is this." From below the last knight of the trio could be seen shuddering in fear. "The captain never screams!!!" Suddenly screaming with a thunderous voice, but he should have saved his breath.

Azuriah quickly followed up with more attacks, but despite the injury the knight faced he could still weave and react. He was a fine swordsman's with elegant moves, even though he was injured he still outclassed Azuriah in the way of the blade.

But that was all he could do, he was completely dominated in all physical aspects. So in the fight he was only able to parry Az's attack and kick him back to create space.

"Your the best opponent I've faced in a while, you've earned the honor to learn my name. It is Axel the head knight in the kingdom of Danaford." "Axel huh, well I'll make sure to remember your name after I beat the hell outta you."

I have only about 2 minutes left, I have to finish it now.

"I'm running out of time here so how about we finish this." "I was thinking the same thing."

The two monsters then proceeded to clash, the sound of blades striking each other thundered across the whole kingdom causing strong winds to encompass the whole area.

But after the dust settled all that was left was a fiery silhouette slashing upwards cutting off Axel's hand. Az then proceeded to grab his collar and punch him into the ground making a deep whole.

Shocked expressions where seen on Rou's and the last knight's faces. That's when suddenly a smile appeared on Rou's face, "You actually managed to survive huh, good to see you with your head on your shoulders."

"Yeah yeah it's all in a days work." Slowly returning to the ground releasing his transformation.

"You...You don't know you've done you idiots!!! We're all dead! DEAD! HE'S ABOUT TO BECOME WHAT HE HATES THE MOST AND ONCE HE DOES EVERYONE WILL DIE!!" In a shaky but loud voice signaling the fight is just beginning.

"Can you just shut up, I beat the hell outta your leader if you want some to just-" But before he finished his sentence Az felt something in his chest. Proceeding to look down he saw a dark purple hand piercing his heart.

His as well as all onlookers eyes widened at the sight. Slowly turning his end back he saw Axel with a dark purple scar coming from the left side of his face down together with black eyes. His former black hair became gray. *Azuriah you must retreat immediately, this is a threat that you can't handle yet.*

Instantly Azuriah understood what he was, he's a demon.
