10: Fighting The Knights

{2 Hours Before The Fight}

We finally arrived at Danaford, it was a long journey but we finally made it.

We really should have got here a lot sooner but with all the training we did we always exhausted ourselves. So we couldn't travel.

"Finally, this took way to long." I agreed with Rou.

"It may have but at least we got the thing we needed the most. Strength." "Hm. You really are all about strength aren't you", he said with a smile.

But I soon started to move forward trying to enter the gate before I was stopped by the knights guarding the gates.

"Holy shit!! You guys freaking stink!!" "Where you been sleeping!"

We didn't exactly smell the best since all we did was travel in the burning sun and train for hours. We always bathed in the river, a river filled with shit.

Rou was the first to speak, "Yeah we smell a bit shit but just let us in you pricks."

"HUUHHHH! You know who you talking to right now!" "We're the damn holy knights! Servants of the great King Ruther!!" "You dare to insult us!"

Charging at us like a bunch of idiots me and Rou could only be dumbfounded at how stupid they are.

They tried hitting Rou but he dodged all of them beautifully, one by one he moved in between hits looking at each passing fist in slow motion. Before catching one there fists and dislocating his shoulder.

"AHHHHH!" "No need to scream you pack of pussies, no one will hear you." That's when he swiftly hit his chin knocking him out clean before turning his attention to the other knight. "Now, you've seen a glimpse of what I can do so will you open it or do I have to break you?"

{Back at The Fight}

"Hm. You managed to catch my blade? Only those two behind me are capable of something like that."

"Underestimating others is a sign of weakness you know." "Oh, how so?" "It shows your mentality is like that of a chicken."

Rou then proceeded to kick him straight in the stomach launching him through a few food stands, but as the smoke disappeared you could see River blocking his stomach with his right arm.

"Heyyyy!! Everyone here, if you want to live then run away as far as you can!!"

Everyone in the vicinity then started sprinting for their lives, pushing against each other trying to run away from a scary battle. Most left their food shops but some still tried to save whatever they could

"I believe it's common courtesy to exchange names in a battle, mines Rou." "River."

That's when both of them flash stepped into a straight hand to hand battle. Rou was actually on the back foot when it came to straight hand to hand, most of the training he did with Az was mainly swords and mana control but he was still going blow for blow with river each other perfectly. They where flying everywhere around the market.

That's when a low kick thrown from river landed directly on Rous leg he became stagnated. Leaving him no time to recover River charged towards Rou who was really starting to feel the pressure, but he was always on pressure when fighting Azuriah. So he was able to work his way around River's intense fighting style by staying low to the ground and looking for openings which he found, then taking his chance he landed he uppercut straight into River's liver.

"Damn it!" River was the first to bleed before then receiving a hook straight to the chin.

He flew straight into a double story house before getting up in the bathroom.

"Not bad Rou, you actually managed to hold your own." "Shut up Az lets see you do something."

"You think River is done?" Quickly our attention turned to the white armored knight. "You really know nothing."

That's when suddenly River completely leveled the house before levitating in the air. That's when I realized what he really was. He wasn't just a hand to hand fighter, but also a mage.

Before we even had a chance to further think of what to do he materialized a fire spear before hurdling towards Rou with great speed.

But before he could land the spear into Rous heart, Azuriah caught the burning spear.

"Always needing me to save you, ain't that right princess."

"Damn you bastard."

Everyone had a surprised look as I was holding the burning spear, not expecting me to be that strong. But surprisingly I was stronger than Rou, especially with the new skills I obtained from the monsters in our way here.

"So a left or right? Your pick." Dumbfounded from what I said River could only say, "what?"

Before he was gut punched with my knee, the grabbing his collar I cracked him in the jaw. But he was able to recover before flying back up and charging a lightning attack then quickly launching it at me striking down on the light shield I made. So after the attack I grew out my bat wings then flew up making my light sword and slashing his eye leaving a scar.

"AHHHHH" But River knew he couldn't give up yet so he made purple orbs each on his finger tips, "Laser of the Purple god!" Five lasers came at me but I reacted quickly spawning a fire orb around me. "Not bad. But it's my turn." That's when with the fire I made seven foxes appeared, "Seven foxes of retribution." Fire Foxes charging at River hit its target making a massive explosion. Everyone including Rou was shocked to see the strength I used. It made him start to think that he was greatly holding back on him.

Floating down with River on my shoulder I said, "So who's next?"
