Matter of Weakness

"Warning! Warning! The Base is under attack! All are advised to evacuate to the ground Exodus!" The robotic alarm kept resounding through the whole area.

We followed Hector through. "Hey! What's happening?!" Carlo asked as we ran along with him.

"The base is in a dangerous situation." He answered quickly.

"Hurry!" Fear and panic are written all over their faces as they run. But guys wearing white masks still kept them at bay, so that they would not cause a heavy stampede.

I could see all the people here are also packing up as they run in a certain direction backward.

"What is ground Exodus?" I asked.

"That's the strongest ground of the base. It is surrounded by thick walls but the reason we called it ground Exodus is that it is the center of all the tunnels in the city. That is the best place if the base falls and everyone needs to escape." Hector answered as we continued our run.
