Ch9: Saving A Life.

"Please someone help me!" The dying soldier screamed as he backed against the wall.

I watched from the far left corner to see what was happening, apparently a soldier got himself stuck into a sticky situation with a small pack of six young scp 939, how do they look young you may ask?, well they are small and Seem frail looking, the soldier could easily kill them if he wasn't so badly injured.

On closure exception, the soldier seemed to be bleeding from a wound on the right side of his chest.

I shouldn't get myself involved in this mess, I began backing away, but then the soldier cried for help one last time.

"Please, someone, anyone help me." The soldier shouted, his voice was as if he was crying.

This sent a strange feeling into my body, a feeling I could not get rid of, how can I leave that man be?, he will die in the hands of beasts.

Even if I do leave him, I can't guarantee that I will be able to leave this place in one piece, that fight already put a strain on my body, it was only thanks to the system that I survived.

With any second thoughts, I ran towards, I quickly grabbed my rifle from the floor and the moment I came out of the corner, I began firing an onslaught of bullets at the dangerous beast.

Several of my shots missed while some of them hit the target, I continued to fire at the monsters with fury, trying to get as many shots as possible.

Suddenly I heard a voice behind me but as I turned my heard I was too late, one monsters had sneaked past me by climbing on the ceiling and attacking from the behind, it pounced at me causing me to lose my balance and fall down onto the floor, the monster my back with its claws causing me to wince in sheer pain.

I grabbed the the rifle, and slammed its butt into the animals face as hard as I could, this caused the thing to loose it's grip on me, using this newfound opportunity I turned the rifle onto it face and fired.

The body of beast fell to the ground and a familiar disembodied voice spoke:

[You have Levelled up.]

[You have reached level 5.]

[You have gained 10 attribute points.]

[You have gained 5 skill points.]

[You can evolve.]

I tried not pay attention to it because of the current situation I was but a part of me was wondered what it had meant by evolve and why had he just levelled up now why had he gained fewer skill points and attribute points then before, he had killed two more before killing this one and yet he was still confused.

I continued firing bullets at the wild beasts when suddenly the bullets stopped firing.

"Crap!, NOT NOW!!!" I yelled.

Seeing this opportunity, all remaining three wild beasts lunged towards causing me to fall down onto my back.

They then continued claw, scratch and bite at me, it was all very painful, I was in complete agony, it felt terrible.

But with skill (Focus Thought)Lv. 2, I yelled in my brain to spend half of my attribute points in vitality while the other half in strength.

As the sudden feeling of overwhelming strength filled my body, I burst through the grips of the monster, this caused the monster to be temporarily stunned.

I quickly activated my skill (Sprint)Lv. 3 and ran at closet one of creatures and then used used my skill (Focus Strike)Lv. 2 to punched it right in the neck which caused its neck to break and instantly die.

I then ran up to the one that was on the floor, and then crushed its head with leg.

I turned my head towards the last one, the thing saw me and tried run but I managed to catch and snap it's neck before it get any further.

I limped towards the guard, bloody and beaten, but before I could go any further I fell onto the floor.
