Chapter 24 - The Sensing
Everyone grasped the meaning behind the guard's words.
"We should test it out."(Asahi)
"I agree."(Akio)
"You boy, what's your name?"(Bakugo)
"Uzumaki Shin, at your command, Third Elder."(Shin)
"Then Shin, remember, whatever happens inside this room, you are forbidden from leaking outside. You can take it as a joint order from all of us."(Bakugo)
"Yes, Third Elder, I Uzumaki Shin swear to follow your command."(Shin)
"Good, now use whatever sensing technique you used and focus on him." Said Elder Bakugo while pointing at Sen.
Sen POV
As I saw the ninja make hand signs I realised I had one more thing to practice.
Then I felt the feeling of being watched again, as I focused on the sensation I felt something else, but before I grasped it the feeling of being watched vanished and I lost my focus.
'I just needed a little longer.'
I opened my eyes and looked at the ninja and said
"Mr. Shin, can you do that again please, and keep the technique going for a while."
He turned to look at the Clan leader as if asking for permission.
"Do as he said." (Akio)
After receiving permission he made the hand signs and started the technique again.
As I focused again I once again felt the sensation of something else and I focused on it.
It was in the front room.
I got up and went to where I felt the feeling coming from and found a box.
I opened it and found a sealing scroll inside, I unfurled it.
And I stood there shocked looking at what I saw inside.
Grandpa's voice woke me up
"What is it Sen?"
"Grandpa... "I said handing him the scroll I continued".... I felt this."
"What is it?"(Asahi)
He gestured for Shin to go out and after he left Grandpa spoke
"It's the 'Hiraishin' seal he made before he went to sleep."(Bakugo)
After a slightly astonished look, Aunt Asahi recovered and spoke
"Looks like we finally have someone who can use this jutsu."(Asahi)
"Moving on, we will talk about this later. For now Akio you need to prepare some chakra metal we will use it to make a permanent receiving formation."(Ashina)
"Yes!"(Akio)
"Now we need to get the map from Mito's hands, without arousing any trace of suspicion from Konoha."(Bakugo)
"Then we need a reason to visit Konoha and Mito."(Asahi)
"Has the next nine tails jinchuurichi candidate been chosen?"(Ashina)
"Yes, Uzumaki Kushina, currently 3 years old, is selected."(Akio)
At his words, Aunt Asahi erupted in anger
"You can't be serious!?"(Asahi)
"Why? What's the matter?" I asked feeling confused at her outburst.
"Kushina is his daughter."(Ashina)
"Then why did you choose her Uncle?"(Sen)
I couldn't help but ask, after all, why would he send his daughter to another village
"Even if not for this matter, it would still be her as she awakened Admantine sealing chains naturally."(Akio)
"Since her mother died at childbirth and I am busy with clan duties. And because of her position as my daughter she has no peers to associate."(Akio)
"She has no family to take care of her except Asahi who visits her sometimes, I hoped sister Mito could be the mother figure for her."(Akio)
"Very well, since Akio has made his decision then we should proceed with it as soon as possible."(Ashina)
"What is the plan?"(Bakugo)
"Simple since we will most likely be monitored in the Konoha village and we can't risk being under a Hyuga's eyes, we will simply leave a 'Hiraishin' symbol to Sister Mito. (Asahi)
"I am sure she will recognise it."(Sen)
"We are counting on that."(Ashina)
"When does Sen use it?"(Asahi)
"I will just monitor it and the day it stops changing positions is the day I will go."(Sen)
"Good we will proceed with that."(Ashina)
"Meanwhile, I will collect all the clan treasures to be moved."(Akio)
"No, we can't take everything as it will be too obvious."(Sen)
"But we can't leave behind our sealing techniques to our enemies."(Bakugo)
"We must."(Ashina)
"Yes, but whatever we leave behind must make them believe it is the heritage of Uzumaki clan."(Akio)
"So what do we take and what do we leave?"(Bakugo)
"I think it is best to take away all the spirit-based sealing techniques."(Sen)
"We can also take away all the combat seals, nobody has used them in the battlefield the last few decades."(Asahi)
"What about chakra ones?"(Akio)
"Leave behind the seals for sealing tailed-beasts, but have them fragmented so it looks like we made a last-ditch attempt to destroy them."(Asahi)
"We will leave behind two-thirds of the shinigami masks, since we are going into hiding we won't need so many."(Ashina)
"Leave a pile of money with a large amount of completely burned paper, some half-burned paper notes and a few usable ones."(Asahi)
'That's so evil, making them feel most of the money was burned.'
"That's all for now, we will finish up with the details later."(Ashina)
"You can all leave now, we will talk at the clan meeting."(Ashina)
"Yes./Okay~"(Bakugo/Asahi)
"Uncle, I will assign Shin as Sen's personal guard."(Akio)
"Do as you see fit."(Ashina)
"Then I will take my leave, see you later Sen-kun."(Akio)
After talking to Grandpa for a while, I left him alone.
Two days later the convoy with Kushina Uzumaki departed the village.
During these two days, I was testing out my newfound capabilities and trying to use 'Flying Thunder God' jutsu while sometimes I found Shin in his hiding places keeping a watch over me.
When I asked him to join me, he said he was more used to being out of sight.
I also found out I can slightly control the natural energy around me and as I was practicing controlling them today Mr.-trying-to-be-invisible Shin suddenly appeared before me and asked with a shocked voice
"What did you do!?"(Shin)
"Nothing," I subconsciously defended myself as I thought about any pranks I might have played on him.
"Then why did you just disappear from my senses."(Shin)
"When?"(Sen)
"Just now."(Shin)
"Now, now?"(Sen)
"Yes."(Shin)
"How were you sensing me?"(Sen)
"Through the sensing jutsu I showed you before."(Shin)
'Oh ho ho, looks like I just got something new up my sleeve.'
I thought as I grinned in my mind even as my face remained expressionless.
