When the fifth attack landed, the bone wall crumbled.
Four figures appeared with more than a thousand bandits behind them.
But when this four bandits lookied in front, they paled.
Not giving them time to react, the ten twilight knights inmediatly rushed at them, these four bandits had power comparable to monsters at the Great Lord Rank, there was nothing they could do to resist.
Even a hundreds of elite players wouldn't be enough to face one of such a Great Lord. However such a Great Lord couldn't handle a single knight, much less ten.
The bandits behind were prepared to run, but not before a large black typhoon engulfed some of them.
-163,310
-158,003
-322,340 Critical Hit
More than 50 bandits were affected by the spell, and most of then died in the first attack.
However, the spell displayed it's might as a Tier 2 spell, it attacked a total of five times.
When the spell dissipated, no bandit in the area remained alive.
His spell completion rate was at 88% for the shadow typhoon.
A huge firestorm injured or killed dozens of bandits as Ifer used his large scale spell.
Garo, along the knights and wolves chased the bandits that only focused on running.
The twilight knigths had almost finished the bandit leaders, they would then protect the gates from any bandit that wanted to run away.
Leroy actively chased the bandits too, he couldn't let them go, or else if something happened and they informed someone else, he may fail.
That was the reason he sent her personal guard to the mountain, he saw a person looking over the town there from the raven.
Inside the town, he didn't have problems finding out the bandits, either they were running in plain sight or hidding in the already destroyed buildings.
Leroy could easily defeat a Great Lord by himself, the bandits were no different than rats.
The bandits did their best to escape, but with Leroy Garo and Ifrit separating, they didn't have much chance.
Even when they arrived at the three town gates, knights in dark armor made them run again with their auras alone.
One must know that even if called a town, it couldn't even compare to a starter town.
It only had a few buildings on it and most of them were either damaged lr destroyed by the bandits.
The buildings that remained in good shape were actively destroyed by Leroy and his guards, just in case a bandit hide there.
Because of his high skill completion rate, his spells leveled up quickly.
All of them were between 95 and 100% completion rate, except for the new Shadow Typhoon, Absorb Agi which were slightly lower.
The other exception was his dark spear, which was now at a shocking 106%.
On the other hand, if one could archieve a 85% of skill/spell completion rate, it was enough to be called a expert.
'Other than the dark spear, the other spells still feels quite unnatural and without much more purpose. Maybe it is because I need to give them one?' Leroy tought about how his spells completion rate didn't increase when he saw something from his raven that got attention.
In the middle of the town, a bandit entered a building.
This alarmed him inmediatly. 'Secret passage?'
Leroy used every mean he had to increase his speed and rushed to the building. He also sent a Ghost Wolf nearby that building to chase down the bandit.
It took him a minute to enter the building, he followed the aura of the wolf and arrived.
The wolf sat besides the corpse of a bandit in front of a door.
Seeing what happened, Leroy couldn't help but laugh with relief.
"Even in death, you only think of this..." Leroy said.
Most bandits did their best to pass trough the gates or climb the walks. Unfortunely, the damage they took when they were gathered behind the bandit chiefs was massive.
They were exterminated in a short minutes.
But this one bandit died misserably in front of the treasury...
There were only 1,000 gold coins, 120 Tier 1 scrolls, 30 Tier 2 ones, 1,300 magic crystals, and 1,100 Tier 1 gemstones.
Without thinking twice he took everything.
At this moment, his personal guard arrived.
"That person was quite fast, he dropped this.." She said and passed him a letter.
Leroy took it read it, a smile formed on his face.
It was a letter that could be used as evidence, why would bandits attack a town that was just being constructed?
The letter implicated a certain Duke as the one behind their attack.
"Floquer you better improve your rewards now" he said.
If the marquis didn't increase the rewards that he would receive, he might as well just blackmail that Grand Duke.
Every bandit has been killed, Floquer should send some guards in the next hours or day.
With no more bandits around, he unsummoned his guards and creatures and took a city return scroll.
A quest that was meant to be completed in a few days and was supossed to be impossible, as it could only involve a single player was completed by him just like that.
Only someone with a high favorability with Cerret and Heartfield could trigger the quest.
Such a thing wasn't expected until players reached a much standards.
Once at the Guild Residence, he sent Ifer to inform the marquis that the quest haa succeded.
Less than an hour after, Floquer has arrived at his office.
"Thank you, thank you mister Sensations" Floquer said repeatedly with a grateful face.
"It is nothing, but I wish to change the reward conditions" Leroy said and waited for his reaction.
"Conditions?..." Floquer didn't expect his words.
"I'll go to the point. I found evidence that the bandits were hired by a Duke. If marquis presents it to the Imperial Court, you won't only be rewarded but probably promoted. Furthermore you coul get rid of a powerful enemy" Leroy explained.
"This... was it Duke Kirol?" Floqued asked.
Leroy nodded, it seemed that the Marquis had his suspicions already.
"I knew he would plan something when he lost the town!" The marquis gritted his teeths.
"If I become a Duke, I can give you the title of Count. And instead of the town shares, would you prefer a City Building Order? It can only be constructed in Neutral Maps though." The marquis gave his offer.
"To construct a city? Where?" Leroy interest was picked.
"Yes, anywhere as long as it is a neutral map in the surrounding area of the empire" Floquer said.
"Very well, here is the letter, it even has the Duke's personal seal. It also involves a few more people" He gave him the letter and as the marquis read it, his expression changed between shock, realization and anger.
"Thank you again, with this, the empire will get ride of many scum at once. I'll give you the rewards tomorrow, I'll go to the Imperial Court right now" Floquer said and left in a rush.
After a while, Robb sent him a message.
It seemed that a town has appeared in Star-Moon City and various other kingdom and empires a few hours ago.
Currently all the big guilds in Star-Moon Kingdom were competing for the town, it was located close to a dungeon were monsters dropped Magic Crystals.
Zero Wing also joined the fray.
Leroy response was simple, you can join if you want, I've important things to do.
He choose to wait for Floquer's reward, even if another guild captured the town, couldn't they recapture it?
While waiting, he synthesized more gemstones.
He was selling tier 3 gemstones through varios channels when he received news about the other team members leaving the Trial of Gods.
They were currently on their way to Black Dragon City.
He waited for some time when a group of people arrived at his office in the guild residence.
"You are finally out" Leroy said and looked at the team of six.
He asked Robb to separate this group. He didn't want them to join Raven Sanctuary from the beginning.
Robb nodded and everyone started sharing their experiences in the Trial of God. Aparently one of them found a door with lots of colors in the fields, they opened it and entered without hesitation.
Leroy was surprised when hearing their gains from that place and even wondered if he should just look for those doors.
Aeden obtained a hidden class and magic weapon, he became a magic gunslinger and showed off two steampunk fireweapons.
He could switch between three elements when attacking or even physical attacks, his damage wasn't particulary high but his attack speed was insane.
Then there was BoyWonder, or just Wonder as they called him. He was a bersker that obtained quite a few hidden stats and a fragmented legendary warhammer. His damage was huge.
Trafford, who already had the Space Mage beforehand, obtained many new skills and tools. Altough his damage output was on the lower end, only an idiot would said he had low combat capabilities. His short range space magic made him probably one of the best support classes.
There was the bard, Kaydara, she was no lifestyle player, her stackable buffs could increase players attributes greatly and she even had the ability to heal to a certain degree. Her class only downside would be the low area that her skills could reach.
And lastly but not less important was Katakuri, the lightning mage. Mainly a single target damage dealer, his movement speed would leave even top assassins in shame.
Along with Robb, Mark and Olympus, they formed the core of the Dream Chaser Team.
Of course he could also count Elise and Felicity but they choose to create a guild for lifestyle classes.
"... and like that, more than 100,000 players died before he captured it"
Robb was talking about his experience in the battle for the town. Ye Feng used the bosses inside the to deal with a massive amount of players outside.
Robb was a bit disappointed that he only managed to kill something above 2,000 players.
He was the only member of the team that choose to participate in the battle.
Olympus and Mark were doing their stuff, while the rest hadn't left the trial at that time.
Luckily, the room was big enough, because four more people arrived.
"Are you sure you want to sell all these tier 2 gemstones?" Elise said, she was accompanied by Felicity, Mark and Olympus.
Leroy looked at them and nodded.
He managed to buy a piece of land in Black Dragon City Center.
He didn't plan on managing a shop or something but it was necessary for their guild.
Elise had already named the shop as Golden Dream shop, taking the Golden from their Golden Hands guild, and Dream from the Dream Chaser Team's name.
Everyone chatted and laughed while drinking and eating. There was a reason why experts gathered, it was lonely at the top.
Mark has just broke through to the Void Realm. Kaydara with only twenty two has already been on that realm.
Robb didn't have as many oportunities as his younger brother and was at the peak of the flowing water realm just like Olympus and Trafford.
The rest were at the refinement realm, either because of lack of resources or laziness as it was Katakuri's case.
Everything was laughs and fun until Olympus dropped a bomb.
"And when are you two getting married? Don't forget to invite me" He said and everyone followed his gaze, landing on Mark and Elise.
Both of then blushed and Elise looked at Mark as if looking for a response. Mark started sweating.
Elise understood she shouldn't put much pressure on him but instead dropped another bomb.
"When are YOU getting married?" She looked at Olympus and then her gaze turned to Robb.
Robb's face was red like an apple while Olympus mouth was wide open.
Leroy and Mark spitted out their drinks at the same time.
Elise revealed a victorious smile.
"I-..We haven't.. tought of that, maybe when Leroy gets married too" Olympus found his words and tried to redirect the attention.
But Leroy and Felicity didn't even looked at him and she said "When the time comes..."
Seeing them get along and talk of this, Kaydara let out a sigh.
Katakuri looked at her with interest but it was Wonder, his rival, the one to open his mouth first.
"It seems that Kaydara already has someone in mind"
The attention turned to the new member but she said with a calm expression
"Maybe if team leader recruits a pretty girl"
Her response made Katakuri look away while Wonder was at lost for words with an ugly expression on his face.
Their reaction didn't escape the rest and everyone laughed again.
