"Do you know, Fariz?" Elizebeth spoke to Fariz while walking tiredly to the front door of the cave.
"Yes?" The slightly small dragon asked at her side.
"Did you know, 'may you live in interesting times' was considered a curse in ancient Greece?"
"Really?" Fariz humored her in his flat tone, wagging his tail at the sudden foreign pop quiz.
"Yeah."
Slowly, they saw the light of the outside world.
"Finally we are here where we should be." She mumbled alone.
Fariz shifted his eyes to Elizebeth's back head which was covered with a hoodie. "Hope you find pleasure in this battle."
Her eyes scrunched up ever so slightly that Fariz couldn't tell if she was really smiling or not.
"Maybe. As long as I can play with him to relieve myself from the old misery."
Fariz cleared his throat guiltily and looked away.
