The hot sun slowly moved as the cool evening greeted them. It's almost dusk. The dim sky was wiping off the light on the sky. Kay already rested inside the carriage half dead in front of her.
"You are good, buddy?" She put down her book at last. The light inside the carriage was automatically on with magic.
"No, I'm not. Spending my day squishing every cloud available, I'm wrecked." He whined. His chest moving up and down rather frantically.
"Take a breather. You are breathing too fast." She coaxed him. "Well done."
"Dead tired." He whined again.
"Told you, exercise can make things different." She tossed dry bread to him.
He caught it and whined again. "Dry bread? Really?"
"We are traveling and they are fighting. They don't have the luxury to cook for me or to find decent food. We need to settle down on bread for now." She flicked his forehead as she manducated the bread.
