It was only after Damian had crossed half of the distance between him and the Null that the attention of the others were picked. And this, unfortunately, included the Variant Null.
Its black eyeballs shifted to Damian and before it could even react, a punch was already approaching it head. Even so, the punch was only approaching, but had never reached its destination.
And this, gave the Variant Null the opportunity to react just as quickly, sending out a punch.
BANG!
A frightening shockwave shot out from the point of collision between Damian's and the Null's fists, nearly knocking even Valerie and Claire off their feet.
Damian frowned, his eyes falling on his trembling hand. Just now, the strength behind the punch of the Null had suppressed his and even pushed him five steps backwards.
