Chapter 77: Blood Bank.

The heavy sound of the rain droplets pouring against the rooftops resounded across Xavier and Sophie's ears as they leapt from building to building on their way to the nearest hospital.

Xavier let out a sigh of relief at the fact that his supply bag was water proof as the rain poured down on it.

Inside, both his phone along with Sophie's were connected to a wireless charger. Xavier was surprised when she even pulled out her phone in the first place.

"The flood is getting worse." Sophie muttered. "At this rate the city will be completely flooded in no time..."

"Yeah..." Xavier responded as he glanced down.

Even with all the sewers around, the flood was on growing exponentially, the roads were filled with floating corpses and trash.

The stream of water was even red in some parts because of all the blood which was picked up. The sight was quite hard to take in. There was no telling when things would get better or even if they'd get better.
