Chapter 8 - Dragon God

------Ken POV

After Qingyue opened up to me, she was still shy and reserved but at least she wasn't cold. She has been amending her mistakes, mainly her miscommunication with her family.

The more I talked with Qingyue, the more I learnt about her. Compared to her cold image she portrays; she has many hobbies such as fishing and swimming but she has been suppressing her hobbies so she could keep cultivating.

I sighed in pity when I heard about how she basically suppresses her basic nature of a human to cultivate more.

(Morning)

As usual, I woke up to an extremely ambiguous position which could be mistaken in so many ways. Not that anyone would see this beautiful scenery anyway.

I'm quite excited for today, I will start training my new bloodline abilities and I'm particularly interested in Amaterasu.

I mean, what if you were to use Amaterasu to refine someone's body or profound veins? And they were strong enough to withstand it. Maybe they might become extremely overpowered or crippled.

Well, I haven't tested Amaterasu yet, just haven't had the time. Qingyue is starting to become more and more dependent on me ever since I helped her with her family.

Ying'er and Xi'er told me that Qingyue was going to need a new cultivation manual, mainly because the current cultivation manual she's using requires her to have a frozen heart. Quite a heartless technique really.

Ying'er provided a cultivation manual for her, it was quite easy, considering she was the Brahma Monarch Goddess.

Qingyue was now cultivating a God Hydra manual, we found her affinity with water was extremely high which made her perfectly compatible. No wonder she liked fishing and swimming.

(A/N: There weren't affinities in Against the Gods I think but I'm gonna introduce them coz it makes a lot more sense for talent and crap like that)

Comparing her cultivation now compared to before was like the difference between China and USA. She also didn't need to forsake her emotions and lifespan for a higher cultivation speed.

_

Ying'er walked out from the bath with a towel then looked at me, "Ken, today we're going to familiarize yourself with this planet."

I nodded my head before I dressed myself with my usual white-silver crescent moon robe.

"Ohhh, look at my handsome little Ken," she looked at me with a loving smile before coming over to hug me, then she squeezed my butt.

In return, I squeezed her butt back and she gave a slight moan then looked at me with a lewd smile.

I quickly escaped out of here before things got any crazier, this was not healthy for my 9-year-old body.

After Ying'er had cooled down, she brought out a flying golden disc that hovered above the ground.

I went to go tell Xi'er and Qingyue goodbye before hopping on the disc with Ying'er and going off to explore our planet and test out my new bloodline abilities.

We went for a light skim over the Blue Cloud Empire then moved onto the Wasteland of Death, where Shen Xi and I first arrived.

I looked down toward the everlasting sand with a nostalgic smile reliving the first day I had arrived on this planet.

Ying'er frowned then said, "I feel the aura of something very powerful and dragon-like."

I snapped out of memory lane then I also took a deeper look at the Wasteland of Death, except this time I used my Rinne-Sharingan to get a deeper look.

As I moved my gaze from right to left, everything seemed normal until the forest at the left.

The forest emitted strange purple and blue energy strands; it was completely different compared to the other part of the Wasteland.

I pointed at the forest and said, "The forest is emitting strange purple and blue energy strands, they look almost draconic."

Ying'er furrowed her eyebrows then moved the disc towards the forest. Two light blue flood dragons with their mouth bared and claws out, flew out of the forest to attack us.

*Blast*

A small beam of Divine Profound Energy shot towards them; the dragons had no chance at all. They were utterly blasted into oblivion, but the small beam did not stop there.

It continued into the forest leaving a small crater in the forest.

"Ken, stay here. I'm going to scout it for a bit," Ying'er told me before jumping down the disc and slowly flying towards the lake in the forest.

I moved the disc closer to the lake, so I directly see with my Rinne-Sharingan where exactly the draconic energy was coming from.

The tomoes in my eye rotated at maximum speed as a little bit of blood trickled out of my right eye, I focused all of my attention onto the blob of draconic energy trying to figure where it exactly came from and what it was.

My efforts had not gone to waste as I finally found out where it came from. The energy was being emitted from a small cave underneath the lake and the energy came from an extremely powerful dragon god.

I shouted aloud to tell Ying'er, "Ying'er! I found where the energy is coming from!"

She turned around then flew back to the disc.

"Ying'er, the energy comes from a small cave underneath the lake and it looks like it was made by a dragon god." I explained in excitement.

Her gaze turned serious when she heard that it was from a dragon god and she focused all her divine sense onto the small cave underneath the lake.

She frowned when she felt that something was blocking her divine sense from going any further into the cave.

"Do you want to test out your new flames?" Ying'er inquired while maintaining her gaze on the small cave.

I beamed at the thought of my new ability, "Sure," I replied then proceeded to close my left eye.

I first made sure that the target was the cave then whispered in my mind, 'Amaterasu'

A swarm of a black colored fire that emitted the aura of something evil burst through my eye and flew towards the small cave.

A strand of black fire first fell into the lake.

*Fwomp*

(A/N: Imagine the noise of something being set on fire)

The entire was set on fire, not just any fire, but Amaterasu flames.

It was a spectacular sight to behold, water that was the polar opposite of fire, was lit on fire. Within mere seconds, the entire lake dried up and the flames died out.

Now that the path to cave was clear, the rest of the flames moved towards its target.

A barrier made of draconic energy appeared before the small cave, trying to defend it from the encroaching dark flames.

As the dark flames and barrier made contact, at first it seemed the barrier would be able to hold out until the rest of the flames came into contact.

The barrier made from a dragon god was utterly destroyed, completely gone.

The flames had completely devoured it whole, not leaving a single trace as it continued moving towards its target.

The small cave was slowly being eaten apart by the flames, until there was nothing left. After the entire cave was eaten, then the flames slowly started dying out.

Ying'er eyes widened at the spectacle before her. Never had she seen such overbearing and evil flames.

After the last of the flames had died out, it revealed a massive room and a marble statue of a large dragon with jaws opened and slitted eyes staring at the previous cave.

*Drip* *Drip*

Blood was flowing from my right eye; my vision was blurred, and I collapsed under the pain of using my ability for the first time.

Before I could fall onto the disc, a pair of soft arms grabbed me then brought me to its soft body.

-------------Ying'er POV

Watching the black flames devour the barrier of a dragon god frightened me to no end. It ate the energy of a being close to a Creation God like it was nothing.

The backlash of the ability seemed quite light, considering that someone of the spirit realm had managed to destroy a barrier of someone close to a Creation God.

Watching blood flow like water from Ken's eyes shattered my heart. I regretted asking him to use his ability on something so powerful and what's worse was that it was his first time using it.

I caressed his sleeping face gently then wiped the blood that was starting to dry with my fingers.

My tears served well in removing the blood from his face.

I turned my head and looked in hatred at the statue of the dragon god for hurting my Ken.

But I did not do anything, for now.

I had to wait till Ken woke up so he can undertake the trial and receive the dragon god blood.

-----------Ken POV

I woke up to an extremely soft sensation in my hands, I gave it a hard squeeze and soon an erotic moan ensued.

I blushed realizing that I was being hugged by Ying'er and I had just squeezed her breasts, rather hardly at that.

Ying'er looked down at me with a seductive smile that could destroy King realms, "Ara ara~ I guess you woke up," She saw my blush then laughed out loud.

Embarrassed, I got out of her arms then I went to go look at the statue of the dragon god as if nothing had happened.

Ying'er went up behind me then wrapped her arms around my waist and chin on my shoulder, although I was 40cm shorter than her.

She whispered into my ear, "Those are the dragon god trials, whoever manages to finish them will receive the inheritance of the dragon god. I left it just for you to finish."

Hearing that Ying'er left the inheritance for me to receive, determination and resolution to finish the trial appeared in my mind.

We flew down to the statue, as I got close to the statue, its eyes flickered from marble to a living dragon eye.

The whole marble statue shed its white marble skin off revealing a deep purple and violet colored scales that reflected the light from the sun.

A glorious splendor was revealed as the dragon's majestic wings opened up and soul shattering roar sounded out from its mouth.

"Welcome mortals, to the Azure Dragon God Trials!"
