"Tim?"

Ash eyes widen, he coudn't grasp the situation he was in now. The person he was looking was standing in front of him. The one that even the knight brigade has no idea where he went, was standing unharm and coating with a bright smile.

" Brother, I heard your searching for me"

Ash threw himself to hug Tim. Is this really Tim. Why did he show just now? If only he knew how desperate he was finding him and how worried his parents are.

"Tim where have you been, I thought something unpleasant about you.I thought your gone forever"

"I'm sorry brother but now I'm here please be calm now. I heard you went wild because of me, you really care for me brother"

Ash couldn't answer that after it was all true.

"What happen Tim why you dissappeard?"

Tim made a blushful expression. " Promise you won't laught at me, brother?"

Ash just nodded his head.

"I got a bad dream back at home, it was so awful that I immedietly went home without notifying someone. On the way, I slept in and before I know it I am in a place I can't remember. Since I don't have enough money to go home, I earn my living for a few days then decided to go back and thats why I am Here now"

"You idiot! because of that you made us worry. But then, all is well, let's just go home and live ordinary okay?"

"Hold it!" Now it was Captain Rane who interrupt their long lost reunion. Geez, such a mood killer.

"I wont allow it, since you are already part of my brigade you are hereby directed to the rules of the knights. Unless with valid reason, you are not allowed to break your membership already. Or else, the castle with Sue your family"

"What are you talking, I didn't want to be a knight on the first place?"

"That is not a valid reason, beside if you back out now Tim will be dragged down to your situation. The knights order will not be Linient to accept him as a member since he already passed the exam and went AWOL"

What! This dirty conniving person!

Tim hold his two hands and brought over his face. While showing a pitiful expression " let's just do this brother, let's just become a knight please?"

When he saw Tim's strong conviction to become a knight, he just sigh. Now he couldn't do anything about it. " Okay, but don't to reckless when doing your mission"

Tim's expression lit in excitement and tightly hug his brother " let's do both our best brother!!!,"

The quarter for the "Black Ship" Brigade. A two storey old mansion located on a space dimension inside of the castle. The place is being hidden from the public eye and only member of the squad could enter the place. Right now, the people that consist the "Black Ship" is limited to only three people. Way more lesser than any other squad. It's because that the captain is said to be eccentric a lot of exam passers quit their job.

Ash, as he stood in front of the plain looking building couldn't fathom his feelings. Even though he surely didn't mean on the first place to be a knight, he ended up becoming one. As to his positoon, currently his a squire level 1 in training. There's are different rankings of knights and the lowest of it is being squire. Every aspiring knights undergone training being a squire.

This is it.

As his captain Liutenant open the door , he was looking forward for the people of this eccentric captain.

Rane first enter the door then he followed. Ash lingers on the surrounding area. Plain dining table and a typical kitchen area.Plus there is stair leading above. Must be the bedrooms.

So normal!

Ash was glad that he's comrades are normal people. Unlike his captain.

"Welcome, captain" as the three greeted them infront and made a light bow. Captain Rane was shock to see these three acting that way. "Today, we have a new member, his Ash"

Rane didn't indulge any information about him , just like his name and immedietly withdraw from the crowd. " I'm tired kids. I'll retire for the night. Be friendly to each other."

As soon as he left, the three flock to him like a magnet.

"Hey hey what your magic? Was it awesome? How's the examination? Did they let you eat scorpions or swim a ton of poop?"

Seriously? What kind of exam like that?

"Hey, quit day dreaming, there's nothing like that. " One of them scolded the other for being fussy.

"Argh, did you let us wear this boring clothes just for this new member, Weng?"

"Well at least for once we need to be normal infront. Captain would like it if we change ourselves a little" said the one called Weng. He seems to be the leader of the group.

"So it is alright to change now?"

"Okay"

In just one swift, the two disappeared infront of them. Weng showed him his way upstair towards his room. Upon putting his bag at the side table, he layed his weak body on the bed.

Knock knock knock.

A loud sound from the door awake him the night and it was so dark that he can't see anything already. Upon reaching a standing candle beside he lit it to lighten his way.

"Coming" though sleepy since it's the middle of the night, he walk like a zombie towards the door.

"Hello" When he opened the door a life size ugly maniqquin with red liquid plastered on it's body came it his view. He stumble backwards in fear. Next to the life size maniquin stood a young boy with Raven hair of 15 or 16 in age. His was expressionless when he made that prank on him...or did he intend to scare him on the first place?

"Sorry if you've been scared but I haven't introduce myself yet and decided to make it. They said it's better to settle things what you can do today than to put it out tomorrow.

Ash was speechless.

(Was that how you put it, in this situation kid?")

" I am Olivus Marcus."

The air became silent. Ash was waiting for the follow up of his statement but failed to do so. The kid just bade his goodbye and went away.

That's just it?

He was left speechless on the ground.

Sigh.

Now his sleepiness had gone. Going downstairs to quell his thirst he saw another kid on the table eating his midnight snacks.

He just barely past him without obtructing his leisure and proceed to his way. Its regular for a kid in this age to consume a lot more food than ever in order to grow rapidly. Right. It just normal for a kid ---whoa there! He never intend to look at him nor be curious what he's eating but what the heck kid! What are you eating now!

Somewhat his eyes flew to thing that was in the plate of this kid.

" Hey what is that!" Ash couldn't keep his curiousity since its dark he can't see it clear but somewhat he can't sense a fabric cloth on his plate.

The kid look up and stare at him

" Oh this, its called special sock spaghetti shredded to tidbits with chetsup. You wanna try it?!"

When the kid shove the plate towards his, he immedietly took a few steps backward" What the heck! Earlier he met a nocturnal necromancer now, a sock eating monster was laid in front of him! What else does this world offer that it's getting weirder and weirder every single day.

Ash wasn't satisfied by this wierdedness that he threw a bombshell that he wish he never ask. " Is that newly bought socks you are eating?"

The kid look at him as if he's the wierd one. As if he's asking something funny.

" Of course... It's used socks. New ones are tasteless. In fact yours tasted better. Teehee"

Upon hearing he immedietly look down on his feet.. Goodness! He doesn't have one on it although he's sure that he got one before his sleep.

He's had it enough with this eccentric kids. He retreated on his own room to get back to sleep. Maybe it was just all a dream.

Later that morning Ash woke up without the sun even rising still.

He woke up a little earlier that he remembered a vague dream.That was pretty stupid for such a dream to be that somewhat realistic.

Feeling of hunger led him to the kitchen. But to his dissapointed not a single spirit of foods was on the area. Just a few spices and ingredients. Where on earth that those guys eating? Haist. Guess there's no helping about it. Earlier he spotted an aquarium over the dining table. With a variety of fishes. Maybe those guys would eat outside when they woke up but he is so hungry now that he can't wait to eat already. Today's menu is fried fish and fried rice thus plucking the most fatty and healthy among the fish there.

Maybe he's imagining but somehow he felt that the fish is blinking with him.

Putting oil on the frying pan, he was about to put the fish on the pan when it suddenly jump from his grasp. Shit. The fish struggle upon landing on the floor, grasping for the fresh water. As he was about to pick it, a flashy smoke appeared on the air and the once fish on the floor turn into a boy. He was naked and a set of wet eyes caught his glare...

" ....brother are you going to kill me"

Eh? Where's the fish? He couldn't get a glimpse of it anymore on the ground.

Then when he could not find it, his stare went into the boy infront.

He's one he met yesterday. The one who they called Weng.

Now various happenings came into his mind and the happenings that night. It wasn't all a dream!!!

"I'm sorry!!" He kneel on the ground apologizing to him. What he had done is outrageous and stupid. But then again what is he doing inside the quarium?

" It's okay. I'm Weng. My magic is compose of shapeshifting and since the night is so hot I decided to relieve myself of hotness"

(So you decided you sleep on the aquarium. Shifting like a fish) he was just glad he wasn't able to fried him earlier.

Ash later new the full details of these three magics. If only they told him a little earlier he wouldn't that surprise that he felt his heart had stop for a moment there.

So the one called Weng, is a shapeshift. He could alter his body dna to that of animals smaller than him as long as he fully materialize the body component of the thing he would gonna mimick. He can't shift to plants since plant has a different component than that of humans, that goes as well with non living things. He's the senior among the three although his ranking is only Squire level 3.

Olivus Marcus is a necromancer and he can see spirits of dead people. As well as summoning this spirit to his favorite doll. Aside from that it seems that he can communicate and talk to the other worldly being. Ghost and spirit elementals are one of his jurisdiction also. He's also a squire level 2.

Doro, the one with the eccentric habit of eating smelly socks. Although he can eat ordinary food but his magic comes from there. His digestive system has a special habit of digesting this foods into toxic materials which later he excretes through gas. The gas is a dangerous poison that no one on the vacinity can be alive. It was quite severe that it's an instant kill to the opponent. However that would only be usefull to the number of socks he had eaten that which amount is limited to his disposal. His squire level 1.

And then the last was Ash. He had still no idea what he has so it'll be normal to think he's one of them. They are bunch of weird people. Along with their weird captain.
