••• Arabella’s POV •••
I paced around in the bedroom, feeling uncomfortable.
It had been three days since I had lost contact with Max, and I had had a hard time sleeping and eating.
As for the past three days, I picked up my phone and dialed a number.
“Hello, Luna Arabella,” the person greeted me the moment our call was connected.
“Alpha Daniel, has there been any progress?” I asked him anxiously.
“Unfortunately, no, Luna.” I could hear him heave out an exhausted sigh. “The situation is still the same.”
My heart fell when I listened to his words.
“Alright, then. Please let me know if there is any progress. Thank you, Alpha Daniel,” I said.
“I will, Luna.”
With that, we disconnected our call.
Alpha Daniel had told me that his team was guarding the cave, but ever since Max and the others had gone down there, the entrance to the cave had been closed, and no matter how hard they dug, they couldn't find the entrance.
