Chapter 11 : An itch and....

Some time has passed since my battle against the Death goblin, and although I am pretty annoyed that my meal burn down to ash, I am happy to have killed my first monster in this world

Though I had to constantly remind my myself that I could not replicate what I did to the goblin to other monsters in this forest

The goblin in a lack of better words was 'Stupid', it seemed like an inexperienced child that only knew how to play its death tricks and charge head first like a mindless bull

And besides it had a very big weakness that anyone with a brain or betters instincts could exploit

Other monsters may not have such a convenient weakness

Sigh*

Anyways after resting for a while some of my smaller injuries had somewhat healed up thanks to my {Lesser regen} skill, though my more serious injuries like my half chewed left arm may take months to fully heal

I thought sighing helplessly while scratching my right cheek

However it was the best thing I could have done at that moment in time, so It may have caused a inconvenience to me now but in the end I don't regret my actions

With some of my injuries healed up I thought about finding a better place to fully heal my body safely, as the thought of resting in the middle of nowhere reeking blood all over my body is not really the best idea

I got off the floor as slowly as I could carful not to reopen some of my injuries

After a while I was finally on my feet, though a little shaky but it was better than laying on the ground

'Now where can I find a place to rest?' (Gallant)

I thought in a puzzling tone, while scratching my right cheek

'Should I continued on the direction I was walking towards before?' (Gallant)

It was the only thing I could think of right now, as I thought I could eventually find a place if I just keep moving

I thought scratching my neck

But before I made a move I locked my senses towards the goblins ashes particularly the black disgusting stone that was left behind after the goblins death

Although the stone gives me an overwhelming feeling of disgust that makes me want to throw it into the fiery depths of hell itself, I could not do so, not because I didn't have access to hell but because it was the only thing left of my first kill in this world

I thought scratching my forehead in resignation

I walked up to the black stone and picked it up, and trying to inspect its description with my senses

The black stone suddenly didn't look so disgusting anymore, it looked like a treasure only the gods would give to helpless mortals like me

Although ingesting the heart may sound fine and dandy, I know It comes with big weaknesses that the description doesn't share, like the -99% HP or maybe the big weakness in the center of my chest and just to throw in a guess, turning me into a mindless beast that only knows death and destruction

I thought holding the death heart in one of the pockets of my ragged up cloths while scratching my left arm a little

With that done I walked in the same direction as before as slowly and as quietly as my current condition could handle

After walking for a little while I thought a back to the notice I got from the system the moment the goblin died

I stopped moving for a second as I sent my senses to the limit all around me In puzzlement

I thought in confusion as for reasons unknown I sensed a small sign of danger from all around me but there was no monsters nearby

But the trees for some strage reason had no leaves...which left the trees n*ked

'DAMN! WHY AM I SO DAMN ITCHY ALL OF A SUDDEN!!' (Gallant)

I thought shouting in an annoyed tone at the sudden unscratchable itch that struck my body

It was weird that I was suddenly scratching myself for no reason, was it poison?, like poison ivy or something

My senses screamed signifying that the danger was close, but I just couldn't find it

The next moment I felt a pain stinging sensation throughout my entire body that felt as if acid was on my body, this pain grew worse with each passing second, and with my enhanced sense of pain it was almost unbearable causing me to go down onto my knees

I thought about it, kicking my minded into overdrive

The next moment I opened my eyes wide in shock and disbelief and the notion I had just thought up

A half Vampire but with young Gallants father being a strong vampire my bloodline is more pure than normal half vampires

And what Is the weakness of every vampire in existence, I hastily looked at my status

But that was not the source of my confusion, what I was confused about was the thought of there being sunlight near the vampire castle

A horrible thought came into mind but I forcefully halted my thoughts as the pain was starting to burn my skin

I thought keeping my scream inside my head as I focused myself onto my feet and started running as fast as my body could go trying to find shelter from the sun

My skin started burning increasing the pain throughout my body but I ignored it and kept moving

I ran and ran, I spread my senses towards my surroundings desperately looking for a place to hide

But there was nothing

I finally could not keep my screams to myself and shouted my lungs out accidentally tripping on something a falling in a clearing where there were no trees

But the pain was to much for me to care

I thought in regret at the thought of the dying a pitiful death like this

The pain got worse and worse as my skin started burning like fire, in every passing moment that went by reaching a point were I could not even scream

I thought as I felt my body was slowly turning into ash, and unlike my goblin friend thanks to my {Lesser Sunlight resistance lvl 4} skill my process was slow, agonizing and painful starting from the legs and eventually reaching my head

I weakly reached out my hand trying to crawl my way forward while spreading my senses all around me

Thud*

But it was no use...I was dying

I kept looking around for shelter

I felt helpless...

I felt like...giving....up...

I thought as my senses dropped down to the ground signifying a bow of resignation to this situation

I clenched my small right blooded fist as hard as my weakening body could allow, then....

I banged my fist onto the ground as hard as I could

I kept on going at it banging my fist over and over again looking like I lost my mind but I didn't care as I only had one thought in mind

My futile actions got weaker and weaker and in a short while

I raised my fist slowly into the air, there was a tense silence in the surroundings, my fist wasn't glowing dramatically like some Mc in an anime, it looked normal in every sense of the word

However the raw emotions packed into my small fist were as immense as any dramatic moment,

The clearing were I lied shook for a moment

Web like cracks formed were I lied, as a small smile of satisfaction forced its way onto my burned face

The ground collapsed in on itself right under me as just under me was a hole that was so deep that my senses could practically feel the darkness within it

Falling into the deep hole unknown were it leads
