The apex of evolution. Primes are said to be individual that have the purest bloodline within their species. There were only three races capable of producing primes.

Humans, demons, and angels.

There was no requirements to be able to birth a prime. They just randomly came. Anyone could sire a prime as long as they had luck. And his parents seemed to have that luck. When his parents found out he was a prime a few hours after his birth, they went absolutely crazy.

Though primes were insanely strong, that was only after they awakened.

Awakening, a process were when an individual turned a certain age, they gain the ability to weild mana. This age defers with race. Humans at 14-16. Elves and dwarves at 9-11. Demons at 6-8. One of the reason that primes were feared was that they could use mana before awakening, though pathetically weak.

An unawakened prime might not be at full power, but they did still have a few perks, like a very strong body, along with an advanced version of mana sense, a skill which was only supposed to be gained after awakening.
