New Family in a new World

Human Continent. Somewhere for from being around the great Rosalion Empire that ruled the entire Human Continent, there was a small Kingdom, named Lightstar.

The Lightstar Kingdom was one of the few Kingdoms to have a peaceful environment surrounding it.

Because of the Lightstar King that abhorred evil and hated crimes, the population was safer than in most Kingdoms around the Rosalion Empire that had intense internal strikes. Or those that vied for power and fame.

The Lightstar family declared that everyone's achievements would be the only way to advance in rank.

There were Barons, Viscounts, Counts, Marquises and Dukes below the famous Lightstar King. The noble titles could also be passed down from generation to generation.

It was a rainy night, weather that blocked everyone's view of the falling star. A falling star that brought with it the greatest change in the Human Continent, no, in the entire Kavem World.

"Madam Yena, you have to push harder!" Said a middle-aged woman in maid clothes to a beautiful woman on the bed.

"Ah! I can't believe it hurts so much!" The woman named Yena screamed, mostly from the pain of giving birth for the first time.

It was the exact moment of the falling star, that Marquis Lock's wife, Yena, gave birth. The little human being, barely birthed, strangely enough didn't cry and only looked around him with curious eyes.

The baby being born was precisely Zack. He looked around him and only saw two human beings. One of them being a presumably maid of the house, and the the other was a beautiful woman in her 30s, she had black raven hair and blue eyes.

Her facial features were one of the most beautiful that Zack has ever seen. She was this body's mother, Yena.

"Lady Yena, it's a boy! Thank the light! Now Marquis Lock finally has a successor!" Said the maid, tears pouring from her eyes.

Even Yena started to cry, not because Zack was a boy and will eventually succeed the Marquis title from his father, Lock Night.

But because after trying for who knows how many times, she finally became pregnant and could offer the man she loved a child.

Yena's eyes slowly started to close, as she was too tired to continue. It wasn't a normal birth so it wasn't strange for Yena to collapse, because the boy being born could absorb the Mana of his mother, thus weakening her for a short period.

While it wasn't exactly rare for a baby just born to absorb his mother's mana, it depends on how much he could absorb.

Clearly Zack was extremely talented and would become a great mage in the future. While the God of Slaughter said that Zack will take the Power Path of this world,it wasn't absolute.

It was just that the chances of reincarnating in Yena's dead child's body were infinitely close to zero, it seemed that Zack got lucky.

The maid quickly opened the doors of the room and revealed two men and two women waiting outside.

Milord, my ladies, Jonas, you could enter, Madam Yena just gave birth to a healthy boy!" Exclaimed the maid.

"Maria, how's Yena feeling?" Said Marquis Lock while asking about his wife's condition before throwing a few glances filled with love toward Zack.

The maid, whose name was Maria hurriedly assured Marquis Lock that his wife's ony passed out from exhaustion. She was drained of mana by Zack.

At the same time lines of text filled Zack's eyes.

"DING! INITIATING SLAYER SYSTEM!"

Meanwhile, the other people who entered the room after Marquis Lock, butler Jonas and Marquis Lock's two concubines, Victoria and Lory.

Butler Jonas was a man in his sixties, he wore a monocle, and despite his humble expression, he was a powerful assassin that only executed Marquis Lock's orders.

The two women to enter after Jonas, Victoria and Lory were not of the same status as Yena and were actually concubines, not Marquis Lock's wives.

Victoria looked to be even younger than Yena, she was 27 years-old, with red shoulder hair, she didn't have a chest as bountiful or a face as pretty as Yena, but she too was a beauty. She was wearing a red nightgown that accentuated her red hair even more.

Lory was 34 years-old, she had a mature air around that gave her a mysterious feeling, her chest was even bigger than Yena's own, at least an E-cup. Her loose blue dress that showed a lot of her skin was a bit tight, as her perfectly curved ass showed its valor with every step she took.

After the news of Zack's birth reached the ladies, contrary to what one would expect, Victoria and Lory were very happy.

Unfortunately for Victoria, she couldn't get pregnant, as for Lory, she gave birth to two daughters for the Marquis. The two girls she birthed were twins, very talented ones at that, as the mana they stole from Lory almost killed her.

The Marquis took Lory and visited a lot of good doctors, they all said a single thing. No matter what, Lory was forbidden from getting pregnant again.

As she wasn't a Mage, but a regular person with a bit of mana inside, mana that was absorbed by Lucia and Ruvia, her two daughters, almost completely.

So it was indicated that she won't give birth again if she didn't want to end up dead. Marquis Lock hearing that, slowly stopped having sex with Lory.

But Lory wasn't disappointed by this, but the fact that she couldn't have a boy; still, now she was being happy for the only hope of the Night house, Yena.

The three women had a harmonious relationship between them and were almost like sisters. It was a rare case of the wife and concubines of a noble to be like that.

As in the majority of cases, women were the no.1 reason for a noble house to fall in obscurity or to get destroyed.

The two daughters of Lory, Lucia and Ruvia were two years older than Zack, which without his consent was obligated to change his name.

"Dear what name did you and Yena think of for the boy?" Asked Lory expectantly, Victoria was also curious.

Marquis Lock took Zack in his arms, before looking lovingly at him, as if he was the most precious diamond in the world.

"If it was a girl, me and Yena decided to name her Constance Night. If Yena gave birth to a boy, he would be named..." Marquis Lock slowed down his speech on purpose, to get everyone's attention.

"Rune Night." And so Zack, now Rune, started his new life in another world.
