Ch 16 - To the battle that decided the fate of this world!

While Haru had escaped to the Eastern Seas, the rumours floated about in the Central Continent regarding his death. After Fang Yuan came to know about Fang Zheng's death, he felt some regret. However, there was nothing he could do. If he had any of the body parts of Fang Zheng with him, he could have revived him using Man as Before Immortal Gu of Tai Bai Yun Sheng.

However, he did not think much of it. It was afterall a long term plan to get Fang Zheng's willingness to become Blood Deity anyway. Even possessing Fang Zheng's body using the possession technique he received from Dong Fang Chang Fan was a secondary alternative if he couldn't find any other way to revive.

After he showed off his refinement path attainment in his duel with Feng Jin Huang and deliberately ended the match in a draw, he received cooperation from Spirit Affinity House for the trade of Guts Gu as well as getting a revival method from Feng Jin Huang. Due to his refinement path attainment, even Immortal Crane Sect showed a much gentler approach towards Fang Yuan.

Refinement Path Convention ended and Fang Yuan was placed 2nd. He received the Success Dao Mark and started refining the Change Form Immortal Gu using it. This Immortal Gu was helpful for the use of the immortal killer move Unfamiliar Face.

A month later, he had fused Change Form Immortal Gu into Unfamiliar Face.

After that, He helped Tai Bai Yun Sheng face his Earthly calamity where Feathermen clan who resided in Sacred Feather City moved to his blessed land using the killer move Heavenly Wish. They had a bet with feathermen and Fang Yuan tried to take undue advantage in the bet. Finally, all the feathermen committed suicide and Fang Yuan was only able to get the soul of Zheng Ling, a Rank 7 feathermen Gu Immortal.

Lang Ya Blessed was invaded by Shadow Sect members. Their purpose was to retrieve core immortal gu from Refinement Cauldron. While defending Lang Ya Blessed Land against Qin Bai Sheng and his team, Fang Yuan used the killer move Unfamiliar face to create a new identity of Xing Xiang Xi, a star path Gu Immortal. He also killed Xue Song Zi.

White haired Lang Ya Spirit changed to Black hair Long Haired Ancestor to repel the invaders. Qin Bai Sheng and others were only able to steal part of Refinement Cauldron before they had to retreat to defend Luo Po Valley which was besieged ny Central Continent Gu Immortals headed by Feng Jiu Ge.

Fang Yuan received All out Effort Immortal Gu recipe and Blessed Land Relocation technique from Lang Ya Land Spirit as a reward for repelling the invaders.

Later on, he practiced fighting with Mo Yao even defeating her will using his star will and getting details of Spring Dream Fruit Tree.

2 months later, he went to visit Shark Demon with the identity of Star path Gu Immortal Xing Xiang Zi to get benefits from Yu Lu Blessed Land.

After that, he created trouble in Eastern Seas by using his knowledge of previous life using the undercurrents and troubling Song Yi Shi by seeing her naked in her Poetic Emotion Sea. He needed external pressure to join Eastern Seas Zombie Alliance.

He moved the Star Form Blessed Land using Lang Ya's relocation technique.

Later, he joined Eastern Seas Zombie Alliance and came back to Hu Immortal Blessed Land to hear the news that fragments of Starry Sky Grotto Heaven were falling down like meteors.

Fang Yuan represented Immortal Crane Sect in fighting for benefits from Grotto Heaven fragment. He was the only Gu Immortal who could enter due to having low amount of Dao Marks.

He visited the Star Constellation Dream Realm inside the fragment leading to his Wisdom path and Star path attainment rising from Ordinary to Grandmaster level. However, he was only able to reach till the 2nd level of the dream realm.

With Dong Fang Chang Fan's complete wisdom path inheritance and Star Lord Wang Xiang's Star path inheritance, and his Wisdom path and Starg path Grandmaster attainment, he made huge loops in his cultivation.

Using his attainment, he was able to advance the exploration of Yu Lu Blessed Land upto the final stage. However, he required Star Thought Immortal Gu for clearing the final stage of Unmoving Troops Battlefield killer move which was created by Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable. He stated the condition to Shark Demon.

Shark Demon had just agreed to fund him for refinement of Star Thought Immortal Gu when Blazing Heaven Demoness burst through their place and took Fang Yuan as her subordinate for clearing Yu Lu Blessed Land.

Meanwhile, fight between Central Continent Gu Immortals and Shadow Sect members in the Luo Po Valley came to an end. Shadow Sect members lost while Central Continent Gu Immortals occupied the Luo Po Valley. Only Hei Cheng and Black robed Extreme Physique Gu Immortal escaped from Shadow Sect's end while Feng Jui Ge was trapped in Thieving Heaven's True Inheritance.

Black robed Extreme Physique Gu Immortal escaped to Northern Plain Zombie Alliance but was captured by Old Ancestor Xue Hu who was ransacking the Immortal Zombie graveyard.

Since Old Ancestor Xue Hu's action totally enraged the zombie alliance, Blazing Heaven Demoness and Fang Yuan had to visit Northern Plains along with other members of Eastern Sea Zombie Alliance.

Fang Yuan was busy with refining Star Thought Immortal Gu. However, he failed multiple times due to the materials containing fire path dao marks. Meanwhile, Hei Cheng was being pursued by Hei Tribe. To kill him and also trap Fang Yuan, Hei Lou Lan requested for his help.

Later, after Hei Cheng's death and defeat of Hei Tribe, Fang Yuan came to know about the relationship between Hei Lou Lan, Fairy Li Shan and Blazing Heaven Demoness. He also found out that Hei Lou Lan had the attitude Gu and was the Fairy Black Moon.

He set a new agreement with them with regards to Guts Gu and other important aspects while giving away Self Strength Immortal Gu and receiving Nirvana Fire revival technique.

On the other hand, Zhao Lian Yun received two true inheritances of Theiving Heaven Demon Venerable - Divine Concealment and Ghostly Concealment.

From Hei Cheng's soul, Hei Lou Lan received the information regarding Luo Po Valley. She and Fang Yuan went to retrieve it and later place it in Xiao Hun Blessed Land.

Fang Yuan started to deduce Nirvana Fire technique which can be used for his purposes. After spending long time under wisdom gu, he was finally able to achieve living body using a similar technique. He was progressing well cultivating his soul using Luo Po Valley and Guts Gu.

Meanwhile, the shadow sect's plan had started with full force. Bo Qing's Swords Traverse Continents killer move pierced Centipede valley, destroyed Profound Ice palace and split Heaven Overseeing Tower into two.

He awoke and killed all the Gu Immortals who had come for his sword path inheritance. He even killed his fellow shadow sect members such as Seven Star Child, Yu Mu Chan and Song Xi Zing.

In the southern border, Bai Ning Bing activated the Graceful Chaotic House using time path investigative Immortal Gu.

Fang Yuan was about to use Immortal Zombie corpses to get high grade blessed land and revive when he heard about Rank eight Great Strength True Martial immortal zombie and Graceful Chaotic House.

The area around Graceful Chaotic House had become a forbidden zone for Gu Immortals. They would die if they get too close. To get the control of Graceful Chaotic House, one had to refine enough battle will.

Since Southern Border Gu immortals could not go near the Yi Tian Mountain, they sent Gu masters to refine battle will with which they could obtain control of the Gu House.

However, Fang Yuan recognized the flaw and sealed his immortal aperture after gaining portion of Old Immortal Kong Jue's Inheritance from Blazing Heaven Demoness.

He went to Yi Tian mountain as a mortal and started refining Battle will directly.

The fight between Bo Qing and Heavenly Court Gu Immortals had ended. Heaven Overseeing Tower was just fixed but the tower lord still felt unease and awakened many of the Heavenly Court members from sleep when they found out the events going on in Southern Border.

Old Man Yan Shi came along with other Gu Immortals from Shadow Sect and created a huge refinement formation trapping the Southern Border Gu Immortals in it while Spectral Soul started it's revival using the Ten Extreme Physiques Immortal Zombie bodies. His plan was to refine Sovereign Immortal Fetus Gu.

The Heavenly Tribulations were too powerful making all the gu immortals apprehensive. The fight went on for a while until finally when Heavenly Court members arrived in Heaven Overseeing Tower and launched the attack of Fate Gu. The white light shown and instantly created a huge gap in the formation. It killed all the Southern Border Gu Immortals when it touched them.

Fang Yuan activated the Spring Autumn Cicada without any further thoughts. His body directly exploded and Spring Autumn Cicada entered the river of time with his will. However, the moment his will entered the River of time, Spring Autumn Cicada was destroyed.

Fang Yuan's will was floating in the river of time and gradually dissipating.

Bee Sea,

A young man with broad shoulders was hovering above the bee sea. Countless flying beasts were floating around him as he was watching the bee sea with interest. His Rank 5 aura was overflowing.

There were large numbers of Water Bees living in Bee Sea. Countless boat flowers would flow along with the waves, arriving at Bee Sea area, it was the only opportunity for the Water Bees to collect nectar.

The scene was truly mesmerizing. The young man observed for a bit before someone called him out from behind.

"Master Ning Bing, we have reached the Bee Sea. This should be an ideal location to satisfy your needs."

The young man turned around and looked at the thin and short boy. The thin boy had Rank 3 middle stage cultivation. His name was Tang Lan. He was from one of the villages under control of Tang Clan

Tang Clan was a super force in Eastern Sea, it was equivalent to Central Continent's ten great ancient sects.

The young man nodded and after observing for a while, he issued a command, "Attack"

At once, thousands of flying cranes rushed ahead and cleared out hundreds of thousands of bee groups. This was a feeding session. The one sided slaughter soon ended and the cranes had eaten their fill.

The young man had a smiled on his face as he watch it. This young man was Haru who was currently going with the identity of Bai Ning Bing. He was one of his favorite characters in the novel but was put aside in the end.

His Rank 5 peak stage caused a commotion in the Mortal world. Rank 5s were few and each one would change the dynamics of the mortal world if the Gu Immortals are not taken into consideration.

It had been few months since Haru had come to Eastern Seas. At first, his cultivation fell to Rank 4 peak stage and he had to face many issues due to his Central Continent aura. But after a few months, his cultivation had restored and his aura melded with the Eastern Seas.

Haru knew that relying on flying cranes only to fly might put him in danger one day. So he used his resources to exchange for flying techniques and gu worms. After these few months, he was quite proficient in flying without the flying cranes.

As soon as the feeding session was done, Haru called out a particular crane. It was a myriad beast king comparable to Rank 5 gu master. Haru sat on the crane as he along with his disciple Tang Lan headed towards a particular location.

He had currently visited many important locations in Eastern Seas as mentioned in the novel which he could possibly visit. Afterall he was at the peak at the mortal level with the ability to roam freely without any interference. Only Gu Immortals would be able to hinder him but they generally don't interfere with mortal affairs.

Haru's experience was astounding.

During one of his travels in the Eastern Seas, Haru came across Tang Lan and saved him from the attack of Fat Butt Bird. These beasts attack by throwing faeces that have the power to destroy a segment of a wall. If Haru didn't save Tang Lan, he would have turned into a pile of meat.

After being saved by Haru, Tang Lan requested to become his disciple. Haru also found it convenient to have someone to show him around.

With the help of Tang Lan, he was able to find many wonders of the eastern Seas which he could never have experienced on his own. These were the things that made him feel that this world was much better than Earth. Some things which he experienced could not even be written in words.

Haru was feeling glad that he replaced Fang Zheng and was able to enjoy this experience. If he had been born in this world, it would be difficult to say if he could have reached even Rank 3 with his own willpower. He possibly might have been killed before even becoming Gu Master.

He was accumulating life experiences so that his future ascension to Gu Immortal stage would be smooth.

Haru was looking forward to the future. However, he had no idea about the calamity which was about to befall him.
