Leaving the Vampire Dimension (1)

A/N: The first 10 chapters were basically the prologue with time skips.

From now on, the story will focus more on Zoltan's daily life, as it's a slice-of-life story. [Ex. Training, completing quests, earning money for living expenses, etc...]

This will be a long story about Zoltan and his partner's lives, and if you have any questions, ask in the comments.

Thank you to everyone who has been reading thus far and supporting with power stones, and reviews. I enjoy reading the comments and talking with you all. I'm 90% sure my story will stay free as I would like as many people as possible to read it.

I apologize if the beginning chapters were either hard to read, didn't make sense (plot holes), and/or weren't detailed enough. Slowly but surely, I'm getting better at writing so hang in there.

"She's late..." Zoltan sighed as he waited for Sofia. He was currently standing near one of the dimension portals in the Vampire Kingdom.

It's been 3 years since Zoltan became Flora's disciple. During that time, Zoltan would be trained by Flora, practicing 4 of his affinities, Blood, Ice, Water, and Dark.

The 4 affinities had reached the intermediate level, and only his Charm had reached the same level. His Nature and Death affinity were still at the novice stage.

Zoltan had also leveled up to level 20. This was only because he barely trained in the forest since Flora wanted him to keep practicing his control over the 4 elements.

He was now waiting for Sofia, so they could head to the Human country to meet up with the D-Class adventurer party.

What Zoltan had found out was that Aria, his mother, didn't tell him all the necessary information. At times, she could be very reliable and mature, but other times, she could be very forgetful.

She told Zoltan that the D-Class party weren't humans, like him. However, they also don't know anything about Zoltan, other than he was their parent's friend's son. They don't know his age or his race.

Zoltan found that weird, how could you be friends with someone without knowing their race? Aria then told him the reason, and it was that Vampires were discriminated against, like Demons.

Vampires, in this world, sucked the blood of every living being, not just humans. Because of that, they earned a bad reputation and were forced to hide in their own dimension. Flora, the Vampire Empress, didn't need to do so, but she still created the Vampire Dimension and earned a lot of respect from the Vampires.

So, Zoltan and Sofia had to be disguised when meeting the D-Class party. They would wear masks, as it was common for adventurers to hide their faces since they didn't want to draw attention to themselves or their loved ones.

Zoltan and Sofia didn't have to change any of their features since they resembled humans. Only plebian vampires had features like crinkled skin or pointy ears.

The reason for the masks was simple, they were too attractive. Sure, they could use an artifact to change their appearance, but that's too much work when a simple mask could do the job.

Zoltan's mask was also enchanted with a resistance to sunlight. Sofia didn't need it because she was a Royal Vampire. The Royal Vampires are immune to sunlight, so when Zoltan fully becomes one, he'll be fine.

To do that, he'll have to suck Sofia's blood using his [Vampiric Suck] skill. Obviously, she wouldn't let him freely suck her blood, so he'll have to get closer to her in order to do that.

Anyway, Zoltan wanted to double-check his shadow storage and his system before he sets off on the adventure.

'First, let me check my storage...Let's see, money; 10s 4c, check! Rations for the road; check! Extra clothing; check! Looks like I have everything.' He thought, then he opened his System

After that, he closed his Status and opened his Abilities menu.

(A/N: I will put initials for each stage for a skill. Novice=N, Intermediate=I, Advanced=A, Expert=E, Master=M, Divine=D... I got rid of the Grandmaster stage, and I also deleted it in chapter 3; Training & System

Also, let me know if you like the new Abilities menu. I did this so everything looked more organized, plus I think it's easier to see compared to the old one in chapter 3.

'Everything looks good here as well. I've learned over my training with Flora that if I upgrade my affinities to the next stage, the system will automatically give me a random skill.

If I see a particular skill from someone else, I'll have to practice using the affinity(s) to replicate that skill. I could always purchase skills from the {Shop}, but for now, I would like to learn on my own.' Zoltan thought.

What Zoltan thought was true. If Zoltan sees someone using an axe made of Ice Magic, he'll have to practice using the Ice element to acquire that skill.

This was important because the system could help him utilize his mana better, instead of unnecessarily using it. If he didn't reach the required comprehension point, he wouldn't obtain the skill.

Of course, he could always replicate the Ice axe and make a Blood axe and/or something else. This was the beauty of magic, practically anything is possible.

After looking at his Abilities menu, he closed it and opened the Quest menu.

Zoltan had already viewed the details of all of his perverted quests.

In the 3 years under Flora, he received a quest to conquer her, however, the system merged it with Sofia and doubled the rewards.

Zoltan viewed the [Acquire the profession: Adventurer!] quest one more time since he was going to complete it soon.

Zoltan was satisfied with everything and he closed the menu. He didn't need to check the Harem menu since he has no members, and his Shop menu was useless unless he was going to buy something.

Zoltan thought of making Flora his already, but certain things needs time.

Regarding the shop, Zoltan had saved 104 perverted points during his current life. He had already seen the prices for the things in the Shop menu, and it was truly expensive. Zoltan didn't want to waste his current points since it was so little.

Although, Zoltan could've gained more perverted points if he went full pervert mode. However, he thought it was unnecessary at the time because he was only a child.

That's not to say that if he grows up, he'll become a full-blown pervert who only thinks with his snake. No, Zoltan wasn't stupid. He would make rational thoughts and decisions because this is his second chance at life.

Zoltan sighed and continued waiting for Sofia to arrive. They agreed to meet at one of the dimensions portals in the Vampire Kingdom at a certain time.

It was until 10 minutes later, that Sofia arrived.
