Chapter 28: The Hidden Village Of Bulbasaurs In Danger ![1]

After Gary left, I also started to make my way toward Vermillion City, which is about 5 to 6 hours away from my current position.

I continued to walk for 5 or 6 minutes straight, and as I was about to continue walking, I noticed six big guys with ugly faces wearing leather jackets and some other biker attire.

"Boss, boss! Just a while ago, I saw a Bulbasaur heading deep into the forest. I got interested in him and followed him to see where he was going, but you know what I found? A hidden village of Bulbasaurs," a masculine man wearing biker attire with a black leather jacket said as he looked at a guy even bigger than him.

Hearing the biker's words, I stopped in my tracks and then looked at them with a curious look. To listen to their conversation, I went near them but without alerting them.

I could do that as I did this type of thing a lot in my previous life as a soldier, and it's child's play for me now.

"WHAT! Is it true!? If it's true and we capture them all and sell them in the black market, we'll be rich overnight!" The boss guy said as he looked at his underling who told him about such information.

"Yes, boss! That's why I said so, and since you're so strong, I know we can do this!" The underling said, trying to butter up his boss with pleasing words, and it worked as the leader seemed pleased and confident.

"Haha! Yes, you're right. I'm really strong, and I can capture them all. Let's go and capture them all and sell them," the leader said with his imaginary nose reaching the sky with overconfidentness, hearing his underlings' praise.

"Please do not forget us when you get rich, boss. We're your loyal underlings!" The other three underlings of the leader said, trying to curry favor with the leader.

"Haha, of course, I won't! You're all my loyal subordinates, so how can I do such a thing!" The leader said as he took out the bag hanging on his bike that's filled with tattoos and designs.

"Then let's head now. It's better to capture them all when we know their location; otherwise, who knows if they'll shift their location," the leader said as his underlings agreed, and they left.

"So, it's like this! Hm, I'm not some justice hero or something, but if I save the Bulbasaur village, then I can definitely catch a Bulbasaur without having to actually fight any of them. Just like how Ash got his Pokémon," I said with a small smile on my face, proud of my own good plan.

"Haha! I should follow them and save the village at the last moment and get myself a Bulbasaur," I said as I stood up and followed behind the biker gang.

After 20 minutes of following them, they finally stopped walking after reaching deep into the forest that's at the right side of Route 7.

"So, is this where the village of Bulbasaurs is?" The leader said as he glanced at his underling who nodded his head, saying.

"Yes, boss! I followed him quietly, and he went there. I also saw some Bulbasaurs and Ivysaurs coming out of the entrance," he said as he pointed at the entrance.

The entrance was hidden from people's eyes, as the entrance to the village was that of a tall grassy way.

If you do not look closely there, you will just ignore it, thinking it's someplace with a lot of plants, etc.

"Oh, so this is it, huh! Let's go, but before we head inside, take all of our Pokémon and be ready to fight," the leader said with caution, as it's never too much to overestimate a Pokémon but it's partially over if you underestimate a Pokémon.

This world is not just an anime now, as it's real life, and deaths are too common in this world. If you're not careful, a trash Rattata can even kill you, so his words are valuable.

"Alright/yeah/okay, boss." The underling of the leader said as they threw out their Pokéballs after taking them out from their Pokébelt.

From them came a lot of streaks of red light from different Pokéballs before it formed Pokémon.

Their Pokémon were a Koffing, Ekans, Rattata, Beedrill. Each of the Pokémon, after getting out of their Pokéball, looked at the entrance of the hidden village of Bulbasaurs.

"Yosh! It's time... be ready, for now, we will head inside," the leader said as all of his underlings nodded their heads before they started to walk inside the entrance.

After getting inside, the entrance seemed like a different place because inside the entrance, you could see a lot of flowers here and there with Bulbasaurs playing around.

"Koffing! Use Smokescreen!" An underling of the leader said as his Koffing puffed out a large amount of smoke and threw it toward the Bulbasaurs playing around without any awareness of their surroundings before seeing the smoke.

"Bulba, Bulbasaurrrrrrrrr" A particularly brave Bulbasaur shouted at the announcement of the intruders.

"Ekans! Use Bite!"

"Rattata! Hyper Fang."

"Beedrill! Poison Sting!"

They all ordered their Pokémon as their Pokémon started to perform the ordered moves as they started to engage in fights.

After 20 minutes, all the Bulbasaurs can be seen being caught in a huge net with it being in the hands of the leader who laughed evilly.

"Hehehe! I'll be rich after selling you all!" Said the leaders with an evil laugh coupled with his creepy face.

"Vemasaurrrrrrrrrrrrr" The shout of Venusaur grabbed the attention of the leader as he stopped grinning and looked at the Venusaur that's above average in size.

"Ho, you've finally come out! My gateway to being rich!" Said the leader with a creepy look on his face.

"Venusaurrrrrrrrrrr" Venusaur shouted in anger upon seeing all the Bulbasaurs being caught in a net.

"Bulba, Bulbasaurrrr" They all said in a meek and scared tone.

"You all, use your Pokémon to capture him!" The leader said as he also ordered his Koffing to help them in the matter.

(A/N: The Bulbasaurs are weak because they are all newborn Pokémon, and approximately, there are 10 or 12 Bulbasaurs...)
